I have owned the car for nearly 6 yrs, and it previously was owned by the Porsche dealer's owner, so I knew it was well taken care of for the 13000 miles on it before I bought it. I have put on 62K miles and have had relatively few problems, nothing major. Normal maintenance and expenses are not cheap, but love the feel and looks of the car. Previously only owned 2 door Porsches and never thought I would buy a 4 door. Glad I got the car.

Great overall little commuter hatchback. We got ours a few years old with low mileage due to the options we wanted. The other reviews are kind of silly on here, complaining about a car due to lack of options selected by the buyer. Yes it wont have heated seats if you dont get the heated seat models lol. Our model is the EX, it has a sunroof, blind mirror indicator, heated seats, and a manual 6 speed transmission. Basically all features any high end model could use, I dont like leather seats due to the degradation long term. Just make sure you avoid the CVT transmission. Our area would not offer manual 6 speed on the high end trim so we had to travel out of state to get ours. Few mods added to the car to make it even better: - bi-led projector retrofit on headlights - led bulbs all around, plates, interior. - auto dim rear view mirror (easy wire in) - front facing dash cam - sirius satellite radio - winter aluminum rims (instead of steelies), summer has factory 17" aluminum black/silver combo - towing hitch (bike carrier) -- vehicle rated at 2000 lbs Overall its been very reliable, super practical with the folding seats. It gets excellent fuel efficiency and fits everywhere. Power wise, its very snappy given with a manual transmission you can control it a lot better than the sloppy CVT. The manual does 0-60mph in 8 seconds or less, which is very fast for a little car. Its not a tesla or a GTR with 130hp but its plenty for its 36-40 mpg. One issue ours had was the starter went out really early, but it was an easy change out, its a known issue. The seats are not very comfortable for long trips but thats because they are so small and its a commuter car. The cam gear also can get noisy on these at start up, so they will rattle but has no impact to performance. We have just over 100k miles on ours and its a very strong little car, will be getting another one of the final production year as this one gets higher in mileage. Again get the manual 6, you will not regret it, honda manual cars are semi automatic, the clutch is like a feather vs. a subaru for example. Totally worth it.

Based on a recommendation from a long time friend, I decided to contact Union Auto Sales when it came time for me to trade in my car. I informed the gentleman, over the phone, of what kind of car I was looking for and how much I was willing to spend. He advised me to come to the lot and take a look at a few cars, and also told me that he would give me a price for my trade in. It might have just been good luck, but the day I went to the dealership, the owner had the newer version of the Honda Civic that I had been driving for the past 10 years and offered me a decent price for the trade in of my old car as well. Both guys on the lot, Pat and Tommy, are EXTREMELY knowledgable and helpful when it comes to their business. They worked with me (despite not-so-great credit) and I was able to leave with my new Honda the same day! I have had a lot of other bad experiences when it came to buying cars, and was really hesitant when my friend told me to check out Union Auto Sales. The guys have been in business on the same lot for over 15 years, and I'm not surprised. I will absolutely be back for my next car!

Purchased for my wife's 80 + mile daily commute. She drove it daily for over 10 and a half years. All maintenance done by the Honda Dealer in Saratoga Springs, NY Great service, by the way. A very trouble free car. She decided to purchase a new CRV earlier this year. I now drive the Insight for my daily 40 mile commute. I average 58MPG, as I drive it very easy and avoid the interstate. It now has 228,000 miles and still going strong! I highly recommend this if you don't mind its lower performance but it pays back in great gas mileage. I fill up every 14 to 16 days for less than $18.00. Can't say enough about how good of a car this is. My son is turning 16, in a few months. This will be his 1 car. I am looking for another one for myself.

I was in the process of buying a used Ford F-150 . With no luck in shopping around with other dealers. I came across High Quality Auto and noticed a few trucks that I was interested in. So I filled out one of the forms on Sunday night and Jay called me Monday morning. I really have to say Jay is very professional and the business does no beat around the bush about their trucks. Even though my truck is a 2010 which is what I was shopping for it runs and feels like a new truck. I leased this car initially after having leased a GT Coupe for 3 years and needed a larger car for expanding family. I recently bought it out of the lease because I truly can’t imagine a better car in its class. It’s exhilarating to drive even in my 4th year of ownership. It looks imposing but not flashy, it sounds excellent (though admittedly the coupe sounded more muscle car like which I loved), is extremely fast and capable yet also very comfortable when you want to relax. Loaded with technology, large trunk that can easily fit two international check in luggage, massaging seats, great bolstering/support. Plus all wheel drive so car be a great all season car if you live somewhere with rain/snow, just make sure you swap the tires for winter ones as the Michelin pilot sport cup 2s are slippery in those conditions. If you’re looking for something that does it all and has supercar performance, this is a tremendous (in my view, best) option. I own a land rover defender 90 first edition, Ram 1500 limited, and Ferrari 599 gtb. This is my daily driver as it does everything the other three do (even faster than the Ferrari in fact) apart from hauling my bullmastiff, which I always use the ram for (though he used to ride in this GT when he was still a puppy). Anyways, don’t hesitate, this car is perfection.

Volkswagen did a great job refining the MK8 GTI. Key points -One of the best handling FWD cars mainly due to the LSD, XDS and suspension refinement. -Very smooth power deliver almost 0 turbo lag. - 40th anniversary has to be the best value purchase as it comes standard with DCC and IQ lightings which are only available on the highest trim. The negatives include: -The infotainment can be improved wireless android and apple car play need to be standard. Can't set your phone properly on the wireless charger when the phone is attached to the wire. - Compared to the MK7 the coin holder and the sliding storage below the driver sear is missing. -Unable to disable auto start and stop feature permanently as restores to default on every time you start the vehicle.
