I have been very pleased with my 2015 Silverado 1500. There a few things to note about this model though, they tend to have some transmission issues and some may have drive shaft vibrations if not maintained properly.

As a single mother of 3 little ones, I need something dependable and big enough to haul around all of their toys and sports equipment. In the past I have been burned by used car dealers. After my husband left me, I can no longer afford to lease Acadia’s. Dave and Michael were great. They were very low pressure and offered for me to have a local mechanic of my choice take a look at the van. After the mechanic inspected the van, he noticed that there was a minor leak in the radiator. Dave and Michael went above and beyond for me. Bought this truck several years ago - 2012 and it drives excellent! Pulled a 20 ft boat and trailer to the bay with no problem. It is a little tricky to maneuver around short turns.

Bought used. Did some research on it found out problems with AFM. I installed a tuner and did AFM delete and got rid of the top speed limiter, also set other perimeters to high performance, cold air intake, got rid of vacuum pump for braking and went to intake vacuum for booster did tranny thermostat bypass. also changed intake from 5.3 to 6.2 and changed throttle body. Installed catch can for oil blow by. Installed a throttle control booster, change oil every 3000 miles has 125056 miles got rid of all3 cats and has headers and dual straight pipes. sounds great. hptuners got check engine light off. I have street raced this against Camaros mustangs ect and tear them up. tranny has no issues nor do valves. Have buried the Speedo several times max speed was 152mph going by speedo on tuner display. In a truck ride was smooth handles great. I dog the xxxx out of it and it just takes it. I invite others to race. tag says RUN YOU.

I have a 2020 1500 RST with the 5.3 engine and 8 speed transmission. My truck now has 67,000 miles. The acceleration is outstanding and smooth from gears 3-8. Probably could use more torque for gears 1-2, but not weak by any means. I have had no mechanical problems outside of the clunking rear suspension which was fixed by retorqueing the rear leaf spring suspension bolts. Other than that minor issue, it has been very reliable. I have heard these transmissions have had issues, but nothing that has caused issues for me. It has the 60-70 MPH shutter that is common to these transmissions, but I have learned how to drive to avoid the shutter, as I did with my 2011 1500. Overall pretty satisfied at this point. Comfort and amenities could be better for the front seats for the price, but I bought it knowing that. FYI my front brakes at this point are still 50%, and I have invested very little outside of a few fluid exchanges and routine maintenance. Excellent fuel mileage: 20 mpg with 50% highway vs city driving.

Overall I love This. Chevy truck. Aside from the minor issues that Chevy should have taken care of long ago Such as Intermittent transmission failureThat cost me $3100 at 60000 miles. And the power train output that could have been much more which I enhance using a super chip program that Actually woke this engine up the 5.3 by the way. And they should have long eliminated the active fuel management. But after all these issues I love the Chevy truck come on Jim get it together stop producing better track 2 better trucks less recalls don't make me jump Ship !

The driver side front door grip is made of plastic frame construction underneath soft rubber. It broke in less than two years. All parts supporting grip handle are cheaply made of plastic.

Since I've owned it, so far so good. I like my truck and I appreciate it everyday. A little bit of shaking in the steering at high speeds but I'm not concerned with it. Overall, pretty great.

This has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Purchased new Dec 2012. As of April 2021, I have over 238,000 miles! Outside of scheduled maintenance, I have replaced front and rear factory brakes at 200,000 miles - I was down to 15 Percent on Front, 8 Percent rear. I replaced both Front hubs at 210,000 miles. I follow the maintenance as outlined in owners manual. This has been a very good reliable truck. Cant' say it enough. I have the 4.8L V8 engine, 4x4 Reg Cab Short Box. LS trim. Body / Paint /Trim still look Great, People comment all the time, Drive Tran and Engine still run strong. Getting Same MPG (18) that I got from the first Tank of Gas. I use Truck for commuting back forth to work, driving off road (weekly) fire trails, farm pastures, dirt roads as well as interstate.

But I could not collect immediately so she accommodated my distant needs without hesitation despite it being a small inconvenience to her and the owner; they were so accommodating. When I drove to collect, being short of time due to poor traffic conditions, Victoria was swift, efficient, friendly and outgoingly helpful that we completed the sale/purchase formalities swiftly and without a hitch and I was able to drive off in the BMW to meet my previous appointments made possible only because of her professionalism, customer dedication and kindness. Now I know about this small, out of the way jewel and when I move from this fit for purpose BMW I will most certainly visit them again and aim to upgrade to a more sophisticated model that better suits my dreams. I had a base 2018 LT for just over 4 years. I bought it used off a lease buy back. I loved the truck, and if I didn’t end up needing a bigger back seat, for car seats, I’d probably still have it. I thought the ride was bouncy, almost too bouncy. I had no issues mechanically. The antenna was stuck and I marred it up trying to replace it. And the sunglasses holder started falling. The tpms sensors failed. But no big issues. That’s why I give it 4 of 5.

In 2010 We bought a 2008 silverado. LT 5.3 engine. Two wheel drive. I still drive it everyday. Regular oil changes. This truck had 26k on it. Today it has 156k. Battries. Breaks, plugs and wires. Thats it. -50 below outside, starts right up! Awesome! Proud owner.

Hi I am writing a 6 month review of my 2013 F-150 , I shopped for a replacement truck for a long time could not find a good truck at a fair price. It all came together for me at Discount Auto the truck was and is everything Pat said it was. I keep my vehicle 10 years I have know doubt this truck will go the distance.

The most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Ordered new Jan '08 (4x4 ext cab std bed, 5.3L). Truck has been used entire life for towing 5500# camper in the rockies with no issues. I changed all fluids at 5k, 50k & 100k miles. Wish I had a 6spd+ tranny when climbing mtn passes, but the 4L60E has been flawless. Fuel economy averages 17.7mpg not towing, 14.8mpg towing.

This truck meets all of our needs! Runs & rides extremely well & is very quiet. Minimal road noise. Plenty of room in the cab. Leg room in the double cab backseat is a little close but not uncomfortable. We bought it to tow our travel trailer & it's perfect! Very, very happy with this beautiful truck!
