Used Ford Transit Connect for sale near Orland Park, IL under $20,000

I had a good experience buying my car from Chicago Cars US. Albert was my salesman, who greeted us with a friendly demeanor. Albert was knowledgeable regarding my car and answered all of our questions. Chicago Cars US staff from Albert, Jacob and Chris were friendly and very professional. My biggest peeve is the tailgate isn’t powered. Ordered the top of the line mr Model sight unseen because my dealership didn’t carry them. I wanted all the bells and whistles. Powered lift gate isn’t an option. It is painful to my injured spine to lift it and manually move the rear seats. The grandkids love the 3rd seat and I love the storage space behind it. I have made a Sam’s run for the month and able to pack everything behind the 3rd seat. The inside is great for human comfort but not for shopping or I should say storing packages. To be honest, my front seats are ALL THE WAY back. I have plenty of room and that’s a lot. I don’t like being close to the steering wheel in case of an accident. I wish the slots for charging my devices weren’t so close to the driver’s cup holder. It’s too easy for liquids to Spill in them. The only other item I wish was different is I miss a hard copy manual. There are options I still don’t know how to use. My GPS is not updated because of that. I like the van. My grandkids and dogs like it. Tomorrow I will get up, remove the two blankets I have protecting them floors and spend hours vacuuming the dog hair out the fabric on the back of the seats and floors. I have leather seats but there’s still Too much surface that holds onto my Husky’s and Belgian Shepherd’s ‘Glitter’. I do have to double check my doors are locked when I leave them in the car with the AC running. I have to use the remote because the double tap of the horn alert is deceiving. It doesn’t mean the door is locked. I do appreciate how easy it is to unlock the car without having the remote in my hand. All in all, it served the reasons I purchased it. I do wish I had paid the extra money for the Sprinter. But it would not have fit in my garage nor my budget.

I bought a 2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT from Julian with 200k miles. I paid a very reasonable price for the condition it was in. On the test drive I noticed much electrical work had needed to be done to get this vehicle in tip-top shape and I expected that scenario with a used vehicle. I have adequate knowledge in cars and can read a repair/wiring manual. I replaced the dash gauge cluster, all the window switches, heated seat switches and upgraded the headlights and fog lights to LED not to mention 4 parking sensors. The engine is pristine, yes, I said pristine! Runs and shifts smoothly and flawlessly. After a little outside professional body scratch and ding repair I know have a new looking, outstanding running vehicle with customized led lighting to include blue dash back lights. I paid $4200.00 for the vehicle and invested another $2500.00 (including paint). Total investment of $6700.00. I can't find another one even near $6700.00. All that's left out there are also high miles for $10,000.00 and above in worst looking shape and that's not counting mechanical issues you can't see in a photo. If you buy a used vehicle, you had better know something about doing some repairs yourself... or you can expect to shell out some major coin!

Bought a brand new in 2019 Transit Connect, since then we only had to change the brakes and oil !!!! Love this van. Works fine for our company needs. The money that we saved on gas alone is priceless (27/28 MPG). I decided to write this now because this is the only Ford product that didn't disappoint us. Hopefully they start making this work horse again soon.

I started driving in 1975 and I wish that this model was made back then! My little Transit XLT has the tinted windows all around and is converted into a "mini RV" complete with a bed that slides out to accommodate two full grown adults. Not only has this been a blessing on cross country trips but also on my daily runs. The cargo space is fantastic and the van sips gas...This has been one of my favorite vehicles I've owned in the 47 years I have driven.

This vehicle met my needs. I needed a vehicle that I could get my Labradoodle in easy and it is. You can even takes the back seats out to make more room. I do wish that it got better gas mileage.

I've owned a 2010 Transit Connect since 2014 and it has been the best vehicle I've owned. I use it for work and haul a lot of movie production gear in it. Most of the time it stays half full and I drive it that way. It's been reliable and only needed standard maintenance, except for the transmission. I knew the transmission was a weak link when I bought it at 94,000 mis. It bit the dust at 120,000 mis. I had a rebuilt one installed and was assured that it'll be good for another 120,000 mis. I'm at 160,000 and it is still going strong.

The Transit Connect has been great, comfortable, reliable, fun to drive ( a van fun to drive) YES. Very good fuel mileage, smooth transmission, accurate cruise control, precise steering, comfortable seats and the vista roof that gives a great open feeling. Whats not to like? It could use a bit more power, another 50 horsepower would make a big difference, torque is good though. Only one small issue for warranty, a very small A/C leak at 26,000 miles, the dealer fixed. Other than that it's been bullet proof. The wife loves it. We get many questions and comments on it from passerby's wanting to know more. Totally satisfied with this vehicle, would recommend it highly.

Purchased van 2 years ago. It needed motor mounts so I checked locally $140-250 just for parts at the parts store. I got a complete set (front, rear and bottom strut) for $35 from Amazon Prime and it took me about 45 minutes to replace them. It helps if you have an air wrench and a jack. I put a van rug in the cargo area which quiets it down considerably. It runs like a watch,just keeps on going, I had a Lexus and the dealer offered me more than I had in it. Now I drive the van every day and enjoy it. I put a much better stereo in and it sounds great. Now I can lock up my fishing gear and not have to unload the van when I return. The 2013 is a high top and I love that, It gets 27 mpg regular gas. No need to replace the Lexus. The plates and insurance are much cheaper, too, Hope this helps,

Ease to get into the seats. Comfortable bucket seats. Spacious storage ability. Wide doors. I feel very safe driving this vehicle. Ford Motor Company has always been the #1 product for my family. My husband loves the extra leg room provided by this model and we enjoy bringing our family with us to restaurants and shows. The seats are easily lowered to provide extra storage space.

Salesman was not pushy. Very helpful. There were a few cosmetic issues with the vehicle, but they had just gotten it in and out did not concern me. The appearance of the dealership is very basic, but I think that is part of the reason they don't have a ton of fees. They were very transparent about everything.

This car exceeds all expectations. It gets amazing gas mileage and provides ample power considering its 4 cylinder engine. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is operating a small business.

Good for me to carry my musical equiptment. I first saw this van over in the United Kingdom before they brought them from Europe to the USA. I loved the look of this little truck and when they made it to the US I knew I would have to get one. I like the earlier design 2013 and back. Mine is a 2013 wagon version. I have a removable curtain to hide the cargo area and my windows are tinted out black to hide my cargo. It's fun to drive but doesn't win any races. No problem passing on the freeway when you are up to speed. It's a European economy vehicle which is what I wanted. It's like a Mini or a VW Beetle with much more room. Hopefully it will prove mechanically reliable, only had mine a little over a month. Love it!

Sells great quality vehicles. There commercial vehicles are gone through to make sure everything is right, I have owned my box truck for 3 years so far and have had no problems, will buy again.

It is very nice in general and especially for a minivan! Feels ellegant, gets good gas mileage, seats my entire family comfortably, has cargo room as well! My only complaint would be, I wish there were more little storage pockets, like around the center console. Where you can hook your phone up (to charge) via USB port I would like a little slot or small pocket to set the phone in. Because once Bluetooth is set up I don't need to touch my phone again until getting out of the car and there really is not a great spot to set it. Otherwise there are lots of other cubbies/cup holders/pockets around in the van, just not for my phone. Styling inside and out is wonderful, sleek, you can tell alot of thought went into it. I don't think I would want any color other than the magnetic gray, this vehicle looks sharp in that color. The bright blue or white looks a little goofy on this sleek (in front) to boxy (in the rear) shape. Great buy and decent prices on these.

Very roomy and more economical than the EPA rating. It's more practical than the typical SUV or minivan on the market.

This vehicle holds all my work tools with a low back end for easy lifting. The dash is difficult to read with the headlights on unless it's dark. It does have blind spots due to only having two side sirrors. It is very reliable.
