Used 2024 Ford Edge for sale near Southern View, IL

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Bob Ridings and was very happy with the overall process. Ron Pritchard was great to work with, did not pressure me, answered my questions, and ensured that the process went smoothly. I owned a 2017 Fusion Platinum and did not want to get a SUV. Knowing the Edge was based on the same platform, I gave the 2024 a spin. I was impressed. It drove, handled, braked, and steered very well. I drove many cars, and even though Ford had not redesigned in a while, it was more enjoyable to drive than the Audi Q5 and Lexus RX. I rated the value a 3 because it is expensive. The Titanium Elite price is in the Lexus/Audi ballpark. I really wanted the Audi because I have owned some in the past, but the Edge was more sporty and more comfortable. I drove the ST and I was surprised that it did not feel a lot faster. This wqas the same with the Fusion. You can tell the ST was faster, but it did not jump off the line like I was expecting. I was disappointed the edge lost some equipment from the past as it is being phased out. So I added it. I added the hood insulation, the engine cover, the cargo cover, LED lighted sill plates, and the laminated acoustic glass on the front doors, all purchased from FORD dealers to make sure they were the real deal. I also added the keyless entry keypad (securicode). I was really disappointed they deleted securicode. The interior is not flashy like an Audi, but I like that it is understated. The carmello seat and door inserts make the car very audi-ish and special. It is too bad this is the last year. The Lincoln Nautilus lives on as the next generation in the USA. I can tell it has roots from the Fusion. That is also gone.

Extremely pleased with the comfort and ride on my new 2024 Ford Edge Titanium. Have previously owned two Explorers and two Edges. Thought my 2022 Explorer rode very quiet, had lots of power and very comfortable. , but this Edge is significantly better all around than the Explorer. I wish it had intelligent 4 wheel drive with the rear drive primary. I will deal with the AWD version. It handles extremely well with a solid quiet ride and tight turning radius. It has a very large 7x10 touch screen mounted vertically in the middle of the dash. You can control almost every possible setting on this. Totally loaded and worth the extra cost. It is so comfortable we can drive 13-14 hours straight though on our trips to Florida . Drive it, you won’t be disappointed.

We didn't end up getting a van there or anywhere. We loved their helpfulness with trying to get us the best loan possible and low payments but in the end the lender not the dealer just couldn't give us the low payment that we needed to get a van. So we are still saving and hope that with more of a down payment we can have a newer van by this summer from them. Again so kind and helpful can't wait to work with them again.

2024 is the last year of this two-row SUV. Though it is built on an older design/platform, the Edge is the perfect commuting vehicle. The Edge gets great gas mileage and handles extremely well. The AWD system works well and from past experience with the Edge, we know it handles terrifically in inclement weather. We were able to custom order an SEL with very specific options. We loved that Ford allowed a la carte ordering and we were able to get all the extras we wanted. We are averaging over 30MPG with a couple of thousand miles on the vehicle. The Edge weighs a lot for such a compact crossover, but that’s why we like it safe and hugs the road very well. Plenty of space for a 2-row crossover, offering both excellent passenger comfort and storage capacity. We highly recommend the 2024 Edge to those needing a reliable crossover, a daily commuter, or a safe small family hauler. Consumer Reports absolutely loves this vehicle, and as a 3x owner through the years, I can confirm the reasons why CR loves the Edge. It’s been a great run for the Edge, one of the greatest crossovers ever built.

i am not one to write a review on anything i get right off the bat just the way i am. i have been looking for a car for six months again you can see no hurry with me . i have been to other dealers and you cant get out the car and someone is trying to sell you a car .come on in and we will give you about half what your your cars worth. well a few of theses and i was keeping my car i am not giving it away no matter how i want another car. well i got on the internet and seen a couple of cars i was interested in went to bob ridings and looked around found one i liked talked to ron pritchard and traded for a good price . i am just saying before i would buy somewhere i would give bob ridings a try.

We recently purchased our sixth vehicle from bob ridings. The two salesmen that we had purchased thru are no longer at this dealership, so that's all there is to say about that....but the service department is why we keep coming back. JAY, TRAVIS and the rest of the service department are top notch. whenever we had a problem they took care of what ever it might be. Recently, our battery died on our new car. With a phone call, they came and picked up the vehicle and fixed the problem, then delivered the car back to our home while we were at work! So the car was ready when we came home. There are more examples, but I'll keep this short. The bottom line is, this service department is why we continually purchase, happily, from bob ridings.

I was in the market for a used truck and I found exactly what I wanted at Landmark Ford Trucks. My salesman, Zac, showed me the truck and answered all my questions. If he didn't know the answer, he got one quickly. He left me alone to inspect and test drive my truck. Absolutely no pressure at all.
