I own a 2017 Tesla Model S. It's literally the best car I've ever owned. I have driven it 157,000 miles and haven't done a thing to it except change tires. ZERO maintenance! No more oil changes, fluid flushes, belts, filters, nothing. I haven't even needed new brakes because the car slows it's self down so I rarely even touch the brakes. It cost me $400 to have my electrician put the proper outlet in my garage. I charge from home while I sleep. I am never inconvenienced by having to go to the gas station. No more pumping gas, getting gas on my hands, nothing, dripping down my car. I will NEVER own an ICE engine again. Couldn't be happier and will never go back. If you aren't sure, trust me, you will love every minute of driving this car and you will save money doing it.

This car has been the best I’ve owned so far. Even if you aren’t looking at a Tesla, EVs in general are so much fun! I’ve had little maintenance in the three years I’ve had this car so far (tire rotations, wiper blades). Every major software update brings either new features or improvements.

Found a great deal on an Infiniti G37 but wanted my wife to check it out first. When we went the next day it was gone! Traveling to the Keys from NC with a troop of Boy Scouts my new battery (three weeks old) failed in Titusville. I replaced the battery but between Titusville and West Palm my battery voltage gauge started to drop. I stopped into Schumacher Buick GMC to check the battery and charging system to ensure I did not have an electrical issue. The shop had a full day of appointments, but the front staff worked with the shop to squeeze me in. Within an hour Rob, the shop supervisor, troubleshoot my car, ensured me that the electrical system was working properly and got me back on the road. Thanks.

I picked up my Polestar 3, single motor long range, less than a month ago on a lease program with lots of incentives. It has been a great car to drive and it does get great range, 350 miles, on a charge. The Jupiter paint is unique and the first of its kind in the Southeast region. Wool blend seats are very comfortable. It has plenty of pick up and handles very well . I am very impressed. As a Volvo owner since 1974, there is a lot of Volvo in the Polestar. The 3 is built in the Volvo Ridgeville, SC plant so there was no tariff worries. I highly recommend this car!

I purchased a used 2022 Polestar 2 about 10 months ago. I have a PHEV Honda Clarity and I wanted to go all EV. The Polestar 2 has been a great car to own; it is very low maintenance, comfortable for tall drivers and passengers under 6 ft in height; the over the air updates are good, and we should be getting a NACS adapter in August 2024. I recommend the Polestar 2.

Review: Living With 3 Chevy Bolt EVs for past 6 years Owning three Chevy Bolt EVs has been one of the smartest financial and practical decisions we’ve made. Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel. I was lucky to find this Volvo Certified 2021 XC40 Recharge that had just been returned by single user's 3 yr lease. It had 23,698 miles, all the extra accessories including heat pump, and amazingly enough the Volvo installed tow hitch package. Drove it, and slept on the purchase over night and then in morning decided to 'click' the buy button. I could not be happier. I've been a Volvo fan for over 50 yrs but recently had converted over to Toyota, sold the Toyota 4 months ago and had been car-less since. I don't drive that much these days so the 208 claimed max driving range was really of no concern to me. What I liked.... 1) Outside styling very pleasing to my eyes which to me was typical Volvo. 2) The minimalist look of the car's interior. 3) Seat comfort and adequate space in second row seating. 4) Easy entry/exit. 5) Keyless operation for entry and exit-locking. 6) The option for one and two pedal operation. 7) Easy to see/read the center display screen, with voice activation, as well as allowing the Apple CarPlay. 8) Quality interior door coverings. 9) Amazing powered huge overhead glass moon roof with motor operated closing shade. 10) 110v and 240v charging options - and maybe access to Tesla's charging infrastructure in next few months via special charging adapter. 11) Adequate USB-C ports + 2x 12v outlets. 12) Adequate cargo area with several well placed side hooks etc. 13) Auto opening for the rear hatch via the 'waving foot' action. 14) Telescopic and up/down steering wheel. 15) The extending driver seat's forward lip for extra leg support. 16) The almost quietness when driving. 17) Headlight beam bending when making turns and going around curves. 18) The Volvo Certified warranty extension offering. 19) The 20,000 mile/2 years maintenance cycle. 20) Drive comfort and stability at all speeds was very acceptable. 21) The XC40 Recharge's performance is simply outstanding. 22) My family/friends were all amazed and liked the XC40 Recharge. 23) Obviously pleased with all the safety aspects of the XC40 Recharge's features. 24) No screaming alerts and severe flashing lights when locking the car. 25) The 17-foot long charging cable was acceptable. 26) The 2000 pound towing capacity suited my requirements. 27) The price for the 3 yr old XC40 Recharge being some 55% off its 2021 MSRP. 28) No buyers remorse at all.
