Bought new in October 2017. 85,000+ miles. Needs new set of tires (previous set went 40,000+ miles) and a new battery (original battery dying after 69 months). Otherwise just (full synthetic) oil changes and routine maintenance. 2.4L 4-cyl. engine/4-sp. automatic trans. runs strong. 21 MPG in town, 30 MPG on the highway. Good winter traction with the right tires. Nothing inside or outside has fallen off that wasn't helped off by road debris. I wanted basic transportation without all the bling - this vehicle has more than filled the bill.

This SUV meets all my needs. It has spacious third row seating, plenty of cargo storage compartments, several 12v plug ins, USB & aux ports. It rides smooth and the upright seating proves comfortable on long journeys! Its powertrain rates sluggish, but I beg to differ, it performs just as a V6 should.

Its a great vehicle for smaller families. I have 4 children under 10 and can fit everybody in ALMOST comfortably. The 3rd row seating leg room is very tight. Other than that, it's great. Not the fastest vehicle. But its not slow and has enough grunt to pass anybody in a timely manner. Seats are supportive with mild bolstering in the front. The audio system is good enough that im not constantly thinking about upgrading it. In fact the stock speakers have very clear definition at higher levels which kind of blew my mind a bit. All in all its been a very reliable car.

This was my first time buying a (nearly) new vehicle from a dealership. It was a re-acquired vehicle with 14k miles. This is me second sale to Carmax. The first sale went smoothly and everything they said was true! People who turn their car into the dealer are totally getting screwed. For example I turned in a 2020 c300 early this year. The payoff was $32k; I got $36k from Carmax. Unbelievable. However, companies like Mercedes allowed Carmax to pay off the lease. Now they require you to buy out the lease so you have to come up with the cash and then you have to wait until you get the title before you can go to Carmax. Sounds like a little anti trust behavior.
