Used 2024 Acura MDX for sale near Pasadena, CA

Great experience!!! Sami in sales was extremely helpful and accommodating to my family. We drove 2 1/2 hours to the dealership and the 4 of us showed up 30 minutes before closing with my wife, a toddler and 6 month old. Sami, the manager and an F&I associate stayed an extra hour after closing to try and make a deal with my family. I was very impressed with the condition of the used Odyssey we were looking at and also the dealership presentation and amenities for customers. The staff went above and beyond with their reconditioning of the van, replacing the timing belt and tensioner which I have never seen another dealership do on the more than two dozen Odyssey’s with over 100k miles I’ve inspected in my ongoing 6 month search. The detail department also did an excellent job with the vehicle which is an area where most dealerships are lacking. Unfortunately, we couldn’t come to terms on my trade vehicles value at that time. While Weir Canyon did later agree to match a CarMax offer, we then were $1,500 apart on the cost of the Odyssey and did not end up purchasing the vehicle from Weir Canyon. Nonetheless it was still an awesome experience and I wholeheartedly recommend this trusted Honda store.

We’ve owned Acura’s since 1991. Have had sedans and SUV’s. Both MDX and RDX. This is the best one yet. The technology is unbelievable. The ride is superb. The comfort and roominess are second to none. The safety features are remarkable. Can’t say enough about this vehicle.

This SUV is awesome. It is surprising how comfortable and roomy is yet maneuvers so well in tight spaces like parking lots. It has a 3rd row seating which I will not likely ever use but it lays completely flat, so there is no loss of room. The rear area has plenty of room for 4 bags of golf clubs. We drove it to Las Vegas from SoCal last weekend and are really pleased with it.

I recently visited the Acura of Alhambra service department to get my Integra’s oil changed and ended up chatting with Joshua about a new TLX I’ve been eyeing. I mentioned I was planning to get one around April, and Joshua was incredibly knowledgeable and super helpful. He let me know that the TLX is actually being discontinued soon, so he suggested that now would be the perfect time to get one if I really wanted it. I really appreciated his honesty and expertise. Four months into the driving and configuring my wife's new MDX… So far so good! Excellent finish and interior quality. The car feels solid and is very quiet inside. No rattles, no squeaks, the only abnormal sound I can hear is the jingling of the metal ring on the key fob laying in the door top pocket. Driving mode is easy to switch using large knob in the center console, no need to stop and drill into the menu options like on new Lexus RX. Sport mode eliminates any feelings of insufficient engine power (at expense of the gas mileage, that's for sure), no jerking transmission then either. With about 4000 miles on it, transmission feels silky smooth. The sound system is excellent! The infotainment system is fine - no finger smudges on the screen. BTW, the screen panel quality is way better than the one on new Lexus RX. High contrast, deep black, and no way to get sun glare anywhere near. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto – all work like a charm. Default Acura's navigation is actually not that far behind, giving the choice of seamlessly switching between at least 3 navigation systems at any time during the driving (Acura's, Apple/Google Maps, or Waze in my very modest setup). Engine stop/start is annoying, but there is a way to control it with the brake pedal pressure – light pressure prevents engine from shutting down. Not sure what those rich folks with $60k+ cars are complaining about gas mileage. It's not a city commuter's car. I'm seeing 27-28 mpg cruising on the highway. It doesn't require premium fuel, that's additional 20% fuel economy for you. Driver assist features are all good and very usable. I only don't get why would ACC (adaptive cruise control) need to be that sensitive and require periodic "proof of presence", literally makes me shake the steering wheel a bit every several minutes. I hope Acura will relax this "rule" with the future software update, …please.
