This is my second XT5. Had a 2017 and never had a problem. Just got my 2023 XT5 Sport, and wow, maybe too much power for a senior citizen, but I love it. A few changes from the 2017, but love the car. I put other vehicles like the Jeep or GMC as beasts, my XT5 is more like a cat, still get where I want to be with luxury.

3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

We own two XT 5’s 2017 AWD and 2018 FWD. I can not recommend these vehicles more highly. Eight years with the 2017 and no major issues at all. Regular oil changes and have been diligent with manufacturing recommended services. The vehicle is comfortable, reliable and I am keeping it to the end. 78,500 miles by the way. The 2018 is 6 months old with me. I purchased it with 18,000 miles. Just finished having all fluids flushed, plugs changed out and some high quality tires on it, and look for to owning it for the long haul. I am very impressed with these vehicles. They feel solid in inclimate weather, handle exceptionally well and the fit and feel are top notch!

Good interior quality, beefy, spacious and well built. Predictable handling in all weather and road conditions. Not so comfy but your ride is always safe. Regular maintenance is not so expensive.

I needed a Ford dealership to take care of a couple of recall notices on a 2023 Bronco I purchased used from a non Ford dealership a year ago. I had received a brochure from Hawk Ford in St.Charles, Illinois, and decided to give them a try. To make a long story short, customer service arranged for a pickup of my vehicle at my home the very next day as well as a more than reasonable time frame for the repair, and then delivered my vehicle back to my home about a half hour ahead of the originally scheduled time frame. Because of the fact that I needed recall repair work, there was no charge for either the pickup and delivery, or the actual repairs.The courtesy and customer service extended to me actually left.me speechless. All I have left to say is, I now have a Ford dealership I can rely on. Thanks again Hawk Ford.

My daughter and I were traveling from WI to Iowa, when about 15 miles from the dealership, my check engine light came on. I went directly to the dealership. Without an appointment, they were able to get me in, figure out the problem, fix it and get us on our way. I was so grateful that we weren't turned away and that they made time in their schedule to fit us in! They kept me informed the entire time and sent us on our way 3 hours later. The XT5 was well maintained, inside and out. The ride is smooth. Up-to-date technology. I rode 324 mile road trip was with no problems. My family was impressed with the ride, interior and technology.

I needed a new vehicle and had decided to upgrade from my previous cars. A Cadillac was on my short list, so we started with Napleton Cadillac in Rockford. As we were looking at the cars, we were greeted by Alex, who brought us into the showroom to chat so he could find out more about us and what we were looking for. We took a beautiful new XT5 out for a test drive, and then went back in to chat more and get more information. I told Alex that I was just beginning my search, and he very nicely asked if he could give me a card, which of course, I took. Over the weekend he emailed me to explain current offers and rebates. After looking at a few other brands, I decided on an XT5, so we went in the following week to further discuss a purchase and look at a few new and preowned cars. Alex took the time to explain the specs on each one, making sure that I understood what each car had to offer. He wanted to make sure that I would be happy with the model I chose. Buying a car is a long process, but the Napleton showroom is very comfortable, and the fresh coffee and snacks kept us going! By the time we finished with the purchase, night had fallen and I wasn't comfortable driving a new car in the dark. Alex offered to have it delivered the next day. My beautiful new XT5 arrived the next morning at the appointed hour, freshly washed and detailed. Alex stayed to help us set up our Onstar service and get acquainted with my car. The overall service was simply impeccable. From the beginning to the end, I never felt any pressure, and everyone at Napleton made us feel very important and welcome. I had just got this car and it's been to the shop twice, first 2 days I had it I loved it, the performance is great and the interior is amazing! I have the sport utility model and I love all the features and the sound of the xt5!! Over the week my power liftgate stopped working/ would only work at certain times, my check engine light came on reading codes about the camshaft and coolant temp not being high enough. I'm not sure what's going on, this might just be a me problem but over all very nice car, just alot of bells and whistles and specific dealerships to go through if it ever needs repairs.
