Reliable and high performance BMW x1 with excellent value for the money. It’s exactly the same as an x3, but smaller cargo space. Easily fits 2 rear passengers.

Recently has service on my BMW at North Haven BMW, the people who work there Megan, Oraine, and Andrew are all so nice and helpful and explain what they will do and what to expect cost wise. Most comfortable car I have ever driven. My 6th BMW. So easy to get into tight parking spaces. Brakes a bit tight- need to get used to!

When you walk in its like seeing friends you haven't seen in years! Very friendly and they have patience which most places do not have. They made it easy picking a car and getting it!

Just picked-up the X1 on Mar 28th and had a great ride home from the dealership. Handles very well on the road with ample torque when needed. Hate the start/stop mechanics and the fact that you must deactivate each time. Hate the ConnectDrive thing—beware this is a sinister ploy to get more of your dollars and convert once standard car features into subscription services. It is evil. Love the interior. This is my third BMW, so I think this X1 interior is quite good for the money and I am astounded by the standard features list—Wow! And there’s a spare tire with tools in the trunk, WHAT!? I use a touch screen all day, so the tech is no stretch, as long as it works. We shall see, the OS is new. Dual clutch….hmmm, it has its advantages, but smooth take off ain’t one of ‘em. The seats are superb and the cabin very clean. Love the cargo space. This is a good vehicle for a certain group of buyers who want cargo and fun. This is a smart ICE choice, and I hope there will eventually be a U.S. bound iX1.

Had a warranty repair done on my hybrid last week and they took care of every detail of the repair, from scheduling to pick up, even getting me uber rides back and forth because there was no shuttle service that day. Been coming here for years now, always friendly professional service. Some services are a little pricey, but the work is always quality and the service is spot on. Definitely recommend. This is an update from my February 1, 2019 review. I have now owned the vehicle for nearly seven years. I’ve personally driven nearly 20,000 miles in it. The vehicle now has nearly 50,000 miles on the odometer. I purchased it certified pre-owned from a BMW dealership. I have maintained the vehicle to manufacturer specifications. I have only paid for routine maintenance. I have paid for zero repairs. My previous review is confirmed. Full disclosure, two repairs were covered under warranty by the BMW dealership when I purchased the vehicle and one other repair was performed by a different BMW dealership due to their mistake during a routine service.

i think car max got it right when they make you an offer they are serious.it is good for 7 days and the process is rather seamless

The 2024 BMW X1 is nimble and responsive. It has an excellent memory for self-driving the car to back out of tight parking spots along the path the driver used to get into it. The car feels spacious inside and is easy to get into. My observed hwy mileage is 36mpg @ 75mph and 22mpg in suburban driving. It’s defects are: 1) the driver must learn how to start from a stop to avoid a sluggish pick-up or a sudden forward jerk; 2) the owner’s manual does not include directions for setting up the electronics, so the owner must resort to a complex cryptic in-car system that is difficult to sort through; 3) the built-in navigation system's is hard to use; the owner will resort to Waze or Car Play; 4) the car is bumpy on rough surfaces, and vibrates like a massage unit on washboard.

New bmw x1. Glides…effortless driving. Incredible performance. I’ve had three other x1’s prior…nothing comes close to the handling of the 2023. However…the huge screen is distracting, it’s not user friendly and by the time I figure out the new gadgets I’ll be ready for a new lease🤷🏻‍♀️

The BMW X1 is fun to drive. The sunroof is awesome. This is a nice small SUV that has plenty of trunk space. I would recommend buying this car

My only feedback, as someone who frequently purchases high-end vehicles (Range Rover, Aston Martin, Acura, etc.), is that the dealership can get very busy and you can tell the staff was overwhelm, I think some technology could help them because people would get lost in the waiting room like we did :). This is understandable, especially on a weekend and the last day of the month—partly my timing. Overall, I look forward to building a long-term relationship with this amazing team. After almost 10 years, I’m thrilled to have a BMW back in my garage. Highly recommended!

So reliable and fun to drive, even in snow. I’m tall and seats are comfy, even in rear. Very versatile with good cargo space. Love the kick-to-open rear door. Mileage is around 28 mpg, it requires premium fuel. It drives a little sluggish when not in Sport mode.

I've had three 2015 X1's. Drove the wheels off one, one got stolen and on my third. Love this car! So economical and the gps is off satellite, not cell tower. Get maps ANYWHERE, for life. I only have 72k on it and will be my last vehicle.

2020 X1 w/sport seats and convenience package, purchased in 2023. Positive notes: It's a true BMW: sure-footed, agile, and no shortage of power when needed. It feels remarkably glued to the road despite its small size. Handles as well as my former 3 series and is just as fun to drive. Storage space is good. Ergonomics are good once you figure out all the technology. Negatives: Ride is a bit bumpy, even for a sporty car, which is apparently caused by the run-flat tires. If I was buying new, I'd get standard tires and a real spare, which fits in the storage space in the back. Sensatec seats are hot. In retrospect, I'd hold out for leather. Overall, I recommend this car if you're looking for something small, practical, full-featured and sporty.
