Used 2005 Ford Escape for sale near Charlotte, NC

Keep an eye on rear passenger side wheel well where the shock tower meets the body for some reason that particular side is prone to corrosion. They sell the patch panels for that side only on Amazon but probably pricey to hire someone to do it. Replaced ignition coils at around 130K and front suspension has needed some work but overall great vehicle. At 155K now hoping to get it to 200-250K and EVs will hopefully be cheaper by then.

This vehicle is amazing! 2005 Ford escape It it now has 200k miles and still running STRONG! The AC compressor has needed two replacements, minor exhaust leak and oil leak that were easily repaired, brake pad replacements etc. but no major issues, transmission is still great. Be sure to use the parking brake every time to prevent transmission damage since these vehicles can sometimes have transmission issues. If you use the parking brake it may help prevent that. LOVE the way it handles, great steering, great visibility, powerful engine. I love this vehicle!

Seriously, I feel so at home in this car. It handles so well. Steering, visibility, torch V6. I just feel totally safe and powerful in this vehicle despite its age it has such great characteristics and design. Low maintenance and reliability.

Most affordable vehicles on the area, easy purchasing process, after deciding on which car I wanted it took only 15 minutes to do the paperwork and drive off. Taxes plates and registration was taken care of there so I don't even have to deal with the dmv. Thanks again!

I love the car, after getting tboned in a small car I was terrified to get behind the wheel, but my escape helped me out of that fear and now I have no problem driving!

The customer service was pretty good, and the prices were fair. They were willing to negotiate. If I wanted to view a car someone would escort me or at least point me in the right direction

I saw a truck on line and went to wildcat used cars to check it out. Unfortunately because of the auto workers strike I had to wait a couple months for repairs to be made. During that time Chuck Valentine was my salesman. He kept texting me and keeping me informed. He described what was going on . I used to be a salesman myself once so I kinda judge them as I deal with them. Chuck did a great job selling me my truck. I would absolutely recommend wildcat used cars for your next purchase! We loved Adam from the Illinois store in Fort Wayne! He was awesome, found a 2008 Lincoln MXK in super great condition for me, we test drove, financed and drove away in about 2 hours (which is amazing!) and that was 3 years ago! And it’s been a great little car for me! Thank you, Adam! I contacted the dealer about a truck I was interested in on cars.Com. A Mr. Lipscomb answered and informed me that the truck had sold but that he did have other trucks in that category. He also told me he could have some work done if I needed it. He was very polite and helpful, I will be going up there to look in person in a couple days. I expect to have another good review to post then.
