Used 2018 Ford Edge for sale near Midlothian, IL

I recently purchased my Audi with Dexter Gordon. From start to finish, Dexter was wonderful to interact with. He was helpful, professional and knowledgeable. He was also incredibly patient with me as I was quite undecided. But he gave me my space and time to decide as I am the type of person that needs to internalize options before pulling the trigger. To my surprise, he did not push me to purchase same day which I appreciated as I don't like to be pressured; purchasing a car is a huge decision. He was also transparent in his interactions with me. I have a 2018 Edge Titiaum with just over 15,000 miles. Could not get the cruise control to work. Dealer just informed me it is going to need a module costing over 17,000 , plus 300.00 labor. Seems this part should last longer than 15.000 miles.

The SPORT with the 2.7L 6 cylinder engine is a really, good suv for the money - NOT the lower trim versions, particularly with the 2.0L 4 cylinder. Those are rental fleet appliances. The SPORT, however, is properly quick. Handling is acceptable considering it sits on a front wheel drive chassis that does awd as a side hustle. The interior design is ok and can be had with a lot of premium features like hands-free parking, adaptive cruise, remote start and a huge sunroof. But it's all about that 2.7L V6 engine.

John Czech was excellent as our salesman, giving sound advice to our needs and wants. He was aware of our time constraints with other commitments and got us done in a timely manner. Will definitely be back to purchase other vehicles in the future.

My wife and I test-drove a used 2018 Escape, Explorer and this Ford Edge before my purchase. This is the Platinum model with 20" tires and all the bells and whistles. I have to tell you that after driving this car for over a year it has far exceeded my expectations with regard to a quiet and smooth drive as well as comfort. I initially had some concern that the 2.0L 4cyl would be too small, but it provides all the pep and passing power I could ask for. Frankly, I have been amazed by this little engine. I have a towing pkg, but only use the hitch for a cargo carrier we purchased. If I could change one thing about the car it would be a rear tailgate window that opens. Unfortunately, there are few newer models (if any) that provide a rear window that opens. If I had it to do over again, I'd definitely buy this car without any hesitation! I traded my 2011 Ford Escape Limited on this car and am really impressed how far Ford has come with technology and refinement.
