I would not recommend the 2026 Toyota RAV4 for Android

I would not recommend the 2026 Toyota RAV4 for Android users due to ongoing Android Auto issues. The connection is unstable, with frequent audio and connectivity problems. Dealers were not able to fix the issue and often blamed the phone instead of the vehicle system. My previous car, a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid, worked perfectly with Android Auto without these issues. For a modern vehicle, this is disappointing since phone integration is important for daily use like navigation and calls.

Title: Great reliability, but disappointing for a $50K

Title: Great reliability, but disappointing for a $50K “Limited” trim Review: I recently purchased a brand-new 2026 Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid, and while I remain a long-time Toyota customer (this is my second RAV4), I feel compelled to share a balanced and honest experience. First, I want to clearly state that my dealer experience was excellent—professional, smooth, and respectful. My concerns are strictly about the vehicle and Toyota’s product decisions, not the dealership. On the positive side, the RAV4 Hybrid continues to deliver where Toyota always has: Excellent fuel efficiency Proven reliability Smooth hybrid performance Strong resale value However, for a vehicle priced around $45K–$50K, the interior quality is surprisingly disappointing. The cabin materials feel noticeably downgraded compared to even the 2024 RAV4. Hard plastics are used extensively throughout the interior, which gives the car a much cheaper feel than expected—especially in the Limited trim, which should represent the top tier. What’s even more surprising is that competing vehicles in the $30K–$35K range (like Kia Sportage) offer a more premium interior experience. That raises a serious question about value. A few specific concerns: Interior plastics feel low-quality for this price point JBL sound system lacks depth and clarity No power-folding side mirrors (unexpected for a “Limited” trim) Seat height and driving position feel slightly off Overall interior doesn’t match the premium expectation It feels like Toyota focused heavily on reliability and efficiency—but cut corners on the experience, which matters a lot at this price level. I still believe in Toyota as a brand, and that’s exactly why I’m sharing this feedback. Customers choosing the Limited trim expect a near-luxury feel, and right now, this vehicle falls short in that area. I hope Toyota takes this feedback seriously and improves interior quality and feature offerings in future models.

The RAV4 is the best selling SUV in its segment and it

The RAV4 is the best selling SUV in its segment and it just got a complete refresh for 2026. The body styling is reminiscent of the Camry redesign with its hammer head shark front end. Overall Toyota really knocked it out of the park. Drivetrain is identical to the Camry as well. Bullet proof 2.5 liter inline 4 paired with a hybrid motor. Our AWD example produces 236 instant torque. Very quick. Some of the interior uses low end plastics and that part could be better. But overall this one is gonna be the SUV to even find in summer of 26. My wife’s SE was built in Japan and she loves it. The all new 4.0 Toyota safety sense suite is amazing too. I’m sure it will last as long as the last gen’s did.
