I bought a 2018 Traverse new. I still have it in 2025. I bought it because it was an inexpensive truck. I have to say that it really grew on me as I have owned it. It is very reliable. I had only 1 check engine light after 4 years and cheap to fix. It runs great! Its fast and has a super comfortable suspension and interior. The stereo has a really good sound. It holds a lot of cargo at Costco for me. I take beach trips (total 7) with my gf and 3 children and their friends and everybody fits! I also tow with it. My son has a 16 foot Boston Whaler that it pulls no problem. Strong at the boat ramp as well. This is a great versatile truck and I will probably buy another one after 10 years. I am very pleased 4 stars for this truck. Almost perfect. Improvements: I would like a better and bigger touch screen and real usb hook up in car.

After taking my 23 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali for a diagnostic service at the dealership where it was purchased I left there with no resolve; so I took it to Bob Howard GMC and I?m glad I did. Mark in the service dept. took a genuine interest in diagnosing my trucks issue and ultimately got it running like brand new. He gave some good information about the use of Top Tier gasoline and even recommended where I could buy it for a reasonable price which was great! I?m taking my truck to Bob Howard GMC from now on! I purchased the 2020 Traverse Premier Redline Edition brand new with only 50 miles and have no qualms about it. I did knock it down to four stars on performance due to its hesitation at yield signs when I accelerate after slowing down. If not at the perfect timing when in the yield, the vehicle will jerk or hesitate to go when I push the accelerator. Once the engine gets beyond that hesitation point, there is a decent amount of power in the acceleration. The hesitation is not a dealbreaker for me, however. Just annoying and can be dangerous if you are in a situation where you have minimal reaction time. Car and Driver said it best: "When parking or maneuvering at low speed, the Traverse feels every bit its size. Pick up the pace, however, and the big Chevy feels smaller than it is—poised, if not overtly athletic." If you're looking for a third-row seating option with second-row captain's chairs but are not the minivan type, much like myself, the Traverse is a great option. Rear cargo space is small, but if you think about it, you will lack impressive cargo space in a mid-size SUV if it has third-row seating. There's always the roof rack/cargo carrier option for storage. It's not bad, especially if a clutter-free interior on long road trips with the family is your forte. On the plus side, the lack of cargo space allows adults and teenagers to sit comfortably in the third row, and second-row passengers have an impressive amount of legroom. Other great interior options are the heated and cooled first and second-row seats. Backseat passengers can control their climate, from changing the temperature and fan speed to turning the entire system on or off, without changing the Driver's and front seat passenger's preferred climate. The Bose system is impressive. The clear audio quality, with the subwoofer under the front console, makes it sound like you're in a concert. If blasting the new age of music isn't your thing, that's cool. Classical music sounds just as impressive in this ride. Overall, I am pleased with this ride. I love getting in it every day. I receive a lot of compliments and looks. The sleek and sporty design of the Redline Edition with the black-on-white color is a head-turner! If you take care of your vehicles, they will last. The Traverse is no different. Never stretch out an oil change due date, and never turn down factory-recommended services. Avoid the quick lube places at all costs. No offense to them, many of them do great, but they work within parameters outside the scope of routine vehicle maintenance, such as tire rotations, factory-recommended inspections, and factory-recommended maintenance, depending on your vehicle mileage.

It's an excellent vehicle for larger families. I have six large adults that I haul around. Each and everyone has plenty of room to be comfortable. It seems to have more room than my Tahoe I traded in. It has good acceleration and handles well. I love the air-cooled and heated seats. It has a nice, solid ride. I am very happy with my Traverse. I traded in my 2021 GMC Acadia Denali, which I was very unhappy with.

Love this car! This is our 2nd Traverse. My wife loves it. I have 180,000 miles on it and still going strong. We will definitely be looking for our 3rd one. It has the most room of all SUV in its classs. The v-6 has very good power with lots of pickup.

Back in December 2020 we sent out inquiries to twelve Jeep dealers within 70 miles of Stillwater (our home). Only six bothered to reply. Of those six, your salesperson, Jennifer Medina, was by far the most enthusiastic and helpful. She sent us two separate videos introducing herself and wanting to take care of our Jeep purchase. Solely because of Jennifer, we recently purchased a new Jeep Sahara from John Vance Auto Group. Jennifer facilitated that purchase. We found the whole process to be quite satisfactory. The Jeep arrived just as we had ordered it, and was transferred to us for the price agreed upon. It appears to be functioning according to spec, and we are quite satisfied with it. We don't normally take the trouble to write a review, but what is really prompting us to do so now is the service provided to us by Jennifer. She was polite, friendly, and attentive on every occasion we dealt with her. When we had questions, she answered them directly and honestly. If she didn't know the answer, she stayed with it until she got one for us. When we took delivery on the vehicle, she suggested a time when she could spend some time with us going over all the things that have changed since our old Jeep. She didn't rush us--let us get the feel of it and ask questions--showed us all the fancy electronic and internet stuff and got answers to questions she wasn't sure of. She is still following up on some of those questions 2 weeks later--bless her. You couldn't have a better representative. Treat her well. She's a keeper.

I would purchase one of these I love this Mammoth SUV it has magnificent power the acceleration is so smooth and quick and the best part the stereo hits the speakers are nice it's a huge vehicle and I like the Simplicity in the interior and exterior design I'm also a sucker for the heated seats Chevy did it right with this vehicle I've been driving my mom's I've driven my friends Chevy Silverado is a nice truck my friends had a few equinoxes I've driven those not a huge fan but this Traverse has my heart

My 2018 Traverse is large enough that I (6'2") can get into and out of it with no problem. If I put the 2nd row of seats down, I can stretch out with room to spare. Averaged 29mpg on a 1400 mile trip in Sept. Has more power and better mpg than my 2012 did. If I get another car, it will once again be a Traverse if it is still available.

We worked with Ty and Cord. Both of them were lovely, and we would recommend them to anyone. We bought a used vehicle, but our experience was vastly different with Ty, than with other used car salespeople. She is exceptional, and your dealership is made better because of her. I would make the 2.5 hour drive to Norman, just to buy from her again. She is not pushy or slimy like other salespeople we talked to. She has a wonderful way about her- she is kind, funny, cheerful and honest. She seems eager to help, but in a way that engenders trust, familiarity and friendship. All salespeople working on commission should be more like Ty. We were so lucky to get to work with her.

Very spacious. Pleanty of room for the whole family. Great ride. Has alot of options. Climate control for each row of seat and usb ports for each row.

We have only had it a few days , Initial impression is good . Very comfortable to ride in and this is only the LS version . Probably the only midsize SUV with a V6 that you can still get for $33000 . V6 runs well , can't speak to the mileage yet as it isnt even broken in yet but should get 27-28 mpg out on the highway with a 9 speed auto . As of right now it shifts well . Really like the two tone interior . Has soft touch vinyl . Probably a few. spots on doors where the vinyl is a little hard and looks a little cheap it does not bother me . Exterior wise I like the LED headlights which seem to work well enough . Also like the LED DRL's which turn amber when you put the signal lights on . also has LED taillights and reverse lamps . Interior had LED reading lamps and interior lamps . The auto stop/start has a button to turn it off . This was a must for me . A deal breaker if it did not have it . It is down next to the shifter . The seats on mine are cloth , very nice lighter tan and the cloth is very tough material which should not wear out . Very happy with them and they are reasonably comfortable . The second row will recline a little though not as much as the first row . The second row is a bench type seat as this the LS version which is the cheapest one . Even this version has Blind spot and lane departure warnings, accident avoidance system,Lane keep assist Rear cross traffic alert . These aren't something I really wanted and will actually probably turn them off as I don't need the car manuvering the car on it's own . As far as long term reliability only time will tell . Initailly I see no issues with the car and everything seems to work though I havent really gone thru all features yet , I hope to get 10 years and 150000 miles out of this without a lot of trouble . Don't let me down Chevy .

I decided to go with the Chevy traverse and not the Chevy Tahoe.I own two Chevy Tahoe’s.And after the the problems we had with the engines and the traction control and stability control always popping on,I swear I would never buy another Tahoe.So we decided to go with the Chevy traverse and I was shocked at how much more room there was in the backseat compared to the Tahoe and right now so far so good

Nice car with a smooth drive, interior and some items could be improved when talking about a Premier version, as the back seat of drivers side does not lift for a 3 row passenger to get in. The one I bought unfortunately the rear camera and parking system was not working after a week, which I took to dealership for a warranty review, a new system was ordered, but so far it has not arrived yet after almost a month after and I still not have a date to when it will be fixed.

My 2020 Traverse is awesome .It is the best traverse I've owned yet . I love the quality of the interior and the color on the outside is beautiful. With all the upgrades it has I feel really proud when I drive my car somewhere. It definitely gives me a lot more confidence with all the safety features it has.

I bought the Traverse used, and I couldn’t be happier with this Chevrolet! The gas mileage is great for such a big vehicle! It’s smooth and Quiet, and does long distances very well! We went from Atlanta to Houston and got 29 mpg average combined driving! On some Texas roads it still rides a bit like a truck when sleeping in back, but so smooth and quiet when roads are not broken up!

I am giving this a five because Carla was so good to work with. The 2016 Forester was not a good experience. It road really rough and my wife hurt her back on the test drive. The radio did not work and the navigation system failed about halfway through the test drive. So, to sum it up. Our sales rep, Carla was great and the experience at the dealership was good, but the car we went to look at was kind of a disaster.

We were visiting family in OK and decided to drop by Joe Cooper Ford/Lincoln dealership in Edmond to browse the used cars on their lot. Malachi greeted us within a few minutes and he was he was very professional and friendly. We did find a car we liked but did not purchase it until we returned to Arkansas to do some research. We found that we could not beat the price anywhere including the Internet. So we called Malachi to tell him we wanted the car. We drove back (6 hours) to buy this car. The main reason was the royal treatment we received from this dealership. A few months later we were back in town to visit and stopped by Joe Cooper's to inquire about a manufacture recall on the car we purchased. The service department got our car in right then, took care of the repair, and washed and vacuumed our car within an hour. We did not request the wash and vacuum, that is just part of their great customer service. We can not say enough good things about this dealership. Someone was continually asking us if they could get us a beverage. The absolute best car buying experience ever!

What a nice smooth ride the Traverse gives you. Looks good, sounds good and has enough power to pull what I need. The look and technology are awesome. Be careful when you first drive it, it’s smooth enough to get you a ticket. If you’re thinking of an Explorer, go drive the 2 and 10 out of 10 times you’ll pick the Traverse.
