I bought a 2009 model in 2021, with 150k on the clock. Soon after, I had to replace the throttle body, the thermostat, the water pump, the brakes, and tires ( duh ) and the battery, and the front catalytic converter and the oil cooler, all fluids, bled the brakes, etc... ...I paid 3500.00 for it, and put a few thousand in it....BUT, it went 150k without any maintenance apparently...I took a chance and didn't replace the timing belt...so far so good, no carfax records...it runs and drives well, and it has been a great commuter for my wife, and I can say that it has more than paid for itself many times...way cheaper than a new car, but I am a pretty good mechanic so, ...don't be afraid of this little car...easy to work on...straight forward...transmission is great.

I bought a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT with 89000 miles roughly every light you can think of on the dashboard was lit up to the guy just want to get rid of it so he sells me for 500 bucks I bought it cause my niece also had the same make and the same year but her car only had 79,000 mi but she didn't think it was I don't know fast enough or what the color maybe cuz hers was yellow so I bought it off her for $1,000 cause she had the money for the car that she wanted and she really didn't care about how much she could get maximum for her car so she said $1,000 I said so plus you know all the closing fees and all that so what I did was did an engine swap I did I'd say about 40% of the engine swap and my niece's husband did the other 60% and swap and it worked out perfectly the 2.2 ecotec engine that's it Chevy made was a very easy swap and they easy to work on and everything like that anyhow I drove that car from 79000 MI at the age of 20 to roughly 256,000 MI I never had a serious engine transmission breakdown I had to get a new exhaust because I hit a rock and it punctured a hole in my old exhaust so I had to buy a new one but I changed the oil on it every 3,000 miles with synthetic high mileage Pennzoil every 3k miles cuz that's what the handbook said I should ever see something on I should change the engine oil in my car I definitely spent more money in engine oil and filters cuz I do my own oil changes on all my vehicles held I think a little less than 5 quarts every time I just had to buy a 5 quart borrow a pennzo and oil filter change a couple of times and find out that this oil phone is better than anything and all that so it wasn't always the same but I never had an ending problem transmission problem or anything the car ran perfect for the time I had it until the time I saw it to buy a 2012 Toyota Camry I bought it was the most reliable midsize car and it was in my price range I basically paid $1,500 for the Cobalt couldn't tell you how much for the exhaust repair the brakes calipers the bigger meeting you in the car but I got $2,500 for the car from a guy I was asking for $3,000 because it never had a problem I told him everything about it he said no problem how about 2500 I said you got à deal. We took the car to the thing to change ownership and all that other crap you know that cost a couple hundred dollars to do and that same day I went and picked up the Toyota Camry roughly 3 hours after I sold the Cobalt at 10:00 in the morning and I have not had any major issues with the Camry so far it has 179,000 MI no lights are on shifts good drives good can't complain just like I couldn't complain about the couple I still talk to the guy every now and again he still owns the car it has 393,000 MI I asked if he had any major issues except for you know normal stuff like changing the oil brake pads calipers stuff like that and he said nope he said it's been smooth never had a problem it's just right now I'm not driving it because I don't have a license cuz I ain't got a DUI in it but parade Chief and a compact car sure had a nice 393,000 MI no major breakdowns just your everyday upkeep I think I did pretty good for $1500 and I think he did pretty good for $2,500 I paid $7,500 for the camry and I just must be looking except I've had no music phones at either and I use it everyday for work and for if I need to go to the store or something like that but that's my story and that's why I give it a 5 out of five I've heard so many horror stories about to come off I think it's mainly because people don't keep the car correctly by you know changing the oil change in brake pads caliper struts all that stuff when they go to bed the reason my niece is cars agencies that was good she never changed the oil in it she drove it like 28,000 miles without ever changing oil in it and it seized up her engine that is but I had a good deal in the end.

It was was a good 3.1L V-6 had it for about 3 years than up traded for a new 2001 Malibu LS same engine but a little more HP(was a litter car than the Lumania). Had much fun driving it in SoCal. Was my 3rd to last car(all Chevy’s), Stopped driving in 2007. Last car was a 2005 Malibu Base model with standard SoCal equipment package.

I bought a 2011 w/ 7k miles and now have 163k miles. Very few issues new water pump 5 years ago, 2 brake jobs, synthetic oil changes every 3k miles, replaced windshield wiper motor. Very good vehicle for the $. Buying slightly used saved me $7k.

We bought a sonic lt with a 1.4 turbo engine, great gas mileage and no major problems. As long as you keep up the maintenance the reliability is great.

I had no idea how stressful moving could be until I attempted it on my own. Thankfully, these movers saved the day. 2011 and 179,000 miles still running strong. Main repairs, some under warranty Expect your power steering pump to leak. Fixed 2x. 2nd time had to pay to replace new p. steering pump and rack assembly. $1200. Water pump leaked, needed replacing at 80k. $500 Valve cover gaskets leak. Engine runs strong, up to 21mpg highway. Transmission is smooth. Replaced all struts and shocks myself at 120k. ,$400 for all fr Amazon. Replaced all rotors and pads 2x in 179,000. Did myself at home. Rotors are $50 each doe AC Delco Silver ( Made in China) Pads are $60 for all 4 ceramic pads. YouTube has tons of videos on how to do brakes. Tuned up myself with Iridium plugs. Need a special spark plug wrench. Plugs are deep inside engine. Replaced all 6 spark coils myself for $80. Total tune-up with air & pcv filter less than $200. Interior still looks great. Most comfortable seats I've had. Exterior tricoat white pearl paint still glistening. Cooper tires last 75k on this car. Goodyear Fortrera stock tires noisy after 20k. Blowout at 30k. Auto VSC auto stabilze worked perfect. Keep car straight after blowout at 75moh.

As to the vehicle, I purchased a 2007 Acura TL Type S that was priced $2500 below NADA retail value (23% below value). I usually love the haggling process, but with a car priced almost a quarter below NADA retail value, I didn't even bother haggling. The price was MORE than fair and the car was in pristine condition. The buying process was EASY considering I'm self-employed and my taxes don't quite show all of my income, if you know what I mean. So it was a challenge for Matt to get me approved. He worked on it for an entire day, calling me to ask me for bank statements, tax returns, etc. He went to bat for me and was able to get me approved with a local credit union instead of some high interest, high risk lender. The interest rate he was able to get me was also pretty fair. Of course it's not 1.99%, but it wasn't 24% either. In fact, it was a lot closer to 1.99% than it was 24%. This was my first time dealing with them. In fact, I had never even heard of them. It was merely by chance that I was driving by and saw the car I wanted on their lot. But I would recommend them to anyone. They were personable, they were honest with me about my situation, but most of all I felt like they really cared and they really went to bat for me. Never did I feel like they were "sleazy used car salespeople" like I've felt at other lots. It felt like I was working with a friend or a neighbor.

Purchased my 2002 extended cab 4 x 4 2500 HD new in 2002, it now has just over 200,000 miles and has the 8.1 L gas motor I’ve never even had to put brakes on it i.e. absolutely love this truck are use mobile one synthetic oil and it’s never giving me any trouble, if I had it to do over again the only thing I would do different is purchase a crew cab instead of the extended cab this is definitely the best I have ever owned and I have been the owner of many As I am 74 years young

The really is the most reliable truck I've ever owned. Every truck I've ever owned was in the shop at one time or another, for various reasons. Since I've owned it, it has never had any issues, and only needed maintenance work done.

I own a 2000 ZR2 Blazer 4.3 auto w/auto 4x4. So far, it's been a great rig. Solid. Nice to look at. A bit underpowered, but fine for me. Mine has 119k original miles and has been very well cared for. Gas mileage isn't great compared to newer rigs, but fine for me as I don't put a ton of miles on. It's very comfortable in the front and rear. The original Bose stereo system is surprisingly loud and clear with all the factory speakers still working fine. If you are looking for a fun, comfortable, solid rig, you can't beat it!

I drove my parents trailblazer for 2 years covering approx. 300 miles a week going to tech school with 160,000 miles on the vehicle already. I put on about 30,000 miles in total. This vehicle had the original spark plugs and boots in it and started giving me issues at about 186,000 miles. It NEVER stranded me. That on it's own, makes it an amazing vehicle. The only other parts I had to get replaced was a transmission line that rusted out, idle pulley belt, brakes/calipers, and the spark plugs and boots. Highly recommend this beast of a suv.

I've own my 06 Monte Carlo LTZ with a V*6.. 3.9 for about 5 yrs. Now purchased it with 39,000 miles on it.. it has over 1112,000 miles and it runs like a Champ.. No check engine lights whatsoever.. No leaks.. got gaskets replaced.. I want to upgrade to an SS.. so I am seeing what's out there.. although steering wheel sounds kind of dry.. they are fun cars to drive and i get a lot of compliments

We interacted with 3 of the salesmen and always felt they were being as upfront as possible. They were clear about the salvage title; they had a nicely compiled folder with before pictures and detail of the previous damage. After we had it inspected at a separate repair shop, they agreed to do an alignment which was recommended at no extra cost. There was NOTHING else wrong with the vehicle after a 2 hour check by our auto mechanic. Very personable and honest people to deal with.
