Used Hyundai ELANTRA for sale near Fort Loudon, PA

Everything went excellent, except when we arrived home my husband removed the front license plate because our state, West Virginia, only needs one plate and we now have five holes on front bumper and you do not sell or supply colored plugs to fill in these holes. He removed it because it is hard to clean around and we can’t believe it took five holes to attach. I’d like to suggest that you only attach the back plate and keep the other in the car until it’s sold and then attach if needed. We now have to try and find something to fill these holes since you do not have anything there available. Some states do only require one license plate so this only makes sense. This is why the four stars, otherwise would have gave a ten if I could. Thank you.

Had a 2022 Elantra for 3 years only reason I got rid of it was the fact it was a lease and the 36000 miles was up and I did not need a 3rd vehicle. Used this car solely for road trips it had been to 28 states in total and never let me down. Car a bit low for bigger people like myself however very comfortable driving, got phenomenal gas mileage I could get from NH to VA on a single tank with gas to spare. Overall not a fan of Hyundai however I wouldn’t hesitate buying another Elantra. Only Con I ever had with this car was the fact it is so low to the ground it makes it a magnet for rocks to the windshield I did replace 3 while owning.

Overall the Elantra is a great commuter car. It has been reliable. We consistently average 35 to 40 mpg with mostly highway driving. The seats are comfortable.

September 18, 2025 was the second time I scheduled an appointment with the Service Manager David Gray at Shively's. I rank David Gray at the top of Service Managers. First, he is kind and caring. His demeanor rings with kindness and heart. I noticed David treated each customer as if the customer were the only one getting service. His voice is cheerful and so genuine and he listens ti customers. Second, he is extremely professional and knowledgeable about the services Shively's offers and the service a customer wants and needs. Third, it is obvious that his technicians and office staff respect him. Fourth, when I left Shively's Service Department both times, I was confident that David Gray and his technicians had serviced my vehicles with the utmost expertise and care. I own a 23' Hyundai Elantra Limited, it has 37,000 miles on it. For the Elantra being the smallest sedan that Hyundai makes, I have been surprised by this car. My 2 previous cars were a Sonata Sport and a Sonata Limited. Pros: comfortable ride - I drive 60+ miles daily to work and I have no complaints about the ride of this car. Sound System: This features Bose speakers, as it is a Limited model. For a factory sound system, it sounds very good. Fuel Mileage: I get between 35 - 37 MPG with some of my daily drive being in stop and go traffic. Maintenance: the only things I have had to do were the normal oil changes, filter changes, and I have replaced the tires. Cool feature is the BlueLink phone app so you can remotely lock, unlock, start the engine to cool down or warm up the interior of the car Cons: hyundai took away the ability to save music to the car stereo and replaced the feature with "nature sounds" Homelink garage door opener was not an option in the Elantra Limited. I would recommend this car to someone that has a limited budget and is looking for a car that is fun to drive and has been reliable.

I bought my Elantra new. Never had to take it in for mechanical problems just front end due to pot holes. The car gave me an average mileage of 5.3/100km. I finally traded up to a newer Elantra. My old car had 483000km, no warning lights or repairs to the engine or transmission. Keep up with your maintenance

Would recommend this car 100 percent to anyone looking for a mid-sized sedan. The only thing that could be changed is a little bit more headroom and I wish my car sat up higher similar to the way an SUV like a Tucson does.

I’ve visited many dealerships in Hagerstown, and many of them are doing their best to squeeze every dollar out of your pocket. Massey is the exact opposite. Our salesperson, Brian Van Winkle, was pleasant, professional and not at all pushy. We purchased the exact vehicle we wanted at a fair price. The finance office was exactly the same way. Told us our options and we picked the one we wanted. This place is a breath of fresh air!

I recently upgraded from my 2010 elantra to a black 2023 elantra sel convince. This is a great car EXCEPT for the paint. the paint on this vehicle was not polished properly in certain spots and after only 3 weeks damage to the clear coat and chips have already occurred! Keep in mind i drive this car the same way i have driven previous cars and never before have i seen so much damage to the paint accumulate in the span of less than a month after purchasing. Great safety features and just enough power- just a crappy paint job. If you are going to purchase this car, silver, gray or white would probably be your best bet.

This car saved my mom’s life. In a five-car accident, she was left spinning and hitting multiple cars. The car’s numerous airbags kept her in place, and the safety figures left her with minor bruises and scratches. The doctors said she’s lucky to be alive. I’ve had the car for two and a half years and only had to replace one part. One note: DO OIL CHANGES; it’s very important for the motor in this car. Loved this car.
