My main desire to remain a customer of Hoehn is because of my very positive experience working with Mike Shaffer who is an extremely knowledgable, thorough and friendly service advisor. Mike is very focused on customer satisfaction. Every time I bring my car for service at Hoehn Mike is always able to make the experience seamless with the check-in, overview of the work to be performed and his excellent follow-up communication. My wait time from dropping off the car, reviewing the repairs with Mike and obtaining a loaner car is always less than 15 minutes. I appreciate the free loaner car. 1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

I had the car I wanted transferred in and from start to end they kept me informed. The waiting period was a bit of a bummer, but knowing that my car was arriving made it worth the wait. Ryan was super he completed the transaction and put us in good hands. We had a minor defect with the windows but Ryan made sure it was taken care of . Overall we were quite pleased. Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

Bottom line is… they actually care about the customer experience & not focused on JUST selling a car. After a disastrous experience at Kia, Honda restored my faith in today’s car salesman. I am very appreciative of their kindness and their patience. Buying a car isn’t always something we as customers are prepared to do and sometimes it’s due to a stressful reason and they were very kind and understanding. I’d give them 10 stars if I could ✌🏼💙

Communicated well and took good care of car recall at home. After recall, The computer needed to be reset / updated and they drove right back to take care of it.

Very comfortable, with massaging seats plus heated and cooled seats. I’m not sure that it’s a great value because it is expensive. The adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping work very well and almost make it self-driving.

Fantastic vehicle with low maintenance. Still rides like new. Just had first incident with the passenger restraint light coming on the dashboard and will need to see what that’s about.

This was the finest auto purchase experience I've ever been through. Salesperson Chris was a gentleman and helpful to the max. I was nervous about my first long-distance car purchase. My choice was a 2006 Audi S4 they had listed. I've been looking for the right one all over the US for a year and a half. They even drove it to the local Audi dealer (at no charge) for me where I'd set up a pre-purchase inspection, on short notice, too. The inspection found three minor things wrong, and VIP fixed each perfectly. After answering all my questions the purchase was made by phone/text/mail and was completely easy and free of hassle. They also accepted the personal check I mailed them. No wire fees. They even picked up my wife and me (Josh drove) at the San Diego airport (again, at no charge!) to take delivery of the car at their dealership. We were treated personably, by genuinely nice employees, throughout the remainder of the transaction, which only took about 30 minutes. The vehicle was detailed to AS NEW (and I mean AS NEW) -- even smelled like new! We drove it the 500 miles back home and it ran like a top. And still does months later. Chris even made a fair offer on my current vehicle, and we had it shipped to VIP. The only hiccup was somewhat poor service by the shipper that VIP suggested, who initially dropped the ball big-time. I'd avoid Stateway Auto Transport in the future. But they did get it done. Again, I have never actually "enjoyed" an auto purchase until this one.

I bought a 2021 BMW X5 4.0 with the M Sports Package and this had been one of best vehicles ever owned. The reliability, comfort and curb appeal adds to it value. I traded a 2016 Lexus GX 460 for the X5 and have no regrets!

Mission Viejo Kia was great. Mike was awesome and got me in the Kia Forte that I wanted. He was super helpful going over everything with me. I was never pressured in getting anything I didn't want. Going through the process of buying a new car can be stressful but I didn't feel that here. I appreciated their help.

The car is spectacular, it only brings a defect to me concern, the star/stop bottom does not have the option to deactivate it, although in sport mode it is not bad. In areas of uneven pavement the car jumps like a rabbit, it's not comfortable, but smooth is not bad. The car is almost perfect except for those two things, and very economical in the city, spectacular on the highway and off roads or mountains, it is super good and capable. Mine has not brought mechanical or electrical problems. super nice everything

You could blame it on COVID, the new generation or just lack of care but this is the ONLY dealership in the state of California that has met my needs, expectations and checked all the boxes as far as service is concerned. My plan is to continue working with Auto Nation Hyundai because of the excellent job that Pablo as well as Yahere and other staff members provided. Did morals and values come into play along with empathy and attentive behavior? Did I feel safe and well cared for where my vehicle is concerned? Does this matter in the grand scheme of things? Before you buy any BMW older than 2018, check out the Isley V BMW lawsuit. You will find the V8 in all pre 2018 BMW's to be problematic for oil leaks and valve stem failures due to defective engine design and excessive heat. I have this X5 with the V8 and it's a wonderful car to drive and look at. It's my 5th BMW and by far the most reliable. Unfortunately, even with all the meticulous care, my car has experienced the oil leak and smoking exhaust, just like all the N63 & N63TU engines through 2018 will experience this problem and the cost to repair exceeds $20K from the dealer. If you find one that had the valve stem seals replaced, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it, it's a great vehicle in many ways.

I love how BMW of Carlsbad treats their customers. Last week I came in just to have my coolant topped off. Miguel helped me & got me on my way. He recommended I get an oil change, so I went this week. Great customer service again!

I frequently change cars because I love to learn and experience new vehicles. I bought a new 2020 RR Defender and traded it after 5 months for the X5. I wasn't really looking for a new car but fell in love with the X5 while accompanying a friend on a test drive. I really like that it handles like an ultimate driving machine. And the drive characteristics are extremely customizable. It's quiet, quick and comfortable. No squeaks or rattles - the RR had a few. It's a solid German example of automotive excellence.

I just bought a beautiful 2025 BMW M240i at BMW of Carlsbad!!! My sales advisor Michael Torres took care of my needs in no time. Very attentive to my needs and requirement that he even had the car washed and gassed up when we were done with all the transactions. We take trips to Cashiers/Highlands NC frequently. The drive is just over 5 hrs an it flies by quickly as the car is so comfortable. The peppy V8 has lots of power to pass quickly on the highway when necessary. Once we get into the mountains it feels great to switch from Eco mode to sports mode to attack those tight turns :)
