2000 Chevrolet Lumina Base review
value in a used car
Going on 200000 miles and I still love this thing. You can get them for cheap and they are reliable. A Honda of the same year and miles.is like 4 times the costs. I've had zero problems with mine. My friend with his Toyota looked down his nose at my lumina until his Toyotas engine died and I had to pick him up in my 2000 lumina!Sure, it's cheap and cheesy but it's got it were it counts. Cheap to buy cheap to maintain and it's never ever given me any trouble.

Best car I've owned
I bought this car used from my uncle, who bought it new. This car was VERY reliable and was probably the best one that I have owned to date. The care was comfortable - though the steering wheel was kinda thin and weird.

1991 Chevrolet Lumina Base review
One of the most reliable automobiles I've owned.
The 1990-1994 Chevy Lumina Euro has been one of Chevy's most successful models to date.The 3.1L V-6 is the most reliable in it's class. This engine is just about bullet-proof. The 3.4L in the Z-34 Model has a few more horses & gives you quite a bang for your buck. The ride is very firm & it handles very well. The gauges are laid out in a simple but easy to read pattern. All controls are easy to reach & read. I found that the driver's seat cushion is not as firm as it & it tends to lose shape & should have more padding. The rear seat is comfortable & roomy enough for three avg. adults. The trunk is large & deep enough for three good size suit cases.I have owned two Euro's & they never let me down.As long as you do the normal P.M.on this car it will last for decades.These Lumina Euro's are like a Timex watch:"Takes a licking & keeps on ticking".
