Used 1998 Chevrolet Camaro for sale near Springfield, OH

i bought a 86 pontiac 2+2 . my credit union was not still in my state, so needed a co op credit union . they did not do that amount of money with out signed documents from my home credit union .mgm worked with me to get my payment worked through. it took a couple of weeks . when car got here there was a oversight with a maintenance issue .we talked back and forth we reached a agreement and they helped to fix the problem.in my case everything worked out

I bought my 98 Camaro brand new and I still have it. It’s in mint condition even the cigarette lighter still works. I’m a young 68 lady and After owning the big guys like El Dorado and a Tornado, I wanted a sports car. Camaro met all my needs. It is fast and fun. I love the hatchback. It came in handy so many times. Love the T tops I got all the upgrades. it’s in mint condition. With 110.000 miles. I had another car so that’s why the mileage isn’t as high as it would be for its age I get so many compliments and everyone knows me by my car. I don’t know if that’s good or bad! Just bought 4 new tires. I love this car. It has never let me down. Other than basic maintenance I had a new air-conditioning system installed two years ago , I’ll never sell it.. thanks Chevy for making such a fast fun and affordable sports car.

5+ years ago I leased and serviced a car from them. My experience was great. I since bought a car elsewhere and went to a couple of other places to get it serviced due to where I worked. I wish I would have stayed at Runde. One of the places I went to was a dealership in Dubuque. They were horrible. I highly recommend Runde! They pick up your car even just for an oil change, they are organized, and remember the mileage sticker in the window. They are so pleasant to work with. I bought this kind of on a whim because I had a 1976 back in my misspent youth and always wanted another Camaro. At the time these came out I hated the style but over the years it’s grown on me. The new ones, as well as the new Mustangs, are just over the top. This car is fun and quick for having the 3.8. The T-Tops are great...no leaks even at 20 years old. Two complaints. The dash does have the crack they all have seemed to develop. I guess the huge windshield causes that. Also the GM VAT system is the worst. The constant use of the tilt wheel causes the wires running to the security system to fray shutting the car down cold. Bypassing the system is pretty easy and the problem is fixed for good. Overall I’m really pleased with this purchase and I guess I’ll keep this into my doddering old age for git and shiggles.

This car is simply extraordinary. It runs perfectly and is extremely reliable, despite being 21-years-old. It has made the five hour trip to college with me several times, and it has never given me any troubles. It would be perfect for someone who wants a car for joy-rides or simply running errands around town.

This car has met my needs, but is no longer economical for me. A very fast and dangerous car, and I'm fortunate to have never crashed going really fast. Was the fastest car around at one time and has never lost a race in the quarter mile. Too much fun!

Here is a review of my start to finish dealings with Gate City, Ft. Lauderdale: 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gate City. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal that I waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns. 5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care even if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. 6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. No issues. Thank you Barbara! 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am going into Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gate City again....they just operate in a different style than what I'm traditionally used to, which is just fine.
