2002 Toyota Corolla review
My stepbrother who was a drug addict and tore this car up had it for about 2 years. Backed it up over curbs at speeds of 15 an hour a few times and eventually i got it and drove it with 2 misfires. Wheel bearings that were in pieces and 2 broken engine mounta for a year and a half. I grew up a littlw and began to take care of my car and she still runs like a brand new car after ive iust replaces the coil pack bearings and 02 sensors. Ive not even done the engine mounts yet and shes still running like a smooth new car. Wyen my 02 dies out im getting a 2017 corolla

2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
I recently purchased a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, and it delivers exactly what I was looking for—performance, style, and modern innovation in one package. The acceleration is immediate and strong. The instant torque gives it a powerful launch, and the responsiveness makes every drive feel engaging. Whether merging onto the highway or navigating city streets, the Mach-E feels quick, controlled, and confident. Handling is solid, and the ride is smooth without sacrificing that sporty feel. It carries the Mustang character well, just in an electric form. The design also stands out—especially in classic Mustang blue—with a bold, athletic presence that turns heads. Inside, the technology is a major upgrade. The infotainment system is clean and intuitive, and the cabin feels modern and comfortable with premium touches throughout. I’ve driven other EVs like the Tesla Model S Plaid, Rivian R1T, and Nissan Leaf, and each has its strengths, but the Mach-E strikes the best balance between performance and everyday usability. Range has been reliable for my needs, and I’m already seeing savings compared to gas. Like any EV, charging takes some planning for longer trips, but it becomes second nature quickly. 2024 GMC Yukon XL review

1998 Cadillac DeVille review
I moved into a little old lady's house who was in her last two years. I loved the house and this 98 cadillac was in the garage where I parked my 95 MB 230 compressor. I loved looking at this car every time I pulled in. Battery was Dead car is Absolutely clean and Beautiful. The daughter sold it to me for $6000. 60k miles and awesome. I've drove it 3 years now and only put $1000 in tires and $569 for new oxygen sensor, wires and new plugs. My friends all Teese me for being a shiny white guy with a Big Ole Cadillac...lol.. They are so Jealous. I love Mrs Betty.

2007 Ford F-150 review
In 2007, I traded my ‘99 Expedition in on my current 2097 F-150 crew cab, 4X4 Lariat, big block V8. What a great truck she has been. Great driver in dark brown over lite brown, that looks great, my neighbor keeps trying to buy it from me. The power is great, very comfortable ride on leather seats, CD and satellite radio, I added a cap over the box in matching factory colors. 110,000 on the odometer, with zero problems. I keep up with factory recommended maintenance and I’ve never had any problems. I’ve looked at the newer model F-150s but have never liked the idea of leaving my 2007. Bottom line, this has been a great value for me.

2017 Volkswagen Jetta review
9/2017 purchase offered significant dealer and MFG discounting....................OTD Jetta S with the manual shift was $1437.05. At 68,000 miles I've not had a single issue. Fuelly says just under 41 MPG in 35/65 city/highway use. My best highway miles Sacramento - LA round trip was 50.3 on Interstate 5. esshift5

2020 Volkswagen Jetta review
I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

2021 RAM 3500 review
Well mine is a tradesman. Meaning lowest model. It is a beast. Has plenty of power for a one ton gas engine. I have taken it on a couple of long trips highway drives and I actually got good gas mileage so I am pleased. Only thing I wish I had was a larger information screen. Backup camera is too small for such a big truck

2003 Toyota Highlander review
My 2003 Highlander is now 20 years old and has been in our family the whole time. 260,000 Miles and this beautiful car runs like new. I love the power of the V6. I love the ride and the FWD does great in the mountains. I love the reliability. I love the tape deck! I frequently drive rental cars that are brand new that I don't like nearly as much as this 20 yr old Highlander. Amazing reliability and a joy to drive.

2014 Acura MDX review
As I said in my review, I purchased this car from this dealership in 2017. At the time it had about 35,000 miles on it. It has been a great car. It gets 25-27mpg on the highway although it only gets 18-20 around town. The seats are comfortable and there's plenty of cargo room if you keep the third row seats down. The only thing it doesn't have that I would like is a heated steering wheel. My previous car, a 2012 GMC Denali XL, had a heated wheel, and in the winter it was really great to grab a warm steering wheel. This is a great family car and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

2004 Chrysler Crossfire review
The 1st Crossfire that I owned was an alabaster white one with the cedar and dark slate interior, I loved the car, but I traded it in on a 2005 Roadster in Aero Blue Pearlcote with a two-tone grey interior. I loved the car as much as the white one, but this one had some flaws from an accident that the dealer didn't tell me about. It was nice enough but I fell in love with a Mini Cooper. I regret getting rid of the white one so much that I am looking for one now. I found one in Virginia. It's a bit pricey But I want it none-the-less.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. 2019 Porsche Panamera review
This is my 4th Porsche, and might be my last. With two 7 year olds still at home, it was too tough to get them into the back of the 911. This is the perfect blend of practicality and zoom zoom. From the drivers seat, it feels like a wide, flat 911 with almost all of the spunk and driving fun. I use mine as a daily driver and it drives great. There is really no comparison to the fit and finish from Porsche -- all top notch, even at the base level.

2009 Honda Civic review
This car replaced my 1993 Civic when the corrosion of the midwest did in the suspension, which was not worth repairing on on a car with 279,000 miles. Now my current Civic was approaching this benchmark fast befor Covid. It had some big shows to fill and easily did so. No problems, and it has been beat to crap. This is city driving, so the engine hours are through the roof. Average maybe 20mph thoughtour it’s life. Did need it’s starter replaced once, although this was less expensive than the old timing belt tuneup on the 93. There was an issue with thinning paint on trunk and the car has been hit with enough rocks and when parked that she is far from pristine. I vouch for the safety as this is the insurance replacement of one that got totaled with 60 miles on it back in 09, a roll over. Run off road by semi whose brakes failed. I find the car quite comfortable for commuting purposes and the AC still works. It’s a DX-VP, so she’s awfully spartan by modern standards. Now that I work from home, the miles are coming slower. I assume a better conditioned one with low miles would hold its resale value pretty well. I’d like to justify getting a new car to scoot around town but it’s impossible to justify.

2010 MINI Cooper review
I’ve owned my 2010 mini cooper base for 5 years now and let me tell you i am OBSESSED with it. bought the car with a small coolant leak, and fixing that was a little pricey, but other than that i’ve had zero issues with it. super comfortable, no cosmetic issues inside or out, and drives me around! I live in an incredibly small town, so i can go 3 months on one tank of gas.

2011 Nissan Altima review
The front seats are comfortable and supportive. The 4 cyl has pep, gets 20 mph in the city at 165,000 miles and has been very reliable. When first moving in cold weather, the CVT transmission has to warm up for a couple of minutes before it smoothly shifts gears or manually shift it. It starts every time with a 5 year old battery in 0 degree weather. All in all, a good purchase.a

2011 BMW X5 review
This is the most underrated gems in the used diesel SUV market—but only if you’re the right kind of owner. Powered by the soon becoming legendary M57 inline-six diesel engine, this version of the E70 X5 combines German engineering with long-haul durability if treated right….and by treated right, I mean ideally maintained by someone who can turn a wrench and not the type of owner who wants to drop it off at the dealership for every noise or light. This vehicle is ideal for the hands-on car enthusiast who appreciates the mechanical integrity of a proper diesel engine and doesn’t mind putting in garage time to keep it in good shape. If you're someone who already loves BMWs and understands their quirks, this vehicle will feel like a rewarding project and a fantastic daily driver in one package. The M57 diesel engine is incredibly robust and becomes one of the best engines only with one huge caveat…the emissions equipment needs to be removed. In fact, I would not recommend owning this vehicle if you don’t plan or cannot do this in your state legally. Once deleted, this engine opens up and delivers a strong blend of torque, horse power and efficiency, making it an excellent tow vehicle. It's perfect for hauling a car trailer, camper, or family gear around without struggle. Stock, it’s already torquey, but with the deletes and a mild tune, this becomes a real beast without sacrificing reliability...and if given a race tune, this thing will hurt other drivers' feelings pulling from stop lights or on the freeway. The chassis overall is “decent” (Being said by a vintage BMW enthusiast, this is very much a compliment to today’s standards), but there are known maintenance pain points that a mechanically inclined owner should be aware of. If you plan to purchase from a used dealership or private seller, you’ll most likely need to do a suspension refresh including replacement of struts, bushings, arms etc.…possibly an engine refresh including valve cover seals, intake manifold cleaning and replacement of other various leaky seals…work on the cooling system including but not limited to replacing lines, hoses, main/expansion coolant tank as these are plastic and will crack and fail due to heat over time. There will be some normal interior wear including the finishes of center console buttons peeling off but are easily replaceable. Something important to note when purchasing is the interior sunroof shade condition, including whether it is completely operable and if there are any signs of sagging/peeling fabric. Any issue with the sunroof should reflect in the price as this item is very intricate, expensive, and difficult to work on. These aren’t dealbreakers though...just things to note when looking to purchase and if they’ve been covered in recent maintenance...if they haven't, plan for work that will inevitably need to be done. Again, don’t expect it to be hands-off, you’ve got to earn this one…But if you're up for the task, you’ll be rewarded with one of BMW’s most versatile platforms.
