2016 VW E-Golf

I just purchased this car this week. It is fully electric. I was impressed with the power and "get up" it has for an electric car. It has plenty of room inside.

The Golf is a super fun car to drive!

CarPlay, turbocharged engine, compact, easy parking (that's a big deal in LA!). It's easy to why there's a whole community around the obsession with the Golf!

Definitely the best in its price range

I test drove everything under the sun with a similar body style at a similar price point and this was without a doubt the winner. It come standard with turbo and has so much more pep than the competition. It was luxury features and you just know it's made well when you hear the satisfying thud when the doors close. Highly recommend.

Love my VW Golf!

I recently bought a used 2016 Golf from the local VW car lot. It had previously been leased, had approx. 21,000 km and was in like-new condition. I was on the market for a newer hatchback (my last car was a 2006 Mazda 3 Sport) with more "bells and whistles". I narrowed it down to a newer Mazda 3 Sport and a VW Golf and chose the Golf because of its more streamlined, compact shape. The Golf has a shorter front end which I like the look of plus it makes it even easier to park. So far, I'm absolutely loving my new car and look forward to driving it every day!

Terrific car for local commute and about town.

Great car from the legroom, folding seats, styling, and quality. It's a winner. I love that it's the same as a VW Golf but electric!

Fun to drive

Handles well, excellent vision, am very happy with this car. Better mileage than my CC and handles as well if not better. Hopefully it's as durable.

1.8 liter turbo stick shift S Four Door

Fun. Was going to buy new 1.4 liter Jetta. Had had two 2014 Passats with 1.8 liter, but at, wanted drive with stick, so drive this. Extended payments out a year to get instead of Jetta. More elegant, and quicker. Great gearbox, and clutch, once you get used to them.

Great family car for cities

We needed to thread the needle - a car small enough to park in the city, but big enough for my 6'5" gallootness - plus a couple of carseats in the back. This fit the bill, and it's so much fun to drive, with lots of great little touches and an entertainment system that pairs effortlessly with the smartphone.

Joy to drive; economy car that feels "German"

I drove a half dozen similar small cars before buying another Golf. Nothing compares to its refinement.

Great parts but overall a cheap piece of junk

Always wanted a Golf and hoped it would be great. Many good features but squeaking, groaning sunroof too intrusive to deal with. Felt and sounded like a 20-year-old Yugo. Made poorly despite great engine and handling characteristics. Very sad to sell it and lost many thousands in depreciation but made me feel like driving a rickety, rattling, creaking old piece of junk. Quality control unacceptable.
