Over the years I have driven different cars. I had Malibus in 1974, 1977 and came back to the Malibu in 2014 and now have a 2018. It is my favorite car and is just the right size for me and family members. Drives nice and is good on gas. I get compliments on my 2018 model. I call myself malibu Man.

My Malibu Premier is a nice designed car with good styling, performance. The 2.0 L so far runs terrific. No issues with the park drive errors. I am not letting a marginally designed micro switch to crater how nice the cars is. I lived my Cruze also. My last Chevelle was a 1967 SS 396. That turned some heads. I have always bought GM and will continue. My best GM purchase was a 2005 GMC Sierra extended cab with the 5.3 engine. I still have it and is in great shape. The LS 1 series is one of the best engines ever built.

Omar was my Salesman and he was very professional and knowledgeable. We worked out a good deal on my new Civic. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 for buying process is because you always have to leave yourself room in your mind for your monthly payment once you sit down with the finance person. But everyone was very pleasant.

Shift to park issue been going on for several years to the present at least till 2022 and is a nuisance and causes several restarts

I have owned BMW, Jeep, and GMC, I decided I didn't want to pay $60,000 plus for a vehicle anymore, I'm over it, lol, so I bought a 2018 Malibu Redline and I have to say...hands down my favorite vehicle I've ever owned! I constantly get compliments when I'm at the gas station on what a great looking car it is. I have the Redline pkg and blacked out the windows, it does look great! I love all the extras they put in the Malibu, drive asst, backup cameras, info center....etc. I have never had a problem, it's never let me down! A simple recall, easy fix, is all. This car is so comfortable, we travel a lot! I would highly recommend this vehicle!

Roy was very personable...actually each team member we encountered was knowledgeable and courteous. We never felt like they were pushy. They listened to our wants and made us feel comfortable.

In February 2010, on my way to work, my 2001 Subaru Outback broke down. I had a tow truck haul it and me to #1 Cochran Subaru in Monroeville. Once the mechanic checked it over, I was told that it would cost a lot of money to have it repaired. I had a choice to make. I loved my "Crocodile Dundee" Subaru Outback and didnt want to let it go!!! After talking with my sister-in-law, a friend, and the Service Technicians, I made the decision to buy a new car. The Service Technicians were so nice. I couldn't stop crying, so they bought me lunch and checked in on me throughout the day to make sure that I was doing okay. That's how I came to own a 2010 Subaru Forester. Two Saturdays ago my check engine light, cruise control light, and another light came on. I raced to #1 Cochran Subaru and the Service Technician, Cheyne Brooks, checked it out and said it was okay until he could get me in and have a loaner car ready for me. Yesterday, Monday, October 25, 2022, was the day for me to take my car in to get it checked out. Before I left in my loaner car, a 2022 Forester, I went in to talk to a sales person that I had met months ago, Jamie Bergamasco. I met Jamie when I had stopped in to see if I could get a look at the new Outback Wilderness. I did get to see one and the price tag!!! Jamie remembered me and my name from that day many months ago. I had decided to be proactive regarding my car, rather than reactive. We sat down and talked for awhile. I explained what I needed and why. He listened to me and took a lot of notes. About an hour later, Cheyne called to tell me what was wrong with my car. I listened to him, but I didn't hear what he was saying. What I heard was that it was going to cost me $820.00 then and then a couple of months later I would have to pay around $920.00 for the 150,000 mile maintenance service. After many conversations with my sister-in-law, talking through my options, I decided that the best course of action was to buy a new car. I went back to talk with Jamie regarding my decision. He took the rest of the day helping me to find the right used car for my needs. Jamie made a very stressful process for me less stressful, for which I will always be grateful. I ended up buying a 2018 Quartz Blue Pearl Subaru Forester. I want to thank Cheyne Brooks, a master Service Technician, for all of his assistance on Monday and for all the previous years (and all the coming years). Cheyne, you are the best!!! I want to thank and recommend Jamie Bergamasco, Sales Person Extraordinaire, for his dedication to his job. Jacques was an absolute pleasure to work with. Coming into the day we test drove at Webb Hyundai Merrillville, we were leaning towards a luxury mid-size with BMW and Infiniti at the top of our list, and we closed out the day by driving home in a 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. Jacques was very knowledgeable, easy to work with, not too pushy but also stayed on us once he saw our interest increasing. Much of the reason why we ended up choosing the Palisade Calligraphy was due to his approach, as the many the dealerships we went to within our test-drives did not provide a good experience. It also helped that the dealership itself was nice with responsive parts and service employees, free car washes, and a comfortable service area given how long it can sometimes take getting your car serviced at a dealership. Very happy with our decision to purchase from Jacques and Webb Hyundai Merrillville. Highly recommend!

Only negative I could say about the company and it isn?t really a negative is that they don?t accept my vehicle warranty and other dealerships do and it has been proven to pay out on claims. Other than that the service they offer is great
