I’ve owned my lx 2008 Honda Element FWD 5 speed manual transmission since i bought it new… replaced 1 alternator, 1 water pump, i’m on my 3rd clutch but i also have almost 400,000 miles on it it’s more than paid for itself and still runs great… I’d trust it to go anywhere

I LOVE this vehicle. I am the second owner and my daughter and I have had so much fun on trips camping, actually climbing mountains in 2wd in the summer and setting up camp above. This is my second Honda Element and it is perfect for transporting 1 large dog and 2 cats in kennels to the mountain cabin and return. The roomy interior is comfortable and it has no problem at all with snow. Not the best gas mileage but I wouldn’t drive anything else!

My boyfriend has a Honda Element and I adore that car so much. It’s so comfortable no matter where you sit and I love how the doors both open outward so that you can fit really big objects in with ease. Also this car has the BEST SPEAKERS EVER!!! Blah, but that's good. As aerodynamic as a toaster.With the high profile, mpg isn't spectacular. Excellent reliability plus overall versatility make it worthwhile choice. Driver seat is comfortable, but road noise detract somewhat.

Awesome practical car especially for pets and lifestyle. Rear seats fold to the side leaving a flat floor great for dogs. Good to work from also as it will easily carry tools and gear. Not fast but very reliable. AWD good for light off road. I wish Honda would build a modern version.

This car is economical to operate and maintain. It has exceptional capacity for carrying things, so much rear space. It rides well and handles well for being a box on wheels. The exterior style is unique and sporty. The engines are dependable and last forever if you change the oil and filters. If this one was crashed or stolen I would buy another. So versatile. Who needs to spend 60,000 on a car for around town. You can get one like this for 7,000.

I love the element. i am at my second. had a 2005 manual for 18 years. now a 2011 automatic. i have spinal problems and the upright seat position with great head and front room is unmatched by any other car i have ever tried. these cars are so amazingly reliable, age well, and are so roomy and easy to pack. easy in and out passenger seats. excellent cleanability. i could go on. as i said, i love the element. Honda please produce these cars again!

He also gave me great advice on what to do with the vehicle in terms of restoration work that would save me money and time in the long run, while still making sure I would get the best work done on the vehicle. I'm 6'0" and I'm on my 3rd Element. There's no other SUV that has suicide doors and can fit me at the same time. I remember when then they used to call it a Tupperware box on wheels when it first came out. I was saddened when Honda decided to discontinue the Element in 2011. Which is why I had to go buy the last model. I'm hoping they bring it back.

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot EX in 2016 from East Coast Auto Source. It had bullet holes in the body and some shot out windows. I repaired the bullet holes, and had the other repairs completed. Car ran well and it needed some other work. Nine years later, we have 211,000 more miles on the Pilot. It was a good price and East Coast Auto Source was upfront and honest about the repairs and had the car shipped to my mechanic. I would bought another car in 2024 from them and I am happy with the deal.

It can absolutely do whatever you need for daily life. This has it all: storage of a truck/van, compact body of a city car, funky fresh looks of nothing else. All it can't do is race and haul which most people do not need. You can sleep in the back comfortably (I am 6'6 and can do it) and hold any camping equipment you would need. It can do some *light* off roading with some good tires even. The engine and transmission with proper care can last 400k miles easy. All for under 5k.

in 2003 I bought my element brand new and 18 years and 176000 Miles later it is still the best car I've ever owned. Outside it is not huge but inside there is a lot of room 4 passengers and cargo. Anyone who sits in the back always comments on how much legroom and Headroom there is. It is a great snow car as the four-wheel drive always kicks in when it's needed. It has never left me stranded.

I wish that Honda would bring back the Element. It was our family's favorite car. It drove well, had tons of inside space, and was a smooth ride.

This Honda Element has everything I need. 4x4. I spend a lot of time outdoors. Perfect for me. Lots of space to carry tents, fishing poles, coolers etc. Added bonus. It’s 4 wheel drive

1 owner, 397,000 miles. Only replaced starter , alternator and a window regulator . wished it got better gas mileage, but what do you really expect, pushing a box through the wind.

This is the second Element that I have owned. I love the versatility that it has. I can haul everything that I want to then take a house and clean it out if needed. It’s not for everyone but is great for me.
