Very Comfortable, spacious SUV

Drives really well. Corners well. Plenty of room inside. 3rd row seating is great. The only downside is im not used to the engine turning off when stopped and it turns the A/C off. The safety features are a little too sensitive especially the cross traffic warning when backing up.

Reliable vehicle. Easy to drive

Nice vehicle. I wish it had more extras, but I couldn’t afford the one up. Electric seats would be nice, but overall it’s a great vehicle

2019 Tiguan Best SUV I've driven

The Tiguan is the best small SUV I test drove. All the haters that say it's under powered must have only driven it in Eco mode (which is an disappointing experience), but normal and sport mode are perfect. Plenty of room inside, sharp looks outside, and decent fuel economy

Picking it up Thursday!

We just took the SEL Tiguan back to the dealship after a overnight road-test. We absolutely love this car. We are short people (5'3" and 5'6) and test drove the Atlas first..it was too big ( and we currently have a '15 Durango) the salesman suggested the Tiguan S. We drove it and fell in love with it. My husband likes the sport, and eco modes. We decided on the SEL model with technology and opted to not have the 3rd row seating. We are a family of four with a teenage driver. Looking forward to lower gas mileage, cheaper insurance, and many family trips in this vehicle!

Extremely well equipped with Audi type finishes

The SEL model comes with all the latest tech. Interior quality is very premium. LED headlights should be standard at this price point. They are not. Other than that just accept this vehicle for what it is a high quality luxury SUV with Audi build quality and a VW badged price point. 4 motion all wheel drive is a must not only for snow and light trail driving but it's a magnificent little monster driving through heavy rain and standing water on the roadways. You won't be disappointed.

Great fit for my family

We were looking for a mid size SUV and was intrigued by the 3rd row option in the Tiguan. I was returning a Ford Edge off lease and needed a new family car. I really love this car for it's overall value. Above average tech and safety features. Excellent seats and overall interior cabin feel. I purchased an SE model with 8" tech screen, leatherette seating, safety features, panoramic sunroof and thrid row seating for 27K. The only draw back that I have is that the turbo engine has a bit of a lag due to the spooling from the turbo. Not as bad as some state. Compare the Tiguan to the competion and you will agree that the Tiguan is a great value and overall fun car to drive. Gas mileage is roughly 25 MPG mix use. 6 year 72K people first bumper to bumper warranty.

My 1st VW But Definitely Not My Last!

Overall I am very satisfied with this SUV so far. I was worried about going from a 4runner with a V6 to a 4 cylinder but the 1.8 turbo is a blast to drive, the car never feels underpowered. There is a little lag in acceleration but in Sport mode you never notice. My favorite feature is the interior, from the heated leather seats to the infotainment center everything feels premium.

My 3019 Tiguon meets and exceeds all my needs. The 3 USB ports, on dash navigation, Bluetooth, blindside indicators, rear camera, 4 Motion and more. Not to mention its stylish and has a look of luxury.........at an affordable cost.
