Blah, but that's good. As aerodynamic as a toaster.With the high profile, mpg isn't spectacular. Excellent reliability plus overall versatility make it worthwhile choice. Driver seat is comfortable, but road noise detract somewhat.

This car is economical to operate and maintain. It has exceptional capacity for carrying things, so much rear space. It rides well and handles well for being a box on wheels. The exterior style is unique and sporty. The engines are dependable and last forever if you change the oil and filters. If this one was crashed or stolen I would buy another. So versatile. Who needs to spend 60,000 on a car for around town. You can get one like this for 7,000.

Dave was patient, actively listened to me describe my situation, and responded by making sure he completely understood my what had been said to him. He was honest in his response to being able to work with my challenging credit situation. He made no promises to get me to come to the location. Even when my credit was great I have never experienced the level of compassion and professionalism as I did with Dave. I've had my 2005 element for 3years. It's had a new belt, oil change, and tires, so far. Not bad for 150000 miles. Cleaning is easy, and good visibility on the road. I do love it.

I’ve owned my lx 2008 Honda Element FWD 5 speed manual transmission since i bought it new… replaced 1 alternator, 1 water pump, i’m on my 3rd clutch but i also have almost 400,000 miles on it it’s more than paid for itself and still runs great… I’d trust it to go anywhere

Love this vehicle! This Honda Element is fun to drive, has a huge back end for hauling stuff, camping, etc. This is one of the rare manual transmissions.....not for everyone but was perfect for my needs. Love it and I feel it will be a great auto for someone looking for this type of SUV.

Reliable, reliable--keep on going. We drove our first one over 300,000, bought a second with 125,000 miles and its still going and just purchased a 2010 with 120,000. These cars cannot be beat

It can absolutely do whatever you need for daily life. This has it all: storage of a truck/van, compact body of a city car, funky fresh looks of nothing else. All it can't do is race and haul which most people do not need. You can sleep in the back comfortably (I am 6'6 and can do it) and hold any camping equipment you would need. It can do some *light* off roading with some good tires even. The engine and transmission with proper care can last 400k miles easy. All for under 5k.

I LOVE this vehicle. I am the second owner and my daughter and I have had so much fun on trips camping, actually climbing mountains in 2wd in the summer and setting up camp above. Awesome practical car especially for pets and lifestyle. Rear seats fold to the side leaving a flat floor great for dogs. Good to work from also as it will easily carry tools and gear. Not fast but very reliable. AWD good for light off road. I wish Honda would build a modern version.

Its a great road tripping car, great on gas if it were an automatic but that would take all the fun away from this vehicle. The plastic material in floor lining is amazing if you have pets; wont have to worry about scratching cushions or dog hair.

1 owner, 397,000 miles. Only replaced starter , alternator and a window regulator . wished it got better gas mileage, but what do you really expect, pushing a box through the wind.
