I own a beautiful Blue Jean color F 250. The truck rides nice and gives a commanding view of the road. It’s reliable and quiet. The only issue I have is a malfunctioning door lock. It stopped working within 2 years of use. My dealership was not very helpful or caring. That’s is a downer. But I love my truck.

This is definitely a well built truck. Rugged and durable plus a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing interior. Bought it primarily for farm use and towing trailers. However, after riding in the spacious cab my wife is now making plenty of travel plans for places we can take it.

I bought this Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.7L Diesel 4X4 truck to replace a Ford F-350 6.0L 4x4 that had reached its end of life. The newer 6.7L engine is FAR superior to the 6.0L engine in performance, economy, low-end torque, frankly every aspect as far as I'm concerned. I went back to the F-250 platform because it is MUCH easier to maneuver and is lighter weight which helps improve the MPG significantly. VERY PLEASED

I had made a previous trip to Shottenkirk Toyota on September 12th and met with salesman, Brendon Powell. I had wanted to trade in a Nissan Titan and after discovering that truck had issues, Brendon had to tell me that they could not make a trade, it was tough on him but at least he was truthful. I made my next trip to Shottenkirk on September the 19th with another vehicle to trade in on a Toyota Tundra and I made appointment with Brendon Powell again. This was a good choice since he knew all the information from before. Brendon worked extremely hard to have the vehicle I had pick out work but with my previous new Titan hanging over me he was having issues making financials meeting my demand. Brendon continued to work on my case and brought in Danielle from finance to assist me, while Danielle was explaining me details she received a call, and said she had good news, a truck had arrived that was not listed and that truck would fit my budget!! I would like to commend both Brendon and Danielle because they listened and worked with me to find a truck that would fit my budget and my needs. I have been let down by Nissan with a lemon truck but Shottenkirk redeamed my faith in dealerships and I left with a new Tundra that without those two working together I would have never achieved.

Over the past 30+ years, I have purchased ~8 different 3/4 ton trucks, mostly diesel fords. The 2017 F250 Platinum has not disappointed, no engine issues and tows like a champ. My only complaint would be the seats are small and the comfort is terrible. You don't really notice it until you drive 5 or 6 hours and you have to stop because your butt and legs are killing you. This was not true with older models where driving across country was a breeze. Ford is not alone in downsizing the seating, even the airlines have done it.

Integrity, Honesty, Character??? I know these are not usually associated with a used car dealership. That is why I was amazed by Mark and his staff at AutoPlace. Like most places He gave a 30 day warranty, but looked me in the eye and assured my He would take care of any problems to make sure my van was what I expected. 3 Weeks in my engine light came on. I took it to Mark and the test showed a bad O2 sensor. He gave me a loaner car while the 02 sensor was replaced. No charge. After the 30 day period was up, I noticed I didn't have reverse lights. I call Mark, he says bring it in. He gives me a loaner car while he has the reverse lights fixed. No Charge!!! Then after 60 days my engine light comes on again and van is running a little rough. Once again I call Mark and he says bring it in. Repeated misfire on one cylinder. Once again he gives me a loaner car and pays for a full tune up at no charge to me. I know approximately how much these repairs run and these were not cheap repairs. I am 58 years old and have never had someone go out of their way to make sure I was taken care of like Mark, Lilly, and his staff at Autoplace. Highly recommended. ---Mark Burkett

I got my crew cab 2019 F250 XLT with the 6.2L for 37k in 2020 with 22k miles on it. I’ve put 25k miles on it in two years and It’s been ok, the cab is very spacious, first thing people say when they open the back doors is “this thing is a limo!” And trust me it’s the best thing for moving. I love the fold up backseats, it’s just that much more cargo space. Mine also has the pop up organizer under the seat which is perfect for grocery shopping, and keeping tools from rolling around. She’s pretty quick for her size too which I enjoy, I’ve had no running issues yet but honestly I’m not impressed with its Towing capabilities. I had my older 7200lb superduty on a trailer and the 2019 seemed to have a hard time figuring out what gear it wanted to be in even with tow mode on while doing 30-40mph. Between that, the heat shield breaking drive shafts recall, and the death wobble I’m sad to say I’m a bit scared of how reliable this thing will be in the long term. I have mine on the list for a new steering dampener to fix it’s death wobble but parts are back ordered “could be 2 weeks or 6 months” the dealership told me. Luckily Ford will cover it cuz it’s a widespread known issue tho. I love the ride and the space, but the mpg is killing me at 15mpg when my 2000 f250 also gets 12-15! 19 years of improvements for the same fuel mileage? Kind of pathetic! My 2000 is just a better truck even with the smaller 5.4L. when it comes to hauling, towing and yanking trees out of the ground the old girl takes the cake!

I got the king ranch edition and simply it is really awsome! I love my truck! The only thing is not a gas saver (10 miles per gallon on city)

Runs good, its in good condition, snow plow and salt sprayer included both where only used for two years. Tires are like new. Engine and transmission work well.

I love my truck!!!! i have a 2013 F250 crew cab with the 6.7 diesel. Bought it with 114k and now it has 150k. It has been very reliable and I can trust it to go anywhere. There have been somethings that affect the 11-16 model years, and all 6.7 diesels. In the 11-16 model years, the body mounts WILL have to be changed if they haven't, Ford used xxxxty ones from the factory. If you option for the diesel, you WILL have to upgrade the cold side intercooler pipe, the factory on WILL fail, just a matter of when. Other than that, its a great truck, and they are truly built to last. Not bad for a truck that's almost 10years old

I had an F-150 for 12 years that ran forever with over 150k on it. Unfortunately I was rear ended at high speed and bent the frame. I found my 2005 Ford F-250 Diesel a couple of weeks later. The pulling power is amazing, it does take some gas as mine is lifted but it looks amazing for a 2005. I have 134k on it and it has so much more to go. Keep it serviced and you will absolutely love this truck. I will not let her go until she does not drive anymore. My 6.0 Powerstroke is amazing. Remember to plug her in the winter and you will have no problems.

Recently purchased a nee to me ram 3500 pickup from Dennis Hackler from Silver star motors. He worked with the with me the whole step of way(I was purchasing from out of state)during the process. He even had a Uber pick me up front the airport and drop me off at the dealership. My truck was sitting out front fueled up and ready to go. Mine is an F250 Lariat (+Lariat value package) Diesel 4x2 ordered in August 2019 and picked up in Oct 2019 and currently has just over 29,000 miles. Mileage is ~19 MPG @ 70MPH not towing and with a Roll n Lock bed cover. I read these other reviews and am somewhat stunned by all the recall complaints. I had one: for wiring under the driver’s seat. Maybe it was the 4x4 models or those with all the super-duper interior gadgets causing the recalls. Other than two cracked front mud flaps, I’ve had nothing go wrong and really do enjoy the truck. No complaints on the ride - it’s a dang super duty truck so I do not expect it to ride like a sedan. What I really like: the exterior mirrors - they nailed it for fantastic coverage. B&O sound system is great, the quiet ride is surprising, retractable step on tailgate, it’s nice having three memory settings (part of option package), great that it still has knobs for volume, radio tuning, temperature etc, dashboard information is customizable, fit and finish is really quite good. The engine, what’s not to like other than diesel being really expensive right now. I also like the Ford app allowing me to see where the vehicle is located, start it, lock it, and a number of other bits of info as well. What I dislike: Mostly it’s how the controls are designed…Cruise control controls - very outdated in this model but might be better on newer models. Headlights (reg, not LED) are just OK, but the brights really do not do much. Generally dislike all the left hand controls: dash lighting stinks-you have to find/look at it and then hold a button to increase or a separate button to decrease - rotary or rocker style control is much easier and does not require eyes off the road to use. The exterior mirror adjustment control has the typical pad to adjust the mirror itself, but each mirror has a non-descript selector button to activate/arm the adjustment for that side vs a simple and tactile distinct slide to ‘arm’ the side for adjustment. You have to do this each time because once you ‘arm’ a side, it goes inactive after a bit so if you are one needing to fiddle with the driver mirror a lot, you’ll have to activate it each time. Again, you kind of have to look at it to begin the adjustment sequence.

This truck meet all the wants and needs we wanted in our vehicle. The only thing is I wish they still made the beds smaller like the 2012 have. Otherwise, it is amazing. Good get up and go and smooth ride.
