2024 Kia Forte review
I bought my Forte LXS in Feb of 2024 and i've driven 9,000 miles on it so far. it's been great and i prefer this over a Corolla or a Camry. on the highway i sometimes get fuel economy in the low 50's mpg and on average i get around 37 mpg combined. not bad at all. i bought this for $21K after taxes and registration. the value can't be beat imo.

2018 Toyota Highlander review
The transmission failed at 112,000 miles and it costs me $8500 to repair. I expect Toyota Highlander transmission would last at least 200,000 miles but I found out that the transmission is not made in Japan like my old Highlander, but it was made in the USA. People who buy Toyota expect major components such as engine, transmission, are made in Japan with zero defects, but when major components are made in the USA, quality suffers.

2023 Ford Explorer review
Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2026 Chevrolet Traverse review
Bought this to replace a vehicle I had owned for 15 years and I will say that catching up with the technology has been interesting. I wanted the off road capabilities and have not yet (at 2500 miles) had a lot of opportunity to see what it will do in mild off road situations but so far am impressed with performance so far. Ride is very good, typical GM stuff, seats maybe could be a little nicer, I am 75 years old and while this is a nice ride (longest trip from Michigan to Tennessee so far) it is comfortable but seems like it could a little more comfy, GM always wants to put you in that next up category. Surprised at the power of a four cylinder 2.5 L engine, that thing can turn the tires over if you are not careful. Overall I am very satisfied with this vehicle after four months of ownership and would recommend it, no problems, no surprises, oh, and really like the Google maps and large screen. Looking forward to my next road trip with this vehicle, its a nice ride. I might say too that I have owned a full size truck (Avalanche) before and prefer a predominantly front wheel drive vehicle so that was something that influenced this purchase decision.

2023 Chevrolet Blazer review

2024 Ford Edge review
7 Ford Edges and the 2024 is rock solid yet quiet and great performance. Everyone wants to use the Edge when we go anywhere. The controls are easy to use for non distracted driving. 2023 Jeep Compass review
My wife and I bought a 23' Jeep Compass Limited with 15K miles. We were looking for something small but also a vehicle that could offer 4x4. My initial impression of it at the dealership was that it has an awesome exterior paint color (granite crystal) and black wheels to compliment it. The car drives great on the highway and city. It's a very comfortable ride and the car can turn on a dime! I am currently averaging 30 mpg while commuting to work each day. I have noticed the car will sometimes have difficulty up shifting. As long as I apply more gas it eventually gets over it. Not a big deal for me as my last vehicle would do the same thing. The rear view camera is nice on the Compass, however it is completely useless at night. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

2018 Chevrolet Equinox review
2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

2024 Jeep Compass review
We purchased a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited Elite. This vehicle has far surpassed our expectations for comfort, handling, road noise and quality. There is very little road noise we hear inside the vehicle, and this allows us to keep the radio turned down to a comfortable level. Handling is exceptional and very responsive. The driver safety features of lane guidance, adaptive cruise control (my favorite) and 360-degree backup camera are now features we will not go without after experiencing first hand performance. I bought mine used, and she hadn't been taken care of,, but would still crank every time I put a key to her. I've been working on her and replacing/ repairing what was neglected and she is a war horse! Wish I had had her from the start.

2024 Toyota GR86 review
Most fun you can have in an affordable two door sports car. It corners and brakes like a go-cart. Acceleration is better than I expected and running through the gears (manual trans) is exhilarating. Fun, joy are words that come to mind. Always puts a smile on my face.
