Excellent value for the price. Do not purchase this vehicle without the active exhaust option. The fake vents are disappointing but otherwise the car is perfect.

This car exceeded all of my expectations! It is an M-Sport and has the optional M-Power package and is a mini M4! Fun to drive, hardtop convertible for those summer afternoons and has all the features of a modern BMW.

Prompt reply to my inquiry by 2 salespersons working together. They were polite, knowledgeable and personal. The dealership had a broad range of high end vehicles to look at and all had good reviews of vehicle specifications and complete Carfax reports ( all were clean!). Great group to work with!

This does NOT refer to either my dealer's sales or service departments, both of which are excellent. But I have to relate that a life-of-the-car part, the steering control module, failed at only 8,500 miles, and as luck would have it, just after the new car warranty expired. It required two visits and over $1400 to repair. I've not heard anything from Mercedes about even a partial reimbursement- not that I really expect anything.

I have been driving BMW since my first 320i in "79" I sold my 2004 645ci 6 speed with 123K miles for top dollar, & purchased this beauty. I love the way this car handles with the M & executive packages. The six cylinder with the single turbo has plenty of pep. The first day I put the temporary plates on it I had two different people approach me to inquire about the car. With only 25K miles on the odometer this Florida car rides like a brand new one. No more shifting which is delightful for my two new hips.....

Our experience with Atlas was extremely positive. We ended up purchasing an older Civic located elsewhere, but the 2019 Civic that we viewed and test-drove at Atlas was in excellent condition, and Dan (the sales manager) was extremely proactive and helpful. I would highly recommend Atlas to anyone looking for a reliable used car (Atlas specializes in BMW's but occasionally accepts other brands such as Honda on trade in).

I've had my M roadster for two months now. Every time I get in the car, the corners of my mouth turn up to my ears and my heart leaps into my throat. I drive like it's stolen. I've topped it out on the turnpike and I don't often take a corner without a little smoke coming off the tires. Okay, sometimes a lot of smoke. At 155, the ride is smooth as glass and handling is effortless. Don't worry about the small calipers; braking from 155 to 75 (for an SUV changing lanes without a signal) is gentle as an ocean breeze; electronic assistance keeps the car quite nimble. The suspension is outstanding. I was racing (actually smoking like a fat ham) a Nissan something-Z and hit a nice dip in the road...well...more like a ramp. All four tires came up! The M handled that just as gracefully. It's always ready for the driver's next request and executes commands with flawless precision. And the exhaust note is simply beautiful! Love it or hate it: Full throttle; let it all hang out-- LOVE IT! Try to take it easy; kid gloves -- still love it, just not as much. Drop the top, crank the tunes and cruise xxxx-style. When trying to behave myself around town, I've found it doesn't take sharp corners; it wallows through them. Only when you break the back tires loose does it perform smoothly. The CG seems to be nicely balanced fore and aft, but is definitely TOO HIGH! The angles between the friction points and the CG have a large effect on body roll and in a turn the forces induced on the tires are not symmetrical. This causes the back end to roll a little more than the front. Inertia carries the rear end forward and the high CG shifts slightly to the rear and side opposite the turn; more so than it would if it were lower. This reduces downforce on the front tires and increases their slip angle. All of that adds up to understeer. Break the rear tires loose and their slip angle catches up to the front tires. You're on your way around the corner. Don't let my complaints about cornering overshadow the incredible car this is. I'm just spoiled by the '99 Miata (still the best handling car I've ever driven). Overall, and in every other respect, the M is the exemplar roadster (albeit a bit of a brute). Lots of luxury, badass power plant, precision engineering and tremendous flash! (Bling! Bling!)

2016 BMW 228i xdrive convertible. The best part: reliability. We are approaching 94k miles and we've had no issues with this car. It feels solid, which is remarkable for a convertible. Everything works just as it should with just routine maintenance. I have only three complaints: the sport seats are my number one complaint. The seat has great lumbar support and is supportive, but the side bolsters on the seat cushion are rock hard and hurt my hips. I have to use a pad to raise myself up a little to ease the pain. The 2nd complaint, and this is worth noting, in comfort mode the throttle can be slow to react. This is so bad it got me rear ended once because the car simply did nothing for several seconds when I pressed the pedal down. Sport mode cures this. Lastly, it requires premium gas. Ford and others get similar horsepower results with regular gas, so I think BMW should be able to also.

I have bought 3 vehicles from Atlas over the past 5 years - and I will buy my next one there too. Everyone there is a upfront and honest. The service department is incredible and extremely reasonable rates.

I am in love with my "new" 2007 si roadster convertible. The stock exhaust and engine have such a great sound. Performance output is just enough to excite and feed your senses for speed. If you want more speed get a dragster and race it at a local dragstip. In my eyes BMW truly built a great machine the Z4 is already a sought after classic sports car for the auto enthusiast!

My first car was a triumph spitfire. I am a huge fan of the two seat roadster. I'm an even bigger fan of a hardtop convertible. I am not a BMW fanboy. I wish this car were not a BMW. I bought it because it's beautiful and when I drove it, it made me freaking happy. 300 plus horsepower, I've never even felt the need to put my manual transmission 35i in sport or sport Plus mode. The thing is gorgeous top up or down, a blast to drive, and often over neglected is that all four Windows go down making it a pillarless coupe with the top up. Flawlessly reliable in 14,000 miles, cockpit is tight if you put it on a few extra pounds. Such a beautiful beautiful car. Mine's a 2014, and every single time I go out someone comments about it. Unfortunately, when you're driving it people aren't as friendly because it's a BMW. Best roadster I've ever owned in a very long line of roadsters

I absolutely love this car. My only wish is that I can find a Hard Top to put on it at a reasonable price. But I still love this car. I am sorry but I do. It puts a smile on my face. And I didn't have to pay a fortune for it either. It still looks like new, and it drives great, and it handles excellent. It is the Torch Red w/Black Ink Interior. And this is to the guy that says the 3.9 engine is underpowered, you are nuts, this thing screams down the highway, not that I am a speed demon, but it does. I don't know what else to say about this Thunderbird, but I wish I had bought one many years ago. Nuff said.

Fantastic customer service, on the phone and in person. Saw the car on-line in Central Florida and was contacted by Dan in a timely manner. He answered all my questions and was very professional. I flew up to Raleigh the next day and Dan arranged for transportation from the airport. Met with Dan and Dave at the dealership and was very impressed with them, a font of information about the car. Drove my 1995 Jaguar XJS off the lot after an hour, very happy with the purchase. Great drive back to Florida with the top down! I'd been driving 328i's for over 10 years but always wanted an M3.  I only wanted an E92/S-65 version and took my time to find the right one.  I found it two years ago (in 2018) at a dealership 900 miles away from where I live:  It was a 2013 with only 27,800 miles on it.  I flew down to check it out.  It was Space Grey and had the competition package and cold weather package.  Another interesting feature I discovered when I got there, was that it also had the Dinan exhaust system as well.  The dealer never mentioned that and the web pictures never showed it.  He had no idea of the added value.  The car was spotless and I was impressed. The test drive sealed the deal.  What a machine. I felt I stole it for $34,000.  It has the 7 speed dual clutch tranny.  I've always driven sticks, and my previous 328's were all sticks, but at 61 years of age, and with the idiot drivers in NC, I actually preferred a slushbox at this point.  The dual clutch tranny is outstanding.  The shifts are tighter than anything I could ever do with the manual, but if I want to go into sport mode, I can do it grabbing the console shifter or by tapping the paddles.   While the M3 is more known for its speed, it is also incredibly comfortable to drive.  The leather seats are well cushioned and just hug you from the side.  I have a bad back, and driving this home from Miami to NC straight through, I had no additional pain at all by the end of the trip.  The interior trim is fairly simple  but well appointed.  Mine has the wood grained dash, and also has the rear window power sun screen.  Also has the recessed GPS and the premium sound system.  This car is the last of a rare breed - a naturally aspirated V-8 with a sound that is simply glorious.  It has three tones: a low smooth rumble at idle, a growl with normal acceleration, and an absolute roar if you jump on it.  According to my 21 year old son (who owns my previous 328i coupe), I drive it too gently, though he's  not always with me.  :-)  I let him drive it a couple of times and his face lit up as he put it through its paces in sport mode.  I probably do drive it too easy most of the time.  I don't track it, but I've certainly had some fun with it.  It is nice to know I have the power there when I want it, especially on the interstate.  Going into "M" mode is a real treat.  The car just takes off like a rocket and it pins you to the rear of the seat.  It's handling is firm, but not uncomfortable, and it takes corners with ease. Beyond its power and handling, this is simply a beautiful car with incredible lines, my favorite being the flared rocker panels.  I originally figured I'd keep it for a couple of years until I "got it out of my system".  I still haven't, and can't imagine I ever will.  I still look forward to driving this every day.  The newer M3's are admittedly even faster, but they sound like crap.  I rarely even listen to music in mine.  The sound of the S-65 engine as it goes through its paces is like a symphony to me. It now has 55,000 miles on it, and those are predominately interstate and back road miles to and from work.  I'm getting ready to retire, so the yearly mileage will be even less now.  I don't plan to sell it.  It's just too much fun to drive.   I recommend this car wholeheartedly.  As the last of the naturally aspirated M cars, is destined to be a classic and I believe it will hold its value very well.

I have two Jaguars. The first a 2001 XK8, I bought in 2015 from the original owner. The 2nd, a 2007 XK, I bought after the original owner traded it in to a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped to me in Alabama. Both are a similar Pacific Blue, the 07 being Indigo Blue, slightly darker. The 01 has Ivory interior, the 07 has beige. The 01 has quite a bit of recurring maintenance from a host of items that needed redesigning, which was accomplished on the 07. Everything needed was done. The big differences between the two cars is trunk space and cabin space. The 07 Cabin accommodates a taller person where the trunk on the 01 would hold a VW Beetle and easily close. I redesigned the 01 upper shock mounts and rebuilt the mounts with new polyurethane bushings that should outlast me. I have replaced them with OEM 3 times since 2015. That chirping sound you hear is the shock mounts, metal to metal chirping. Anyway, the 01 XK8 is a nice automobile that needs near constant attention. The 07 XK is a Super Luxury GT sports car that is easy to maintain and so far, bulletproof. Nothing that I have driven in it's class compares equally. Everything else has a harsher ride and are regular sports cars. I have owned Corvettes, BMW's, Acura's, Mercedes and Porsche's. None compare. So far, I've had people compliment me on my Miata (the 01) and Corvette (both the 01 & the 07)... Jaguar is a brand of only a few in my location... very rare and no one knows what it is... up close, they just can't read, I guess. The guy was staring at the Jaguar emblem when he called it the best looking Miata he had ever seen. LOL!

Difficult to separate the good and bad. In the end I bought the car. I think he is a generally honest guy who is trying to be fair. I don't think he'd purposely hide problems or patch up a failed car. That is of highest importance. My problem is there were a lot of issues with the car not disclosed in the listing. Check your car carefully! To his credit he disclosed the failing clear coat by sending me an excellent video before I traveled (a long way) to the dealership. Maybe inadvertently he disclosed problems with the headliner in the video. When I got there the battery was dead so he explained there was a parasitic load (still not resolved) that kills the battery in a couple days and he pointed out it had the wrong battery (which he replaced when we negotiated price). A tire was nearly flat and he noted it had a leak. If he were dishonest surely the tire would have been full and the battery charged when I showed up and he wouldn't have pointed out the wrong size battery (didn't fit tray). What I found includes: Two tires were good and two have almost no tread. The key fob remote doesn't work and when I bought and installed a new battery it still didn't. Since buying it I've gotten two estimates for fob replacement of $700 and $410. Hopefully I'll find one a little lower. I've also found the wiper blades need replaced, interior lights by the rear-view mirror don't work, and a film on the rear window (rear defroster I believe) is all bubbled and also not clear where unbubbled. Other than snow on the car when I test drove, I'm not sure how I missed this last one. Finally, there is an undisclosed admin fee of $500. He said nobody in NC discloses this on web listings. Maybe but it doesn't make it right.

Standing at 6'4, my biggest surprise is fitting in the car and being comfortable. It's a sporty car with potential. The only downside is the response. On low speeds it bucks and almost idles between gears. If you floor it, there's a crazy 3 second delay for the engine to realize it should GO. When it does finally GO, it really GOES.
