I bought out of state from MA and Mass did not make this process easy but Steve Beidler and the rest of the team did an amazing job of helping me out however they could from their end. In '87 traded up from my 924, a lightly used '85. Loved that car, Guards Red & 5 speed manual. Handled incredibly well, and had it up to 130 (speedometer) on the NJ Turnpike once. Wasn't the fastest but nimble made it quick and I thought really good brakes. Saw many Corvettes disappear in the rear view mirror through the twisties in rural Virginia. It did develop a drive shaft problem & expensive repair. But I did most of the maintenance myself - changed timing belt, brake pads, oil, plugs, etc.

The best looking Vette ..turns so many heads when I drive it. Love cruising around and listening to the rumble of the exhaust..they don't make them like that anymore!

What a great car to drive. I beat on this 2ss constantly with absolutely no problems ever. As far as Evelyn and the blend door, you never have door issues if you don't drop pens or mascara and stuff down from the dash and jam it up. I haven't had one problem in 100,000 very very hard miles and 4 or 5 sets of tires. Overall an amazing fun car
