We had the 2018 before this 2023 for 3years and it was amazing other than regular maintenance we put a battery in it that's it. Loved the car took us everywhere without fail very reliable. Has a mean punch with the 4-cylinder but it's the turbo Tranny makes it mean. It goes when you need to! Nice style looks classy and sporty. We got grey metallic paint it looks purple! We love this car too, a lot like our old one but new features for sure driving assistance features crash prevention, and new car deck bigger and better could use a lot more bass lol. But great sound without good bass. Malibu's are being discontinued so the wife and I will be looking at a impala next ride purchase as we fell hard for Chevy Period!

We were shopping for a used car for my son. My wife found the car online and spoke to Rick about it. He brought it into town for us to look at from their Lansing store himself since they were short on drivers. The online pictures represented the car very well! When I looked at the car in person it was very clean...nice detail job by the dealer. Rick looked at it with me and openly pointed out minor flaws and discussed them with me. Drove it and discussed price. The listed price was very good and they came down a bit off of that! I bought the car and couldnt be happier. Owner of a 2020 Model for 3 yrs. We only bought it because of the color. Crimson Cayan Metallic. Black Interior. Ours is an LT FWD model. It has a few options which I'm going to say were nice but coming from a Cadillac as a daily driver, it still lacking certain touches my 08 DTS had. Heated Steering is almost a absolute requirement these days. Northern Midwest winters while fairly mild can pack a bit of punch sometimes. But this car had heated seats so i forgave it's fault this time and just bought driving gloves. Its reliability is unfaltering. I'm only at 52K and just now starting to look for tires and brakes for it. I feel like i have driven the wheels off this thing for $30 a week and regular oil changes. Android Auto has been a has been a gift. what system integration. We are on the hunt for a newer model now with more toys in it. But we have decided to keep the Equinox as a backup car. She wont let me Let her go.

I have been going to Wayland for a long time, and have always had a good experience with service and the people are awesome.

I have done several long trips, 2 cross-country trips and in town commuting. It is a smooth comfortable ride, easy layout for gauges and controls, roomy, holds tons of cargo, and has great fuel economy (I have gotten up to 38 mpg on the highway going 70mph). All of these were listed in the "bad"- and this has not been my experience. Furthermore, my dad was side-swiped hit and run on the 210 freeway at 80 mph in his equinox and it took it like a champ. It is an easy smooth ride, I feel safe. I strongly recommend this vehicle- really the best bang for the buck- you get way more than you pay for.

I want people to know what a great buying experience I had at this dealership. I contacted 4 dealerships about 4 different cars, and Yassin F. was the only one that contacted me by phone, instead of a "canned" email. Yassin was so helpful and ran all over this large dealership (in the rain) to make sure things were just right. I would use Yassin again 100%. We bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4 cylinder. Pre owned with about 59k miles. It’s over 110k and we’ve had the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter replaced. Also 1 tire sensor. We’ve put the 2nd set of tires on the car yesterday. Always Michelin as recommended and brake shoes. I just have to say I still love my car. It’s paid for and I’ll drive her as long as I can.

I bought my leased Malibu back in 2021 and haven't had a problem with it since then. A few things to know. I used to drive to another state for work every day. Now I only drive about an average of 6-7 miles daily. This, car for what I intended, has been good to me. I work in a chevy service department and see it all. If you're the type that is looking for your car to share some characteristics of vehicles like BMW, don't bother buying this. The CVT has a bulletin from GM that says trans may feel like it's slipping, you may feel hesitations in trans, and a list of other hard to swallow symptoms, but it's ok. The CVT is functioning normally and improve fuel economy these symtoms may appear but it is not a problem. I have had many people overreact and bring the vehicle to me after someone they paid to replace their transmission messed up. It worked fine for a bit but now the car is compromised. I almost overreacted too, but once you get used to the car you realize you're fine. If you believe there's an issue someone out there will take your money to "fix" your problem. My thoughts, it's a good car. I stay on top of my oil changes and recommended maintenance. My only regret is I need all wheel drive where I'm moving and may need to replace it.

We felt comfortable after meeting them that the sale of the vehicle was not the end, but the beginning of a good relationship where the dealership as a whole seems to be genuinely determined to make the experience a positive one in every aspect. Go ahead and shop around if you think you need to, but I would not recommend buying a vehicle until you have visited with the the good people down at Dorrance ford. If you end up not buying a vehicle from them at least you will have met some good people who are passionate about doing their job well.

Overall I love This. Chevy truck. Aside from the minor issues that Chevy should have taken care of long ago Such as Intermittent transmission failureThat cost me $3100 at 60000 miles. And the power train output that could have been much more which I enhance using a super chip program that Actually woke this engine up the 5.3 by the way. And they should have long eliminated the active fuel management. But after all these issues I love the Chevy truck come on Jim get it together stop producing better track 2 better trucks less recalls don't make me jump Ship !

2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

To start with, these folks are quite selective about their inventory, so they only sell good quality cars. On top of that, they are so friendly, honest and reasonable that you feel more like you’re buying from family than from a used car salesman. Also, they stand behind their cars with a 30 day guarantee. Finally, I have never seen a cleaner used car then the one my daughter just bought there!

Bought new in January 2014. So far it's been a reliable car. It's been back to the shop twice in almost 11 years for a leaking transmission line & a emission issue. Other than two recalls it's been good. Of course, I'm only at 67,676 miles. Oh, I forgot I had to replace the front two struts. When it was wet outside while turning I would get some vibration. Dealer had a TSB on it, the cost was 1,500 dollars. But overall the car has been fairly reliable. It's been quiet, roomy, comfortable and has decent power.
