2024 F250 Lariat Diesel HO is a luxury truck with all of the amenities and safety features that one could want. It handles great, has a much improved turning radius and a very comfortable ride.

Buying cars from a dealership has always been a painful experience. I always hated the delays, the salesman that would sell you anything and the general feeling these firms could care less about you as a customer. As a result, I have never felt any loyalty towards a particular dealership and just looked around until I found something wherever I happened to be. That changed last November when a friend recommended Lucas Ford. Living near Riverhead, I passed a half dozen different dealerships on my way to Southold (two of which I had purchased from before). I was amazed at the level of service and quite frankly the feeling of trust which I developed during my first visit and I purchased a vehicle on that visit. Unfortunately my other car developed a severe problem which left me with thousands of dollars of repairs on a car which still owed two years of payments. I went to Lucas and they really helped me out of a bad situation with a great vehicle, warranty and affordable payments. I worked with the same sales person but was surprised when Howard Lucas the owner became personally involved. When I came back a couple of days later to pick up my purchase, the tires on the used vehicle had all been replaced free of charge. This was the first time I have ever been a repeat customer at a dealership and I have no planes to ever go anywhere else. This was really a great experience.

Dealt with Billy, sales manager, Frank, salesperson, and Dennis, finance-person. Professional and honest (all three). We drove 3 - 4 hours from Connecticut to see a 2018, Ford Edge, SEL. Of course, I called for it’s availability. After speaking with Billy, he advised me to think it over before taking such a long drive, however, he will gladly hold the vehicle for 4 hours without any strings attached. He asked that I call him, if I changed my mind from the drive so he can sell the car if needed be. He promised that the car will be available for my family. We took the journey! We arrived 4 hours later. The car was there! Met Billy. He immediately introduced us to Frank. Frank was ready, kind, and professional. Catered to my family and trusted us with car. After 30-45 minutes of test driving. We came back, ready to “negotiate”. Ready, to go “back-and-forth” with the sales people. Ready, to hear the “hidden fees”. We met with Frank, and guess what?! No dealer fees! No doc fees! The price you see, that’s it! We even got a discount on the vehicle! Yes, in this market! We got a discount! We bought the car. I had a problem with Otis Ford during my first visit to their service department. I let them know and their recovery has been unbelievable. Trust and relationships are built when things are tough, not when everything goes well. I own a beautiful Blue Jean color F 250. The truck rides nice and gives a commanding view of the road. It’s reliable and quiet. The only issue I have is a malfunctioning door lock. It stopped working within 2 years of use. My dealership was not very helpful or caring. That’s is a downer. But I love my truck.

Purchased the platinum with Fox/BDS 4” coil over front w/ upgraded arms and dual sterling stabilizers on 37’s. Dream truck, tons of power and comfort. Has been in the shop for 4 months with 7 electrical failures. Great truck when it runs.

This is definitely a well built truck. Rugged and durable plus a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing interior. Bought it primarily for farm use and towing trailers. However, after riding in the spacious cab my wife is now making plenty of travel plans for places we can take it.

This truck has functioned over the years as both a workhorse and a passenger vehicle. With the 460 cid V-8 I've never lacked for power to tow or haul anything. Easily handles 2,000 lbs on back and is a monster in snow.

Over the past 30+ years, I have purchased ~8 different 3/4 ton trucks, mostly diesel fords. The 2017 F250 Platinum has not disappointed, no engine issues and tows like a champ. My only complaint would be the seats are small and the comfort is terrible. You don't really notice it until you drive 5 or 6 hours and you have to stop because your butt and legs are killing you. This was not true with older models where driving across country was a breeze. Ford is not alone in downsizing the seating, even the airlines have done it.
