So far it has driven well and feels good. The mileage wasn't awful for the year it is. I've never owned a Chevy so I'm hoping there aren't many major issues.
I have enjoyed Silverados for 25 years. This is the 2nd worst truck I’ve owned. My next will be a dodge or ford. The price goes up but the quality goes down. At 40k catalytic converter went out. The dealer ship replaced it no problem. But that was as far as it went. They never checked the cause for it to go bad. Don’t know if I can trust them to correct the issue. This is a certified preowned. Why pay more money for a certified preowned? Just frustrating I don’t know if I can trust this truck for our family trip out west this summer
I have had my 2008 for one week now so OnStar and membership weren't included. Came with one key. Everything went great until i started the car so my husband could move it AND IT AUTO LOCKED THE DOORS!! That's right, car running, only set of keys in the ignition and the doors were locked!! I had to wreck the visor on the driver's side and spend a half hour fishing around with a curtain rod to unlock the car!! What kind of car locks you out AFTER you've started the car with the doors unlocked?!?

It has everything that I need in a work vehicle Space Looks and Reliability. The interior provides plenty of leg room and comfort. The exterior provides the Professional Look that I was in the market for.
I purchased this truck new in December 2012. Its a 2013 Silverado 1500 4x4 Reg Cab LS with 4.8L engine. Currently 190,000 miles. Until last month, I've only performed recommended maintenance as outlined in owners manual. All maintenance performed by dealer. At 185,000 miles replaced right front hub +- $700.00. Outside of scheduled maintenance that's it for 185K miles. Paint and interior still look great! Very reliable, well built truck. Still getting 18MPG consistently for 190K miles. Very good traction offroad - which accounts for 20 percent of my driving.
I bought my LT Z71 with a 131000 miles in 2015. I got a good deal on it that's why I got it. I put 49000 miles in 42 months and still runs and drives great. I'm very pleased with this truck. Mechanical issues none.
I have had my 2011 Silverado 1500 Max Tow 4x4 Extended Cab since it was new. This truck has never let me down and never fails to put a smile on my face when I need it to do something new or challenging. One of the most comfortable long-haul vehicles I have ever owned. Power to spare (6.2 liter engine) and reasonable gas mileage (average of 15.8 mpg over 65,000 city and highway miles). My local Chevrolet Dealership does all of the routine maintenance and I have never had any problems, small or large, with this truck. As reliable as the proverbial Swiss Watch.
