I move back from Florida to Pa in 2001. Before I left I sold my 1963 Austin Healey 3000 and my 1971 429CJ Torino which I had for 28 years. At one time I had a 1968 MG roadster which was so much fun to drive. At 81 needed to spend some of my 2 step daughter's inheritance. They are waiting like 2 vultures. I was looking for a 60's GTO for a long time. However I remember fuel problems and no longer to need quarter mile runs. Started to look a MG's again. McGinty had one which I passed on then decided to look again. I drove 2 1/2 hours one way to look at it. The staff were excellent and got to talk to the mechanic. This car was a 1980 and had only 56000 plus miles. Pat and his wife are wonderful folks. This car was excellent and I am so happy I bought it. Who ever had the car before took very good car of it. Went recently to look at a Porsche 911. Salesman “ Shah Khalid” was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car I was looking at. We agreed to a price, etc. At the last minute I backed out due to a family illness issue which caused LOCO to loose a sale to the second person looking at the car. Totally my fault. Got things worked out, including a refund of my deposit. Car ultimately got sold. Hope to revisit all of this with Shah when things calm down at my house, and he finds me another @ cream puff”
