We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

I owned a generation 2 Chevy Cruze hatchback for the past 8 years. Other than routine maintenance it never had a failure. Excellent fit and finish. Incredible gas mileage with a peppy turbo charged engine. The only negative is that GM no longer produces these highly reliable vehicles.

Lafayette, who was my service advisor, was very awesome and patient with me. Answered all my questions, and even helped me with Sunbit application that was causing a problem for me. He went above and beyond from start to finish. Also the technician had a problem downloading my cars diagnostic review, received the wrong one, unfortunately, so I reached out to Lafayette after hours and he looked into the issue right away to make sure the proper repairs were actually done to my car. He explained what happened which put me at ease. Thank you Lafayette for going the extra mile.

We left our house this morning on a mission to look at 5 dealership with basically the same style trucks and packages, just different add ons or colors. Reineke Ford was the first stop. From the second I hit the lot I had a comfortable feeling. We weren't swamped or ganged up on walking the lot. I walked in and asked for the online sales manager who paired me up with a sales representative named Melissa Kia and I was extremely impressed. Her knowledge of Ford trucks and how to operate all the tech and features was spot on. She answered all my questions and showed me every inch and feature in about 15min and already had it by the front door with a tag on it waiting. Prior to this, I had a lifetime of GMC trucks and a recent past with a couple of Rams. Both brands had failed with either an engine rebuild or a transmission so I was ready for something different. She sold me on the features and had me very interested. After the drive I met JB Brentson to put our deal together. We're both hard working parents but given the past few 10 years or so, we've had some life happens kind of things so we knew it would take some help. When our preferred lender Capitol One refused the offer they told us to make, we decided it was time to leave. JB asked me to trust him and give him a chance. He'd make it work. So we did because I truly felt this was going to be the dealership to make it work. So I abandoned the other choices and after about 20min we were signing the papers and shaking hands. It was absolutely refreshing to actually find a dealership that was there for us. The entire building staff talked to our autistic son and offered our kids drinks and snacks like we were family and I greatly appreciate it. Thank you "Kish" and JB for your support and help! I purchased a silver 2017 Chevrolet Cruze LT with the “convenience” package from Carmax in April of 2020 for about $16,000. It was a one owner vehicle, garage kept, and had only 24,000 miles. I got a great deal on it with financing and it is probably the best decision I’ve made in terms of buying a car. The exterior design is attractive, and modern. The interior is also very attractive and doesn’t have the cheap look and feel of many compact cars. It has all the technology you could want in a vehicle. Apple CarPlay/ responsive infotainment system, optional WiFi hotspot, OnStar, heated seats, push button start, stop/start system and more. When it comes to performance, it’s a mixed bag. It is more enjoyable to drive and has more power than other subcompact cars with 4 cylinder engines. I had a 2014 Nissan Sentra with 2.0 I4 and CVT transmission and it was the most boring driving experience imaginable. The 2017 Cruze is an improvement over that. The 1.4L Turbo engine is wonderful for highway driving. When cruising on a highway in a lower gear, you punch the throttle and the turbo kicks in, giving you plenty of reserve power for passing. Highway driving is where this car shines. When using regular unleaded fuel, you will experience some turbo lag, which can be jarring if you’ve never driven a turbocharged vehicle. Using Plus grade gasoline makes a noticeable difference in reducing turbo lag. On the other hand, the overall acceleration from 0-60 is disappointing and can feel sluggish when accelerating from a complete stop For reliability, I haven’t had any issues with the car yet. I am aware of the reputation of GM compact cars and the 1.4 turbo engine, but this car feels far more refined than any other subcompact vehicle I’ve ever owned. It feels like a quantum leap from the previous generation Cruze. So stick with the 2016-2019 models, as they don’t have as many reliability issues as the 2010-2015 models. As of today the car has 48,000 miles and with timely maintenance I’ve had no mechanical issues to date in the first 3 years.

This was by far the best car buying experience I've had in 30 years! Each person I interacted with was informative, courteous, and non-pressure. It started with a contact with the online sales person, whom I met in person at the time of pick-up. Adolfo was a true gentleman and took the time to investigate every question for me before making the nearly 4 hour drive. He provided pictures and a summary of their standard inspection report details to back it up. Though the Sienna van was higher mileage, it was a recent trade-in and impeccably maintained. By supplementing the CarFax details, I was convinced this van should be safe and reliable for many more miles. Ultimately, we got a great pricing, too -- probably in part because many folks avoid higher mileage vehicles. Signing the paperwork with Adolfo was straigtforward, clear, and efficient, and then I finished up with a few more signatures with the finance office, which was also quick particularly because we didn't need financing. Honda of Ames provides the buyer a flash drive with all completed paperwork so I don't need to scan these for recordkeeping later. Such a nice touch! Not to mention, they have a comfortable waiting area and a nice indoor kids play area so my little ones were constructively occupied. In all, we were at the dealership probably about 90 minutes including test drive. I've been at dealerships for literally a half a day before! So, even though it's 4 hours from us, I'll be tempted to make Honda of Ames my go to source for car buying. Keep up the great work, and thank you!
