My Equinox EV has exceeded expectations. It is stylish, roomy and has more than enough power. Charging at home is a breeze and charging on the road takes time and good planning. I highly recommend recommend this car.

The car is a floating couch it’s so comfy! The tech is so cool and the big screen gets compliments all the time. Once you get use to its little quirks it’s an awesome car. I wish it charged a little quicker had better speakers and was a little more powerful but those three are fair trade offs for the value and comfort. Looks super cool too my nephew calls it a space car haha.. Good job Chevy!

We recently purchased a used Jeep Wagoneer from Heller Ford in El Paso, IL, and the entire experience was nothing short of fantastic. Huge shoutout to our salesperson Onie Maisonneuve, who went above and beyond from start to finish. We live about an hour and a half away, but Onie made the process incredibly easy by handling everything over the phone ahead of time. By the time we arrived, all that was left was a quick test drive and a bit of paperwork—start to finish, we were in and out of the dealership in around 30 minutes! A couple of days after taking the vehicle home, a mechanical issue popped up. Onie was immediately responsive and had a loaner vehicle arranged and delivered to us the very next day. The service department didn’t miss a beat either—they had the necessary repairs completed quickly and efficiently, making sure we had our Wagoneer back just in time for a planned family vacation. So I love this car only bad thing is no Apple car play. I have the AWD and it feels so good in the snow has lots of room compared to the Bolt EUV and the range is wonderful.

We returned our leased 2022 Bolt EUV and leased a 2025 Equinox. My wife really wanted the new 2026 Bolt but it wasn’t available yet. I love the bigger feel and roominess of the Equinox, but admit its size makes parking more challenging. Quiet and smooth ride on standard 19” wheels and higher profile Michelins. Really nothing negative to say about the Equinix, other than a bit of a learning curve with some aspects of the tech stuff. Chevy has done an excellent job of providing both great cars with the best pricing. For the practical person it’s a no brained. Oh and the range is awesome at 350+/- miles!!!

I just wanted to say Tim Hoffman in service exceeded my expectations. I bought a 2016 CT6 from a dealership in Crystal Lake. I put 300 miles on the car and noticed something was not right with Transmission good thing I had the extended warranty. Tim coordinated everything it was a big job and he coordinated everything with warranty company and kept me updated on status. Shout out Kyle Portis service manager at McLoughlin Chevrolet today for his great service. Scheduled for 10:00 for a 1-hour job replacing the fuel filter. He got me in and out in 35 minutes. Which allowed me to keep the rest of my schedule for the day. Thanks Kyle I appreciate your service and efforts to make sure I could keep my schedule. Also was able to apply the 30% discount on recommended service so saved me some Cash as well. And who knew gourmet coffee and doughnuts from heavenly doughnuts. Jimmy Knox is whom to ask for when visiting Jerry Hunt Auto. Jimmy is an experienced pro. We have done more than 1 deal together and everything was in black and white as expected. No tricks....just straight forward dealing.

The dealership was responsive and followed up regarding my questions. I did not end up purchasing the car I was looking at (yet), but their service was outstanding so far.

Pros: - lots of miles on a full charge; inexpensive to run. - excellent ride - fantastic take-off and acceleration, although you can run into intense torque steer. - Comfortable inside. Well insulated for noise. - Beautiful and large LED screen which is easy to use. Tilted toward the driver which is another plus. - The myChevrolet app is great for getting the car warmed up / cooled ahead of time. - Very attractive exterior - more so than the EV Blazer. - Good controls that allow you to select more specific conveniences, door lock features and the like. Cons: - Cheap interior with a lack of fit and finish. - No grab handle for the driver's side door. - Awful stereo system. The 2024 EV did not offer a Bose system option. The one included sounds like a transistor radio. - Severe dashboard glare on a sunny day. Very hard to see outside. - Brake and gas pedals are too high. A smart move would have been to make them adjustable. - The door handles are useless. They automatically open in regular weather but forget that idea if the car freezes over. The insides of the handles are slippery - no grip at all. - To turn the car off, you have to reach behind the steering wheel and press a little Power button on the screen. Why? - The bottom of the steering wheel where the bottom spoke meets the wheel has sharp plastic edges where you can easily scrape your hand if you like to hold the wheel at that position. - Takes longer to warm up than a gas car. - The center to window edge roll of the windshield wipers is just not necessary and they are awkward. It's not a bus for crying out loud. - Interior back hatch release button is hard to find and on the dash, rather than having it on the door. - the manual climate controls are hard to reach and difficult to figure out. - The wiper controls are on the left and are a bunch of mixed controls that make you fumble through the thing to figure out which item to turn on. Should have been kept on the right hand side.

I was able to contact a salesman after hours by text and arrange for a viewing the next day. When I finally arrived on Saturday evening my selected vehicle was standing by for a viewing and a test drive. Afterwards we did the paperwork and I was helped by the salesman in making a domestic wire transfer through my banking app on my phone. No cash or checks necessary! Once the wire went through the service department changed the oil, detailed the vehicle and set the tire pressures. I was able to make arrangements for a delivery to my home saving me a trip and several days of anxiety. My salesman kept me informed at every step. The vehicle I chose was in great condition inside and out which speaks to the quality of the vehicles on the lot. I feel like I got quality service even though I didn’t purchase the most expensive vehicle on the lot, by a longshot. I also had the opportunity to purchase a great warranty for my vehicle, which I found to be surprising that it was available at all. I look forward to working with Kearns again in the future for my next big purchase.
