I want to start up by saying, I am not a "car person". I do know, is a 5'2 female, this car feels like it was made for me. It gets amazing gas mileage, and you can park in a sidewalk square if needed. Yes, it does not have a lot of bells and whistles to it at all, but it does have the Android auto / Apple Auto feature which I love, at the same time as having roll up Windows. It is perfect for in town and highway driving. I drove it all the way to Georgia from Illinois with no problem. And my 6'5 son fits comfortably in the passenger seat as well, as well as plenty of room in the backseat and trunk for groceries or luggage.

Keep in mind this rating is for a small gas fuel efficient economy car, it's way more than expected and for 2 years has not diminished my opinion at all. Good reliable car. Here in New England I have seen models from 2013 and newer still driven all over and even the prior avio models on the road too. BSic maintenance keeps them together. It is a good car!

First of all, I am a stick guy. I bought a 5 speed 2021 Spark, I prefer shifting and have been for over 50 years. I get 40+mpg most of the time. I am 68, and our family has full sized pickup, full size SUV and other vehicles. So not my only car, but the most fuel efficient. It is the one I want to take especially when driving alone. I pull trailers with other vehicles, but am very pleased this small car is so efficient and even with a small 4 cyl and reviews of underpowered, when you know how to use the manual transmission, it can have plenty of passing power. I am an engineer and understand, a simple fuel efficient car is not going to accelerate like a muscle car, and don’t expect it to!

To me these reviews all sound like everyone wants what they want this is a business that’s selling used cars a tip to help new buyers. You are given a 500 mile or 15 day warranty take the car you buy down to the original dealership or any mechanic have them do a over all inspection if anything is wrong with the car that the warranty covers take it back to the place you bought it from and they are legally obligated to fix it at their expense not yours because it falls under the warranty also make sure you buy GAP INSURANCE AND ANY OTHER EXTENDED WARRANTIES REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR MONEY AND INVESTMENT!!!!! We bought our 2020 1LT for our daughter’s graduation present. We wanted something small, cheap, and brand new for her, so the cheapest at the time were the Spark and the Mitsubishi Mirage, the Spark just at a glance looked so much better than the dated and cheap looking Mirage. Daughter loves it. She’s off at college now and the car is home and I’ve been using it. I Drive a full size pickup and wife’s vehicle is a very full size SUV/truck. I am surprised how much I love this little car, it’s not fast on acceleration but it’s still so fun to drive, an reasonably comfortable for me and I’m 6’2”/ 240#, surprisingly I have more than enough leg and head room. The seats are a bit thin, thus the 3star on the comfort department, but I give it a pass because it is a commuter car (and I can stand to lose weight!) I’ve taken it on 3 hour trips and was plenty comfortable for the most part. I’d absolutely recommend one for what it is. Great value, fun to drive.

I own the LS model with the manual windows and it does not have power locks or mirrors. I got it because I needed a reliable car, and this has exceeded my expectation. It is not the most comfortable seat, but again I didn't buy it because I wanted a Benz, and it could be much worse. I have put 9k miles on it with a few very long trips and it has done great!

The key to the cvt transmission is to change transmission fluid and filter every 30,000. Great commuter car . Driving 60 mph and under I usually get between 37 and 42 miles per gallon. Driving over 60 mph it will range between 33 and 36 mpg . It is small but it's fun to drive .

I purchased my Spark new, June 2019. I love this car! It is now, one month before 6 yrs of owning my Spark. It has less than 10,900 miles on it. This car has great maneuverability, gets great gas mileage, and I love the Hot Red body color. The only thing I've had to replace, in almost 6 yrs, is the battery. And that was just a few months ago during freezing weather. It gets regular oil changes and maintenance checks. The 2019 Chevy Spark is one great little car for the money.

There is NOTHING I don't like about my Spark ... that's not to say that there couldn't be some improvements ... but it is EVERYTHING I want in a car in 2022. I bought mine back in 2018 ... love the roll up windows (power windows break over time and cost money), love the REAL ignition key, love the manual transmission (had to search high and low - but that's okay I found it), love the compact size, the Apple Car Play, the comfort - - - but MORE THAN ANYTHING, in this world of $5 gas ... I can't tell you how happy I am with the mileage. I AVERAGE over 38 mpg. That means for the price of gas, my expenditures are the same as a schmo with a car that gets 19 mpg back when gas was 2.50! I like it so much that I bought my son a brand new 2021 Spark outfitted the same way. I was devastated to hear that GM will no longer sell them after 2022.

Service was done fast and efficient. I was told 45-60 minutes and done in 30 minutes. Service man was polite and knowledgeable. I was able to get on with my day quickly!

Bought it new. Taken several road trips with and no problems ever. I still own and drive it . Love the gas milage. I get 32 mpg around my town and upto 40mpg on open road. Cargo space is tricky. Only drawback is back seats will not flatten in order to extend cargo space.

I was surprised that I really like this car. I thought it was too small. But the back hatch storage was enough for my needs. The seats are much more comfortable than my little Vibe. I like driving right pass the gas stations too. I get great mileage. It is my favorite car to take to busy events, where parking may be an issue. It gets into tight spots easily. This is a commuter care so very good on city streets. When I'm on the highway, I keep looking for another gear. But It does drive the speed limit, so I am satisfied. This is a fun little car. I have had no mechanical issues.

avoid the automatic tranny and get the 5-speed stick! Fun, safe (better than the same year Honda Fit). I have 137K miles on mine with no major issues! I installed a coil-over suspension designed for this car and it handles better than my Mini Cooper. Not fast, but plenty fun with the manual tranny if you keep the revs up. 52mpg on the highway!! Hills are no problem!!!

This is a fuel efficient and modest car. It achieves 98hp has a 9 gallon tank and an automatic transmission. The LS has crank windows and old fashioned key-lock doors. You can haul a reasonable load in the back seat and hatch or even three other people, though it might be somewhat cramped. It appears to be designed for urban commuters, but I've driven it some decent distances and in all seasons now and it seems to up the challenge of all weather and (paved) terrains. The onboard technology (radio, backup camera, and internet connectivity--with Apple Play and Android Auto) is surprisingly good. Its small size makes it fit easily into small spaces. It was discontinued in 2022, so there should be parts for awhile and prices are coming down. If you need a second car, give this one some consideration.
