Used Hyundai SONATA for sale near Aquia Harbour, VA under $899,990

I had a very stress free and simple purchase. My salesman Sayed was outstanding — very knowledgeable, very accommodating of changing schedules, and very pleasant to work with. There were none of the “usual tricks” — disappearing with the trade-in keys, asking “what it would take to buy the car today” etc etc. They honored the “internet price” without being asked. The best compliment I can give is that I would go back there to buy another new car.

I bought new in 2015. Now over 110K miles. No issues at all except regular maintenance. It's been one of the best cars I've owned - value, comfort, MPG, etc. It has dated well and doesn't look like a 11 year old car. The 2.4 does burn about a quart of oil every 2K miles. I regularly check the oil level and do all maintenance early. I don't know how it would hold up if I drove it hard or didn't do regular maintenance.....

My overall experience was good I actually got the delivery from the Nissan dealership, which is an old dealership. I wish I gotten from the new Hyundai dealership which is much better. My salesperson was Eric he arranged my car from a different dealership in a day which is good. Ask for Eric he will make your car purchase experience better.

Overall, I really like this car. Nice look inside and out. Easy to clean Internal cabin noise is quiet while driving. Like car notifications inside the car.

2008 4CYL SONATA195K MILES ON IT TODAY - BOUGHT IN 2015 FOR 8K /73K MILES NO ISSUES UNTIL THIS YEAR -AC COMPRESSOR-NOT BAD FOR A 700$ REPAIR 17 YRS LATER ! THE PAINT JOB LEAVES A LITTLE BIT TO DESIRED-SLOWLY REMOVING ITSELF EACH YEAR. DRIVE 1000MILES PER MOTH LOVE LOVE THIS 2008 MODEL -I WOULD BUY THE SONATAS FROM 2008-2010 AFTER THIS. GREAT RIDE.

I drove 3500 dually diesels for 25-30 years and then went to a Honda ridgeline 2018 new, love it until I drove my wife’s new car and decided I needed a car. My best friend had a Hyundai and loved it so I did hours of reviews Hyundai vs many others. All factors considered I decided to test drive a few. All things considered the Hyundai won and a low mileage 2021 caught my eye and I got it. After apps 1000 miles I am so glad I got it. Pros and cons Honda (H) push button start Hyundai (hy) key start, H remote start hy no remote start, H good ride hy better ride, H noisy hy less noisy,H electric keypad with gloves on more user friendly for me, hy parking easier, hy cornering better, H acceleration a bit stronger but hy smoother, both get the job done, I am 74 yo so I understand knobology better than the slow digital control for heat radio etc.,hy wins there- breaks equal, dashboard info hy wins, seems to love Google maps tolerates Waze, I prefer Waze. Pros and cons about not locking keys in car - can’t dash out start it w/o leaving key in ignition,physically gettin and out of the vehicle is harder, in a nutshell the things that matter more to me the hy wins so far.The salesman, Lamar was exceptional, a young family man earning a living by hustling but not rushing! I had work done on my Hyundai Sonata on February 17, 2025 and Josh Durdaller was the Service Advisor. Josh was very courteous & greeted me cheerfully as I approached the desk to do the paperwork for maintenance on my car. Later on he let me know that certain services needed to be done on my car to keep it in good working order. He patiently explained all the work that needed to be done and how long it had been since I had had those services performed. And Josh was right - the services he recommended did need to be done. I trust Josh because I have worked with him throughout the years and he always been honest and straightforward with me. He is very professional in his work. Have a 2020 Sonata SEL with convenience package and it's now 11/24. 26 thousand miles and never had an issue. Car is comfortable reliable and my wife and daughter have our their feet down when I wanted to get another vehicle. My daughter wants it in a few years as I drive carefully, service the car every 4,000 miles. She wants a free car with under 50k miles that will last 200k miles. I have taught her well. She understands a good value. So glad I got the 2.5 non turbo as I believe the engine will be worry free for another 175k miles

I’ve premium Auto version of 2014 Hyundai Sonata. Purchased in 2024 with very low Kms of about 65k but had an issue with starter motor when it came to 70k, other than that, it now runs lit. Been servicing on every 5-7k, it tops comfort & luxury & can challenge any modern car with similar features.

Hi All! I picked up my Sonata SEL w/ Convenience about 4 months ago and man is it pretty. I get compliments all the time. Anyhow, I have just under 2,000 miles on the odo. and figured it would be a good time to leave some first impressions and what it's been like to live with along with some good and not-so-good experiences I've had. First the GOOD: Like I said, it looks amazing. In my opinion, the best looking midsize sedan on the market and everyone seems to love the design. The refinement levels are amazing. Hyundai did an impeccable job quieting this sedan down from the previous version (I had a 2020 model prior). I notice a rather significant difference at highway speed and just cruising around town in overall noise levels. Super pleased here. The ride quality isn't as harsh as the previous version either. Overall, it feels softer over bumps and potholes barely make it through. Yet, handling is still great albeit maybe a bit less sharper around corners. I think this is a great sacrifice though. The prior gen. seemed to have a rather jarring ride in my opinion. In typical Hyundai fashion, the lane keeping/lane departure assist along with dynamic cruise control works flawlessly, so much better than both Honda and Toyota, and I've driven them all. Highway trips are an absolute breeze with the Sonata. Now, the NOT so good: The door handle sensor only works occasionally. Reaching behind the door handle with the key in my pocket should theoretically unlock the door, but it does so only about 50% of the time. I find myself reaching back and forth to and from behind the handle, and maybe on the 2nd or 3rd or 4th attempt, the door will unlock. Watching from afar, it probably looks idiotic like, is this dude afraid to touch his car, what's going on!? Odd. There's a rattle in the passenger door and is REALLY heard when playing music, even at low to moderate volume. I'll get this checked out when my 1st maintenance visit comes around. The Carplay screen is WAY too bright at night. Like, blinding bright. I can adjust it down to the lowest illumination level and it's still pretty bright, but it also dims the speedometer screen! Then, during daylight, it's far too dim, so I have to go in and turn it back up to max illumination. There's only one illumination level from what I can tell and it controls both the speedometer screen AND the infotainment screen. I wish there was a way to lower the brightness of the infotainment screen while keeping the speedo screen brighter along with greater variances between day and night levels. All in all, I'm extremely happy with the 2024 Sonata. I highly recommend it over Accord (lacking features, horrible road noise, pricy) and perhaps even the Camry, although the new 2025 version seems to be pretty killer.

This is on a 2004 Sonota that has 191,000 miles. I bought it new and it has never been back to the dealership for a warranty issue. It has 2.7 v-6 and doesn’t use any oil between oil changes. This by far has been the best car I have ever owned. Good gas mileage, I’m 6’3” and has plenty of leg room. Yes I would buy another.

I bought the car off a used car lot. It had $54,000 miles on it. I drove it to Louisiana and back and realized it was a half a quart low on oil. Took it back to the dealership and they can't find out what's wrong with it. But other than that overall experience is great.

I have had nothing but a GREAT experience, from buying the car to owning it! I went to Auto Land of Accident Maryland to look at vehicles. I had no idea whatsoever of what I wanted but I knew it was time for a new vehicle. Kerri and Chad helped me find my beautiful red Hyundai Sonata, and I fell in love immediately. The gas mileage is unreal. My son and I went to Florida for a week, and as a girl who loves road trips we drove it to Florida from Maryland. Then we drove all of the way back. A 16 hour road trip, 985 miles one way and I was getting 43.7 mpg. I couldn’t believe it! That whole trip took a little over two full tanks! This car has been perfect for hauling things around in since it has so much room in the trunk and back seat. The seats are comfy so my son didn’t mind the long trip in fact he slept through a couple of states. This is my dream car! Thank you so much Autoland!

We have the Sport Limited Turbo 2.0 in white. Power is good. But, sometimes it seems like the turbo isn't boosting as you're getting on the throttle. Stock tires are noisy, so we put some quiet Michelins on and it helps a lot. Interior-wise, the Nav panel and controls is really something to be desired. It just plains stinks. I'd love to have the newer radio/Nav display that the KIA's have. Trunk is very spacious and leather seats are comfortable. Overall, it's great for long trips (33 mpg on the interstate driving 77mph) and it's a nice looking car. Not as cool as our son's 2022 KIA K5 GT-line, though!

This was the best car buying experience I have had. I have bought 3 used cars within this last year and I also bought one in 2022. I ended up at Auto Trademark because my 22-year-old Honda Accord was kaput. Auto trademark was a relaxed environment from the start. We test drove the 2013 BMW 535i drive with the sports package. We liked it but the A/C on passenger vent didn’t seem cool enough. Z offered to get that checked out and fixed. They also said we could but use a check from my HELOC, no high-pressure sales job for warranties or financing (which adds hours to the transaction and makes you feel exhausted). When I picked up the car after they fixed the A/C, I asked why this particular car had no floor mats (which they noted right away at the test drive), Farhan said they had wondered that too, and immediately offered to order replacement mats. I was thrilled. It was such a good experience and the price was reasonable. I’ll note that I didn’t negotiate, and the posted price on CarGurus was the $1,000 less than what I was charged because they note in the ad that it is listed assuming a military discount. But I had read that in the ad, so it was OK for me. I would recommend this auto dealership to anyone who is in the market for a nice used car and wants a positive buying experience.

For a smaller sedan, it's alright. The gas milage is decent enough, and when you switch into sport mode, it's actually got a fair amount of jump from the line. It's a nice and practical car for the money. It won't knock your socks off, but you won't regret it, either.

Owned our Sonata since October 2017, and it had 38k on it. Now it just clicked over 100k and it's been a great car so far! On a good day, I can get up to 44 MPG and about 25 city. Power is good (2.4 engine), tackles inclines well, and keeps up with traffic. Interior is well thought out and fairly comfortable. We just came back from a 3,300 mile summer road trip and had absolutely no issues! I do all my own maintenance which means it gets meticulously maintained. My #1 complaint is oil consumption. PLEASE CHECK YOUR OIL REGULARLY. If not, you can kiss your engine goodbye! Only issues I've had were two dead batteries but other than routine maintenance, I can believe that this car will achieve 200,000 miles! Take care of your car and it will take care of you!

2020 Limited. Bought it new and I have 46,000 miles so far. Not a single issue yet. Traded in a 2018 Accord 1.5 Touring. The Sonata has more features, rides better/quieter, and feels more upscale. In the two years I had the Accord it was at the dealer numerous times for random issues. I have yet to have a problem with the Sonata going on 4 years!
