Been driving a 96 C2500 for two years now. Put 100k miles on it and got the truck with 168k. Only issue it's ever given me was a faulty Mass airflow sensor. No other issues, taken it from Florida to Texas twice and has done great. Only complaint I have is 13mpg out of the 5.7V8. Great truck overall and would totally buy another for the right price

The pickup of my choice is the 6.5litre turbo diesel. This truck did not have the most power of any diesel when made but it was incredibley reliable. It also got amazing milage, and the handeling was awesome for a three quarter ton pickup. It would pull a 26 foot stock trailer fine but you better not try to race anyone when pulling. Alltogher it was a nice machine and they should have kept making them.

1994 Silverado, loaded , a 350 5spd, Extra cab, long bed, This was dads. I went with him when he purchased it. It spent it's first 100k miles hauling a 5th wheel to warm climates. Today it has 138,000 miles. It is a one of a kind.

I am pleased with this truck. I haven't had any problems, as of yet. The truck is showing 97,000 on it but the carfax shows 297,000. Other than that I have had good luck with it. The A/C works as well as the heater. The interior is plush and carpet in good condition. It seems to drive and handle a bit on the HEAVY side, thus it being a 2500. I am experiencing a bit of a problem with the tie rod end on the driver's side, and the lock won't lock on the pass. side with the button. Over all a good truck to scoot around in, it's working days are over with.

I purchased my Cheyene from my state department of transportation as surplus. they used it for ten years then auctioned it for $5600.00 with 130,000 miles on it. I had many required maintenance trips to the shop. But have put another 100,000 miles on the running gear. Recently I replaced the transmission but the engine is still very good. No blow by and no oil consumption. I had to replace the rear main seal so I put a new transmission in. The old transmission was still running but had too many miles on it for me. The miles and cost 25 cents per mile for maintenance and diesel modifications says alot about these trucks. I still get 14 miles per gallon too. About the same as my old B2200. It is a good old fashioned diesel pickup that sounds like a truck and rides like a truck.

I would give Jake and his team the highest marks possible for a used vehicle purchase from a dealership. I found a vehicle that met my needs that was in great condition at a fair price. I flew to Idaho from the mid-west US and drove it back 2000 miles without issue. They were very responsive to all my questions in the process of investigating the vehicle and they were very upfront about the condition of the vehicle. I looked at several other trucks on their lot while I was there and it appeared all of them were low mileage, rust free trucks in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them again and in fact I plan to do so in the next year or so.

Great truck that has been reliable and safe through the years. It has needed some repairs but has kept up. Wouldn?t sell it except that I have a child on the way.

I went to Shea Buick GMC because their inventory of preowned vehicles had many selections of the models that met my needs as far as mileage, year of manufacture and price. I actually bought the vehicle I had been the most interested in since March. I made an appointment, the salesman met me at the door and had the vehicle I was interested in with the air running ready for a test drive. It was perfect! We added a tonneau to the package, agreed on a price for the trade-in and the purchase price for the truck I bought. We arranged for the insurance, the installation of the tonneau and for a pick up time at my convenience. All was done in a matter of 2 hours! I bought this 97 K2500 4x4 truck used with a 6.5 turbo diesel. The motor needed a new PMD which happens alot with this motor. The PMD always burns up and the truck wont run right because of the PMDs placement.and I got a FSD heat-sync because of its relocated location so it will never go bad ever again. The truck runs like a champ after I replaced a bad vacuum pump and now the turbo works great. mileage is from low 12s city and could go all the way up to 20 highway if you drive it right. The control arm bushings are being replaced, I put on a new air intake, and I hope to do much more with this big block V8 motor. but a FSD HEAT-SYNC is a MUST with this motor of you will hate this truck and the dealerships for changing your injection pumps 10 times in two year and still not solving the problem!
