Proper service and repair the first time.
On Feb 7, 2023 I took my Fiat 500 Sport to Bolton Dodge in Port Arthur Texas for repairs. I had a drive belt brake and lost all power. My service advisor was Nathan Dicus. I decided to leave the Fiat for the service department to check the vehicle over and replace the drive belt. a few days later I received a call from Nathen Dicus that the air condition compressor had frozen up snapped the drive belt. The cost for repairs was going to be $3,228.97 dollars. I thought that was a bit high for the repairs but I advised Nathan to go ahead and make the repairs to the Fiat. On Friday February 17, 2023 Nathan call and advised that the fiat was ready to go. I live in Kirbyville, Texas which is about 65 or 70 miles to Port Arthur. So on February 17 I went and picked up the Fiat. I towed the Fiat home with my RV tow bar. After returning Home I parked the vehicle in my RV storage building. The next day I had to go to Jasper, Texas. When I went out and started the Fiat I noticed the air conditioner was not cooling the car. The next day I called the Bolton service department but at the I time could not get ahold of Nathan so I decided to take the Fiat back in to Bolton to see why. with all the repairs done the vehicle why the air conditioner was not working. I waited for the Fiat to be check over and see why the compressor was nor pumping cold air. Well, according to Nathan the air condition system was leaking freon and that some repairs need to be done. After a few hours of waiting Nathan came to the waiting room and said the car was ready to go that the repair found the air condition system leaking Freon but was repaired and ready to go. On the way home I noticed that the air conditioner was cooling but did not seem to be very much. By the time I got home there was very little if any cool air coming from the air condition system. The next day I try tried to contact the service department with very little luck. Today is Friday February 24, 2023 and I plan to just take my Fiat back to Bolton in Part Arthur and drive the 65 or70 miles one way to try the car fixed once and for all (maybe). In addition, I don't mind paying for the cost for repairs but the need to be done right the first time.
