It's unfortunate the previous owners of the recent reviews had terrible ownership experiences . I have used this car for nearly four years without a single problem. Fun to drive, very spirited, great gas mileage, and outstanding handling at highway speeds. At 95,000 miles, no squeaks, wind noise, or rattles. its still very solid. Would highly recommend if you find a well cared for one. My only complaint is you would be hard pressed to fit four ave. size people at one time. But on the plus side it can fit in small spaces.

I bought my 2012 Equinox used, with 30,000 miles. I was able to get 201,000 before trading. Lots of little mechanical issues and replacing parts after 150,000. AC stopped blowing out of vents... that is a $900 fix. But engine overall was good and she never needed a transmission!

We simply take very good care of "PIP" as we call him, and he has and does take very good care of us. The key is keep up with all of the maintance before it is needed! This was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership. I went in to look at a truck that had a recall so it could not be purchased at that time. After discussing my requirements for a new/used vehicle with Brad Harrison (sales man) we found a truck that had just come in that I liked. Brad started the process of buying that vehicle with me and did an amazing job with details. Throughout our contact during the entire process he was very quick to respond with the many questions I had. He helped me along through the process and let me know more about the vehicle as they had not yet taken it through their service department to get checked for problems it may have. My 2014 Equinox LTZ has over 200,000 miles on it. Been the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned including a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Will buy Equinox again.

I have owned the car for about 15 months. It is a good car. There is an issue with burning a little oil. This is a known issue. I almost traded it in when I realized the oil consumption issue, but I stuck with it. I add almost a quote every two gas fill ups. I purchased it with 62,000 miles. I am a salesman and I put nearly 30,000 miles on it in the past 15 mos. Mostly highway. I had to repack the bearings in the rear wheels. This set me back about $1,200. Not good. Other than that, the car has been fine. I plan on driving it another year.

I bought this 2500 van I have found it to be a great Vehicle, the Power of the engine to the cabin controls, gas mileage is great for me haven't had long but plans on wearing it out or being my vehicle to drive.

I bought my Equinox new off the lot in 2015 to be my winter driving car. I’ve had it for 10 years, and have driven it 60 miles round-trip in some of the worst winter weather in the lower 48 states. The Equinox held the road well on ice, in slush, and in deep snow on days that I was on the road before the snow plows. It has always been reliable and has never left me stranded. I’ve had no major issues in over 107,000 miles. I appreciate the cargo space which is much better than the newer models. I regularly recommend Equinoxes to my friends and family.

I leased my 2015 Chevy Trax (basic trim) new on March 2025 as my 21st birthday present to myself. Since it’s my first official first car purchase, I was on top of my maintenance. I’ve already taken it to a lot of road trips and decided to own it October 2018. Took it to more road trips ever since. The issues I had on it has been the AC. I did a whole 100k service on it as well, and have had to replace the spark plugs. Otherwise, the engine is still running great on me and now at 110K+ ! I am looking to replace this car at some point in the near future though since I’m growing out of it already. But I’m super happy with this car (I named my Trax as Trixie) as it has been reliable on me most of the time. It was fun to drive in my 20s and I personally love the handling on it as well. I’m driving my 2015 Trax till it completely dies on me. Would be a nice surprise if it gives me another 50-100K+ miles— we shall see!

Found our car at a local Toyota dealership. Great service. Was looking for Low mileage and a newer car. Great gas mileage also. Paid car off, but didn't get any deal for doing that was hoping to get free oil changes like my son did.

I bought a 2016 Cruze Limited brand new in December 2015 and just this week parted ways with it at 100k miles. This was a great little car that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again! The interior is comfortable and roomy and for the price, it has all the tech that you really need. Like most cars, it started needing more than the regular maintenance when it started getting close to 100k miles, but it’s still a reliable car and a great value. If you’re truly looking for a car to get you from A to B with a little extra in the way of amenities and you don’t have a complex about impressing people you don’t know with things you can’t afford, this car is a wonderful option.

My purchasing experience was great. I called Bryan a few days before I came asking about a specific pickup. He answered all of my questions and sent me the auto check report by email. I called the morning I went to the dealership to confirm the truck was still there and it was. The other salesperson informed me that he had it washed and pulled inside ready for me to take a test drive. We had a four hour drive that was well worth it. When we arrived were were greeted and shown the vehicle. Bryan grabbed the dealer plates and we were off on a test drive. There was no pressure and we came home with a great pickup. My 2013 Tahoe LTZ w/ 143k miles is the best Chevy vehicle I’ve owned yet, for the last 20k miles I’ve owned it’s been very reliable, has never left me stranded. the only thing I do not care for is the afm to drop into 4 cyl mode, putting trans into manual 5 works like a charm to keep all 8 cylinders running up to 60mph. Working on these vehicles yourself is really easy for routine maintenance (except for the transmission), I’ve replaced a lot of stuff and fresh tune up on mine because she’s getting up there in mileage and I want to make sure she is going to be a top performer for the long run. Overall 9/10 recommend this Vehicle

I bought this car with 8,900 miles, I have put over 15,000 on it, it sits around 30,500 miles now I haven’t had any issues with it at all and is been driven in long distances from Texas to Montana and so on Now I doo get a few people say this car is crap and unreliable But this one is different, I recommend this car 100%

This car meets all my needs and I Love it! Lots of room! Still learning some of the controls but will get it down. Smooth ride for sure.

My visit to the Honda/Nissan dealership was quite pleasant. I contacted Luke Wandling over email, asking a few questions about a car I was interested in taking a look at. When I entered the dealership, he was right there to greet me. He was very friendly, kind, and helpful. Throughout the process, he made it easy and pleasant. In the end, I didn’t end up buying that car as it had more things to fix than I could afford. But Luke handled this news very well, and said we’d be in touch in the future if need be.

I really liked my LTZ. I will admit that I had some issues, but I took care of it. The only mistake I made was not putting a Remanufactured engine in it after it had a head gasket repair. I drove it hard. Even with the issues I had. I would buy it again. I would get an Endurance Extended warranty. I had no issues with the transmission. I did have two window motors go out though. I had 188K miles on it. The reason I go rid of it was. I had an oil smell in it even after I had it repaired and the mechanic could not find it.

In 2012 bought our USED 2010 HHR Chevrolet (an American Greetings' fleet car) from local N. Olmsted, OH. dealer. Perfect for DELIVERING our Bakery's very large wedding cakes, etc., & everyday family errands, & great for camping (its' cargo roof is a bonus too). Looked EVERYWHERE trying to find a ROOMY & FLAT cargo floor w/back seats easily lowered for our cake business! Had to be a "multi-useable" business & family one car! FINALLY found this beautiful HHR! A real workhorse. Feels like a Cadillac! Good low mpg gas cost. Maintenance is minimal. Best all around car we've ever had. It's still our 100% reliable transportation 24x7. Highly recommended.

Very knowledgeable and fair. I went to about 10 different places to drive cars and I could tell they knew more about the cars they were selling than anyone else I talked to. They will be my first stop any time I shop for a car in the future.

This is a fuel efficient and modest car. It achieves 98hp has a 9 gallon tank and an automatic transmission. The LS has crank windows and old fashioned key-lock doors. You can haul a reasonable load in the back seat and hatch or even three other people, though it might be somewhat cramped. It appears to be designed for urban commuters, but I've driven it some decent distances and in all seasons now and it seems to up the challenge of all weather and (paved) terrains. The onboard technology (radio, backup camera, and internet connectivity--with Apple Play and Android Auto) is surprisingly good. Its small size makes it fit easily into small spaces. It was discontinued in 2022, so there should be parts for awhile and prices are coming down. If you need a second car, give this one some consideration.

My wife and I both have 2009 HHR’s. Hers is black with only 85,000 km on the clock she got hers used 7 years ago with only 65,000 km. Only repairs (other than oil changes and routine maintenance as per owners manual) have been front rotors which I upgraded to drilled and slotted rotors and just replaced the rear shocks. We tow hers behind our motorhome.She just loves her HHR. My HHR is a cool little Panel in metallic grey. I have had mine for 5 years with mileage at 145,000 km and it now has 255,000 Km. Just upgraded my front brakes to the drilled/slotted rotors and new rear shocks. Other than regular oil changes and routine maintenance I have had no issues with this little beast. Both cars are garage kept and never driven in the snow (have an old school Jeep for winter (1989 Jeep Cherokee we have owned for 26 years). I would recommend the HHR to any one looking for a nice little vehicle - both of have the automatic transmission and without a word of a lie we are getting between 29 and 31 mpg which is great 👍
