Used 2022 Ford Explorer XLT for sale near Plainview, NY

Novak Motors, still a hidden gem but…. Things have changed. My first time buying a car at Novak was an unexpected pleasure. Found them online claiming a no-hassle pricing policy. So, I went in and met with a sales associate named Laura. Told her I was looking for a Santa Fe. She said ‘we have eight of them. I found one I liked and we sat down with the car fax. I asked what they could do on the price and she said ‘nothing, that’s the price’. Well, I had already done my homework. Their cars seemed to be priced all at the lower end of the Kelley Blue Book range. Fair enough I thought. I asked if I could have my mechanic look at the car and she said ‘sure and if you find anything wrong, since the car was still under warranty, it would be taken to the dealer and fixed prior to the purchase’. With that said and done I came in to buy the car a few days later. Ok, here comes Amy the finance person. I’m ready for all the usual crap that you deal with at the dealership. But no, just a little paperwork and Amy had me out the door in about 30 minutes. So now let’s jump ahead about 5 years. Is Novak still a place to buy your car? Yes, but there are changes. Namely a man named Mike who is the sales manager. Now when I talked to a sales person they have to go to Mike. Then Mike comes to me. He’s a big guy and he’s playing that sales manager role we have all seen at dealerships. I asked him if he could do better on the price testing the waters. ‘I can come down $500’ he told me (so much for no haggle). Now I’ve already done my homework and Mike is being deceiving. The prices online were $500 lower than the sticker on the car. When I asked him about that he said ‘that they haven’t updated the stickers yet’. That was another lie. I had been in the showroom on and off for over a week and been looking at their website regularly. He also negotiated several times on what they would give me for my trade in. Telling me he was going to lose money when he sells it at auction. At the price he paid me he probably will. I’m sure in his mind he can offset the loss to corporate by claiming his sales numbers. I hope corporate isn’t that blind to his games. Now jumping ahead, I decided to buy the car and gave a deposit three days prior to month-end. Afterwards, Mike says to me that we need to close the deal by Saturday (last day of the month). I said ‘no problem assuming my credit union processes my loan, if not we can do it Monday’. With that he gave me attitude. I said Mike ‘I’ll do my best but either way I have given you a deposit and we have a signed binder’. His reply was ‘I don’t have to honor it and can pull out of the deal’. My response was ‘really Mike? What kind of dealership high pressure xxxxxxxx you pulling here?’ So here are the main changes at Novak: Mike Mike Mike Seems whoever brought in Mike has made a mistake. Mike has a past history of working at car dealership such as Ford from what he told me and has brought that atmosphere into Novak. Simply put, he’s a bully and likes to throw his obvious weight around. He walks and talks the crap that we’ve all have experienced at car dealerships. Prices of the cars are now about $1000 higher. Obviously, giving Mike room to drop the prices which clearly violates their no haggle policy. He purposely prices the stickers higher than the website and then claims he hasn’t updated his floor stock yet. Bottom line, would I go back to Novak again? Yes, I would. The cars Novak sells are clean, single-owner lease returns. Out of hundreds of lease returns, Fusion gets to selectively choose which ones to sell thru Novak. They are still under the manufacturer’s warranty. They are still within KBB but as I said because of Mike they are higher and you have to negotiate some. One of the main reasons I would still choose Novak for my next car is because of the finance staff of Amy and Frank. I hope Novak’s corporate office wakes up and gets rid of the dead weight that’s bringing them down, Mike.

I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

Just wanted to leave a 5 star review about Yonkers Kia. I worked with Guillermo Rijo who really hustled to get me the EV6 that I wanted before the end of the EV tax rebate this September. He managed to do it, working together with their showroom manager, Michael Romano. The two of them hooked me up with an excellent EV6 Wind that was better than what I expected for a leasing price that was more than fair. I enjoyed working with both of them and appreciate the effort they put into the whole process. As the days go bye, my wife and I are liking the car more and more. It’s a fantastic vehicle and represents an excellent alternative to the Tesla Model 3 I was driving before. I am super happy with the service and attention I received from Guillermo and Michael at Yonkers Kia. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to lease or purchase a Kia vehicle. I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

Tony Noto was very courteous and patient. He tried to get me the best deal. I appreciated his effort.

I am happy with everything about my explorer. Get good gas mileage and is very comfortable ride. Traded my 2020 for this 2022. Love the color and have gotten lots of compliments.

Ford of Queens has been very attentive to my online request and has continued to follow up, even as I drag my feet on making a decision. I have not visited the dealership, so I cannot comment beyond my online experience.

Looked at many different vehicles, very happy with 2022 Ford Explorer. The Explorer vehicle is very roomy with all the comforts of a luxury vehicle.

My review is specifically for Noel! Noel helped me in getting a used car. He was very patient and kind, never too pushy and always went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. He was knowledgeable and always sought help if he needed more information. I definitely recommend Noel as a salesperson if you end up at Northstar Mitsubishi!!! Thanks Noel! (FYI - it’s important to note that the dealership prices their cars quite low and then adds on fees that make them comparable with other dealerships in the area, so just remember that the advertised price is not nearly as close to what you will end up paying.)

In two weeks I'd visited over half a dozen dealerships and some had exceptional customer service, but the sales didn't go through for varying reasons while others had very poor customer relations and the sale didn't go through for the obvious reason. You can imagine my surprise when Bill, the sales manager at Stevens 112, contacted me directly instead of his sales staff. It was a no BS pitch from the start and the price he had for the truck I wanted was already priced to sell--it was already lower than comparable trucks I'd negotiated at all the other dealerships. I've purchased a brand new vehicle without test driving it or seeing it in person, but doing that with a used vehicle was a gamble. This gamble, as it turned out, benefitted everyone. Not only did I go home happy, but I actually paid LESS in fees than I was told on the phone. I literally paid only $145 over the listed price out the door! Bill was a brief conversation, but when he said come see us, take the ferry to LI and I'll have my guy pick you up I was skeptical and thought it was another cheap ploy to get me through the door. NOPE. Frank the sales consultant took care of me and made sure big Mike picked me up on time. These guys were friendly and they don't BS. The price was just right without me having to negotiate and they took care of me. This was a painless and stress less shopping/buying experience that was worth my time and money. Of all the dealerships I'd visited, Stevens Ford 112 had the best and realistic price for their trucks. If they tell you, the truck is priced to sell, they really mean it. Look around at all the other dealerships and you'll know exactly what I mean. The next time I buy another truck or have friends and family who want to buy a truck, I'm recommending they visit Stevens 112 first.

Dealt with Billy, sales manager, Frank, salesperson, and Dennis, finance-person. Professional and honest (all three). We drove 3 - 4 hours from Connecticut to see a 2018, Ford Edge, SEL. Of course, I called for it’s availability. After speaking with Billy, he advised me to think it over before taking such a long drive, however, he will gladly hold the vehicle for 4 hours without any strings attached. He asked that I call him, if I changed my mind from the drive so he can sell the car if needed be. He promised that the car will be available for my family. We took the journey! We arrived 4 hours later. The car was there! Met Billy. He immediately introduced us to Frank. Frank was ready, kind, and professional. Catered to my family and trusted us with car. After 30-45 minutes of test driving. We came back, ready to “negotiate”. Ready, to go “back-and-forth” with the sales people. Ready, to hear the “hidden fees”. We met with Frank, and guess what?! No dealer fees! No doc fees! The price you see, that’s it! We even got a discount on the vehicle! Yes, in this market! We got a discount! We bought the car. Excellent experience buying a 2020 Ford Expedition Limited MAX SUV because my salesperson, Carmine Randello was honest and helpful rather than pushy. Carmine had a way of making me want the car without trying to make me want it.

Went in to buy a used vehicle they had in their inventory. The finance manager worked out a good deal with me to meet my needs in the vehicle i was interested in. The sales person Axel was great with comunication in the car i was interested on.

Rob and Joe were amazing and the car was in perfect condition. I drive 3.5 hours and they were very courteous and professional.
