The last of the great accords. Purchased 2007 accord ex 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine in 2011 with 46,000 miles. I currently have 160,000 miles on the car. Up to recently it was just basic maintenance, oil brakes and tires etc. I had no mechanical repairs until the car was 16+ years and 150k miles, then it was just starter, control arms and 1 lower ball joint. The check engine light came on recently for the 1st time ever at 159,000. It was an oxygen sensor which I was able to replace myself. Before this car I had a VW jetta where the check engine was never off. Great car it runs and drives the same as when I first got it. Hope to drive for another 100k miles.

This is the first Honda I have owned and I absolutely love my car. I've always like to looks of the 6th gens and got mine for a smoken price from my co-worker. This car is super easy to work on. Especially with all of the videos that are out there. I've done all kinds of upgrades to it and parts are pretty reasonable. I just did a motor swap on it. It only had 369,000 +/- miles and it still has the original automatic transmission. Infact, most of if not all the parts I have replace where original. What an amazing car.

My son looked at cars and was not hassled. People answered questions for him. He bought a 2014 Kia FORTE 5 EX hatchback. Blue, ha is happy!

We bought our 2007 Honda Accord as a CPO car in 2010 and have had it for 13 years now. It has the V6 engine, which we found to be very reliable; the engine has never needed a repair. The automatic transmission has also been trouble-free. This is the fastest car I've owned - almost too fast for us now that we're older. Like the 2004 Accord sedan we also owned until recently, this car has been a wonderful value. We have 137,800 miles on the car now, and I really think it will last at least that many more.

I have had the Honda LX for almost 3 1/2 years now and it’s such a reliable car. It drives good (and I drive it hard may I add) have only had to fix the brakes and roders just a week ago, it does burn oil like crazy and I replaced a couple tires that kept popping but other than that it’s good on gas, a smooth ride, I never plug it in in the winter and may I add it gets to -30 here and it starts every time. My car is all black tinted led lights she is nice to look at beautiful body (model) I like this car out of the 13 cars I’ve had and this is one of the older cars too I’ve had but I just love it for some reason. I would definitely recommend it. I purchased mine for a little over $7600 from a family member did some upgrades to it take good care of it mechanically the inside is always clean (some scruffs here and there as it’s an older car) but I’m sure i could sell it for $5500-$6000. Definitely a good buy and worth it.

Man it’s 2025 and my 2005 4banger Honda accord is pushing great. Nothing but oil changes, battery change. Thing just keeps going. Current mileage 205,000… still makes it from Sacramento California to San Diego no problem.

I own the car for almost 20 years now. ZERO issues, runs smooth and am gifting it to my son who will take it to another state. It can easily last another 7-10 years if he can take care of it. You cannot easily beat an Accord. It’s a rock solid car.

The only issue I had with mine was the led taillights that didn’t always work properly and it was frustrating because they would work perfectly for a while but started having some of the led lights would appear out and give the impression of a problem with them

Be aware that this generation of vehicle, due to the aging of the original engines, excess oil may be required to operate this vehicle in between oil changes. Oil changes will also be a more frequent occurrence. This vehicle uses 5W-20 conventional. The first positive attribute of this vehicle is reliability. If the vehicle is taken care of it will last 300k miles and onward. The Accords with manual transmissions are rumored to last longer than ones equipped with automatic transmissions. On a separate side note, Honda is known in the automotive community for reliability. Low maintenance cost is a secondary positive of this vehicle. The second positive attribute of this vehicle is the fuel-efficiency of the 4-cylinder engine. Gets around 25-30 mpg if driven conservatively. Varies depending on the configuration of your vehicle. The third positive attribute of this vehicle is the NHTSA Safety Rating. The driver and passenger side received 5/5 stars in testing, while the side and rollover components of the test received 4/5 stars. The fourth positive attribute of this vehicle is some of its features. Some of the more notable features include the power windows, radio, and the ice-cold a/c capabilities. The fifth positive attribute of this vehicle is the optional towing package you can have installed with a Second-Party installer. The sixth positive attribute of this vehicle is that it is perfect for high school or college students. The seventh positive attribute of this vehicle is the lower insurance rates. Not recommended for plus-sized people or people who have disabilities or conditions that prevent them from entering a car this way. The fourth negative attribute is that DIY Modifications / Additions are not recommended. Honda will void warranties on anything that is not OEM. All aftermarket additions are at risk with their current policy. The fifth negative attribute is the power steering fluid module. Units love to consistently leak and cause the vehicle to have difficulty turning. The sixth negative attribute is a lower towing capacity. The seventh negative attribute is no 4x4. They are in the midst of expanding their car lot and do not have a structured building. They only have a mobile unit currently on the property so it's a bit disorganized right now. Sales personnel did not seem very friendly but they also aren't pushy which I liked. Most of the cars exteriors were really dirty from a dust storm that occurred a couple of weeks ago. They have a large inventory of vehicle choices.

I agree with most of the ratings except I don't know how it gets a 4.4 for comfort. The driver's seat is terrible. No matter how I tried to adjust it I end up with a sore back.

I had a very nice experience with the owner. He seemed fair and down to earth. It did not want to see me have to do extra for him to show his courteous nature.

This is a great car. Styling and handling are great. Plenty of room inside. V6 has plenty of power. Start burning oil at about 180k. Had to replace coil packs, spark plugs and alternator at 200k. Check engine light recently came on but still running strong at 215k!

My Honda Accord is going to be one of my favorite cars. It is very reliable and spacious. Ever since I purchased it it never gave me problems.

The dealer was very honest about the vehicle. So we did brought Audi Q5 without warranty but AS IS. I really hope the vehicle last is a long time.

Stylish V6 Accord in forest green. Sharp ride with a fine beige leather interior. I loved this car. She drove smoothly and had some pull in the acceleration. Roomy for bigger folks like me and well laid out in buttons, panels, etc. Sorry to have to retire the old girl. She stood by me for fifteen years.

I bought this car new in 5/2000 and drove it 191k miles. I never had a break down or major repair. I kept up the suggested maintenance all the time I owned it. I purchased another car this year but just cannot love it like my Accord.

I was always a Toyota (because of there trucks and their flawless reliability) and Mazda driver. Several MX-5s and RX7's. I had an 87 Accord DX that was very high mileage and although the transmission would slip if you eased around or went WOT, it never broke or left me stranded. Next was a 95 EX coupe with very low miles bought during the COVID terror days. It sat alot with only 95,000 miles and had to have an alternator, master cylinder, and CV axle within the 2,000 miles of ownership. The VTEC did offer some decent go and the 5 speed made it more engaging. I currently have a 94 LX wagon. Automatic, non VTEC, no ABS. 130,000K and mostly garage kept, it is nearly flawless outside and like new within. HOWEVER: There are a few things that you will experience with a 5th gen Accord. 1. The windows with get stuck eventually from friction. The rubber seals that run parallel with the window track has to be lubricated weekly or you'll have to pull the windows up (assist). 2. You'll likely have to replace a brake master cylinder if it's still the original. 3. Vehicle speed sensor. If automatic, when it fails your without speedometer and the transmission gets real pissy because it doesn't know what gear it should usually be in. Still drivable but don't recommend. 4. Bad leak in the floorboard. Comes from the drainage that comes from the windshield and is channeled down the fender (inside) the grommet comes loose where the wiring goes into the car. Replace grommet and silicon. Fixed. With all these relatively easy to fix issues, you'll have very reliable, great handling, low fuel consumption, and decent looks. I LOVE the wagon, fold down the seats and take alot of whatever. Plus if your brave or stupid like me and remove the spare from beneath the floor, you can take more than enough "better safe than sorry" items and they stay out of sight and your way. Great cars. Not fast but even for a 30 year old car, the ergonomics and dash, interior setup and design doesn't come off dated or tacky. I would get an EX if you can, but that will get about 15-20hp, ABS, maybe leather and a moon roof. I can live without them, but they sweeten the package. Also, charged the A/C on a hunch. Works GR8! That's quality.

Amazing car, but the door windows are so large, even the slightest bit of being rolled down blows rear passengers away! Not to mention the back glass causes the rear passengers a bit of a sun burn as well! Also, the clear coat on the car literally disintegrated within a few years, even with proper care. Other than that, the Vtec is a nice feature, power everything is also nice.

This car was used but very well taken care of. I usually prefer Hondas and I was extremely excited when I purchased it. It runs great, has low miles and I expect it to last me for a long time.

DO NOT BUY THE V6 DO BUY THE 4 CYLINDER! What a super reliable car the k24 accords are, my 2004 currently sits with 882,009 miles, that ISNT a typo, minimal repairs and very insanely reliable. However My 2004 Honda accord EXL V6 sits with only 77,200 miles and it’s SECOND transmission just blew AGAIN, first one exploding at only 38,900 miles! STAY FAR AWAY from the v6 automatic and even the manuals are known to have issues but not as costly. The 4 cylinder is incredibly cheap to repair, efficient and over the 880k miles I’ve replaced commonly the V-TEC solenoids, their filters get all dirty and requires only removing 4 bolts behind engine head, very simple. Air filters, oil, transmission fluid, and brakes (all Hondas are notoriously known to warp their rotors, luckily they are very simple and cheap to replace, I recommend rockauto and don’t buy cheap foreign parts on eBay unless you simply don’t care about your car.

I am the second owner of this vehicle going on 26 years old. It has 217,000 miles and is still running strong. I am a stickler about regular maintenance. What I do regret is I goofed up and neglected to change the transmission fluid over 100 K miles.Got a code PO 740 and man said that is death knell code for the transmission. Got a code PO 740 and man said that is death knell code for the transmission. I changed out the TCC solenoid myself and changed the transmission fluid two times. Gonna do a third time. But tranny behavior is much improved. and this week I’m going to drain and fill transmission fluid for a third time. I don’t wanna lose my Honda, honey!
