We had our 2013 Ford edge for many years had zero problems with it until a stupid driver parked next to my husband and totaled the car. He wasn’t even in the car but until then it never gave us any trouble. We decided we would buy another ford edge which is a 2018 and beautiful. Hopefully we’ll have the same luck with this one.

I bought my 2015 Ford Edge used, from a great Idaho dealership! I drive for a living, so it definitely needs to be reliable, and it has to have power to climb the 7% grade that's over 6 miles long, just to leave town. I think for the price the quality is exceptional! The comfort and safety I feel behind the wheel is great! I would expect no less from a Ford.. and it has kept me smiling!

Bought my 2013 edge limited in 2014 new. Have replaced the catilitic converter but no problems at all. Has 106k miles. Everything works perfectly. Thought about getting a new car but it runs so well. Get 21 mph average. Put Lucas gas treatment in both of my Fords and all well and good. Have 3.5 liter. It’s very fast when needed.

I have had minimal problems after my 5yr extended warranty paid for itself. The only downside of this vehicle is the avg 18mph and its navigation which changes the radio when I try to change it. Also it interimentiltly has issues with trying to put an address in it as well.

I live 100 miles away. Mike was so awesome to work with through texting and figuring out payments. Definitely will be looking forward to doing business with him. Unfortunately, we decided not to buy at this time due to unfortunate circumstances. But when we do, we will be asking for Mike!

I have a 2018 Edge Titiaum with just over 15,000 miles. Could not get the cruise control to work. Dealer just informed me it is going to need a module costing over 17,000 , plus 300.00 labor. Seems this part should last longer than 15.000 miles.

Overall, very good experience. They had a good selection of vehicles and were more than willing to help with the buying process.

I NEEDED A CAR…I WENT ON AUTOTRADER AND FOUND A CAR I THOUGHT I MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN AT CAR NATION…I CALLED AND WENT DOWN TO MEET MIKE…MY PRIMARY CONTACT AT CAR NATION…AND TO TAKE IT ON A TEST DRIVE…I LIKED IT…I ASKED MIKE IF I COULD TAKE IT TO MY MECHANICS… WHOM I HAVE BEEN RELYING ON TO FIX MY CARS’ ISSUES OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF DECADES… TO HAVE THEM TAKE A LOOK AT IT…THE ANSWER WAS, “YES”…I PUT A SMALL DOWN PAYMENT ON THE VEHICLE TO SHOW MY GOOD FAITH…ALTHOUGH I WAS NOT ASKED TO DO SO…THE NEXT DAY I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANICS…THEY FOUND A COUPLE OF ISSUES WITH THE CAR…BUT NO DEAL BREAKERS…AND I ASKED THEM TO WRITE THEM DOWN…AND THEY DID…AND I WENT BACK TO CAR NATION AND SHOWED THEM WHAT MY MECHANICS FOUND…CAR NATION SAID THAT IF I STILL WANTED THE CAR…THEY WOULD FIX THE ISSUES AND I COULD PICK UP THE CAR AND TAKE IT HOME WITH ME THE NEXT DAY. THAT WAS FINE WITH ME. THE NEXT DAY…MIKE CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THE CAR WAS READY…I WANTED HIM TO CALL ME BEFORE I CAME DOWN BECAUSE I LIVE 60 MILES AWAY… WHEN I GOT THERE THE NEXT DAY…IT TURNED OUT THAT ONE OF THIER MECHANICS…CHRIS…WHO WORKED ON MY CAR THE PREVIOUS DAY… HAD A FEW EXTRA MINUTES ON HIS HANDS…SO HE TOOK ME ASIDE AND TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT HE DID TO THE CAR FOR ME…AND SHOWED ME PICTURES…ON HIS CELL PHONE… OF WHAT MY MECHANICS COULD NOT SEE…THE NOT VISIBLE PARTS THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEMS THAT MY MECHANICS COULD SEE…THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES…SO TO SPEAK… I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THAT… IF THAT WAS NOT “BEING TRANSPARENT,” THEN I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE PHRASE. THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH A DEALER WHO USES HIS EXPERIENCE AND BEST JUDGMENT TO GET CARS FROM AN AUCTION… BUT… WHAT DON’T YOU SEE AT THOSE DEALERSHIPS?...SERVICE BAYS… STOCKED WITH COMPETENT MECHANICS… READY TO MAKE YOUR CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE… A GOOD ONE. Didn't know much about this vehicle until I drove it on a test drive. Very impressed with the handling and room inside the vehicle. Handled like a brand new car, looks are very sporty and attractive. The Edge brand should last a long time.

Best used vehicle I have ever purchased!! The V-6 on my SEL makes it fun to drive, although it is a bit of a gas guzzler. I don't care because I put more priority on get up and go then MPG!

Came in on a Saturday at 1:00pm asked if I purchased the vehicle that day would it be ready for me to take it home. I was surprised when the salesman said yes. Sure enough I was driving home in a new truck that day! Had a great experience at bob Ruth!!!

If you plan on buying a ford edge from 2017, or anywhere between 2015-18, I implore you to make sure that you buy a used one. Why, because if it has over 100k miles on it, there's a good chance it had a good gen 1 engine in it or already had the cracked gen 1 engine in it replaced with a new gen 2 engine in it that won't crack anytime soon. This is a known problem with the ford edges and other models that come with that specific first generation model inline 4-cylinder between the 80k-100k miles marker, Ford knows about it and a recall should be issued but they won't be doing that anytime soon. So, if you by a ford edge with under 60k miles on it like I did, immediately purchase the 50k miles powertrain warranty at designated ford dealer, and if the car is a CPO get the 100k miles warranty no matter what the miles on it currently are, you no idea if the engine you got is going to crack, so make sure you get the warranty plan that will cover replacing the engine and anything else that goes wrong with the needed number of miles to cover the 80k-100k miles marker; my edge almost made it to 100k miles before it cracked. And because the new engine put so much back pressure on the old transmission, the engine killed the transmission, so I got that replaced too! $205 deductible later, and I essentially got an entire new car, I'll drive the thing till the wheels fall off at this point.

Fantastic dealership, my sales person was Matt . Saw my 2006 Ram on line with 91,000 on it for such a low price I thought this must be a mistake. Drive up from Delaware picked up a friend and drove over to Morgan’s i’m not kidding when I say this truck looks like it was in the show room beautiful I could not believe it if it wouldn’t of been for the year I would’ve said this truck was brand new they even put new tires on save me a lot of money there would highly recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for a good used car no hassle no hidden fees straight up sales people thank you thank you thank you.

We have a 2013 Edge SEL AWD which replaced my wife’s older Explorer which she drive for many years and the Edge has been a real pleasure to drive. I had two successive Expeditions for business which I drove for around half a million miles. So, in late 2022, when we decided to sell the Expy and downsize, we decided to “upgrade” my wife’s Edge and I would keep the 2013. We searched for a good price on a 2019 Titanium and enlisted the help of a sales rep at Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC who had found the 2013 model for us. He found a 2019 Edge ST in Performance Blue with reasonable mileage and not even a scratch!! The interior was immaculate and the panoramic moon roof was the clincher. As an “outside sales rep” for 45 years, I have driven two million miles. During that time, we have owned Volvos, a Saab, Chevrolets, a Chrysler Concorde, a Pontiac, and a bunch of Fords. This ST is the best vehicle we have ever owned!!! Zero to 60 in five, great handling, quiet ride, and 29.7 average on the road at interstate speeds!!! I cannot say too much in favor of this car. I had been looking for a pickup and found one on their site. Since I am over 200 miles away, I called to verify if it was there and the details of the truck. I spoke to Joey, he was very polite and answered all my questions. The next day I drove the 200 plus miles, once there everybody was very courteous, Joey showed me the truck and it was exactly as stated on the site. Joey was very personable, no pressure, and was very professional. I bought the truck and drove it over 200 miles back home, it drove very nice. I am extremely pleased and will recommend I-Deal Cars to everybody looking for a vehicle, I will buy from I-Deal Cars again.

I bought my Edge when it was three years old and had less than 20k miles. I saved almost 20k from a new titanium models. The rear trunk light casing has a water leak that needs fixing but otherwise I have had zero issues w it. Power seat w Lumbar support makes a huge difference on long drives.

Gelreat car for the most part. I got it used with 125k miles. So far so good knock on wood on engine coolant leak issues. But the only downside and i've never had major bad luck with ford. Except on those junky focus transmissions 2012 to 2018. Well I got 170k miles on it and my flex plate is bad or cracked. My understanding is the issue is cause by torque converter weld stud bolts not welded properly from factory. I have been confirmed by my mechanic that it is flex plate rattle. Whats crazy is there is a csp on it for that same flex plate rattle but im over the 120k mile mark. But other ford edges with my same 2.0 engine on the 2017 year model have a recall for torque converter welds and recalls are unlimited mileage. I think thats what caused my flex plate issue. I understand normal wear and tear but 170k mile when i have taken care of it, that dont seem fair.

Although I purchased my Edge used in 2019, it has given me one issue, but Good news! When I took my car to Ford’s dealership to repair, I learnt it was covered completely due to a recalled. The only thing they didn’t do was a “complimentary car wash, that I’m used to having. Nevertheless, the service was taken care of in a timely manner. In spite of one worst winter storm in the South.

The SPORT with the 2.7L 6 cylinder engine is a really, good suv for the money - NOT the lower trim versions, particularly with the 2.0L 4 cylinder. Those are rental fleet appliances. The SPORT, however, is properly quick. Handling is acceptable considering it sits on a front wheel drive chassis that does awd as a side hustle. The interior design is ok and can be had with a lot of premium features like hands-free parking, adaptive cruise, remote start and a huge sunroof. But it's all about that 2.7L V6 engine.
