Used Ford Explorer for sale near Monterey, TN under $399,958

Good experience. Needed work on key switch. Key was locked in and would not release. Had to make multiple trips to service dept before problem was fully diagnosed and repaired, but overall I?m very satisfied. Was given an unsolicited parts discount to compensate for having to make multiple visits. Want to especially recognize service rep, Greg Copley, for his professional attention and courtesy.

Best Ford, other than a pickup, I've ever owned. Minor issues and recalls. All fixed or checked expertly here in Woodbridge VA. Only 80,000 miles. All highway. Tows a trailer perfectly straight. 4X4 with tow package. Getting ready to sell. Nobody else in the house to use it ! Lol

We went to the dealership to trade in our Journey. I told my husband before we got there ?I sure hope we don?t get a true salesman. I truly dislike ?salesman?!!!! To much of our delight Ben was our salesman and he was a delight to work with. He listened to what we wanted. He made suggestions. He didn?t dismiss the little lady like most guys do. I woukd buy my next car from him.

I upgraded from a 2017 Explorer Sport to a 2025 Explorer ST. It handles better. It sounds better. It is faster. The interior is way better. The seats hug you. The infotainment system is fast and works really well.

I am from Michigan and needed service on my Maverick. I called the service department explained my situation and they got me in that day within a couple hours and looked it over and told me it was safe to drive and also did a oil change and tire rotation for me. Thomas was very professional and very helpful given my stressful situation and did everything possible to help me out at the spur of the moment. This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

Best car I’ve ever owned. Does everything I want//need it to do. Always starts in the morning. I’ve been camping with it and slept inside the car. Plenty of room

This would have been a five star review, I’ll share why after the kudos. The service department accommodated my every need in getting an overdue warranty recall taken care of (I had just bought a 2021 Bronco from a local dealer; more on that in my review there). When I first schedule the work I was told it would only take about an hour, so I had planned to wait. The very next day they called to let me know that the time estimate was in error, that it would take up to six hours to accomplish. I rescheduled for the next week, when I had plans to be out of town. They took my vehicle in, ran the tests required, and let me know the results (all good) by the end of that day. My only complaint? When I dropped my vehicle off for service it had a full tank of gas. When I retrieved it after service it was a quarter tank low; thus the one star minus.

Driving experience is great. Either engine is plenty of power but even the base 2.3l is very fast. Rear wheel drive bias is noticeable in driving dynamics making it fun to drive. The new Google based infotainment system one of the best in the industry in my opinion.. Almost don't even need a phone with how smart it is. Blue cruise is very convenient for long monotonous highway drives if equipped

My first new vehicle. I still use it as my spare and my son uses it too for work. It has 368,000 miles and I have only had to replace the alternator and the thermostat (cracked) plus, all the normal militance. It still runs smooth like it was new.

My husband and myself purchased a super nice truck today. Our salesman was Matt Lyons, we was very knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. He provided all the information we needed to make a great purchase. He allowed us to look all we wanted to, but if we had questions he was easy to find. He didn't force himself on us. Salesman like Matt are few and far between. I advise anyone looking to purchase a great vehicle, look up Matt. We will definitely be back for another great vehicle. I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

Trent did a great job at showing us options for what we were looking for in a pre-owned car. He was a wealth of information and very professional and friendly. There was good follow-up after the sale.

Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

Emails were great but unfortunately I was a day late and vehicle was sold already. Just bad luck. Nothing bad to say about dealership because it never got to a point of judgement.

Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.
