I’ve had my 2012 S4 since 2015.
I’ve had my 2012 S4 since 2015. It has been very reliable except the rear main seal is leaking. I put a stage 1 tune on it which made it a bit quicker. I am going to miss my S4!

My experience start to finish was nothing short of excellent. I live in Wyoming and saw a car I’d been searching for for many months. I was a little hesitant to buy at a distance sight unseen but from the first call I received nothing but transparency and honesty. I requested some up close photos and video walk around. I got that shortly after my request, and in amazing detail! Mike was honest and forthright and answered all my questions with patience and respect. I’ve never bought a car at a distance before but I can say that I am extremely pleased with my new car. It was well described, and honestly arrived in better than I expected. It is a used car but the quality and attention to detail shows better in person than did in the photos! Mike was more than up front about the car do , where it came from, its history, the condition, and managed my expectations better than I thought possible. This is a first class establishment and I am really happy with my purchase. I’m glad I took the leap of faith working at a distance, I admit I was very hesitant initially. I got the car I wanted at the right price and all without leaving my home. I strongly recommend you give Kings Point Auto a try on your next purchase, even if buying sight unseen like I did. 2012 Audi S4 3.0 Prestige review
Expensive to fix
Honestly I got unlucky with mine. It’s a fabulous car in that the performance, comfort and design are amazing for the price but don’t buy one with more than 50k miles. Mine has 74k miles now and I’m staring to have all sorts of problems. Nothing engine related but stuff like sensors no longer functioning properly coolant leakage problems and the little cherry on top was my dsg failing. $5,500 for a new mechatronics unit and now I still have to replace or rebuild my trans. Another $4000 at least. Somehow when researching this car I didn’t realize how it isn’t too uncommon for this cars dsg to just completely fail around 70k-100k miles. Some people’s have even failed before reaching 50k miles. So make sure your trans is in good condition before buying one of these used. Or make sure you have some sort of an extended warranty!
