Used Hyundai SONATA for sale near Haycock, PA under $15,000

We knew the car we were getting before we got there. Did check out on the internet before we went, made an appointment with Owen and went up. Was greeted by a nice lady who got Owen for us . He brought the car around and said to drive it around for awhile and he would checkout my trade. After all was said and done we got the car we wanted at the price we wanted and a little more for our trade then we thought.we met with the general manager and the finance man. Everybody there was fantastic!!! Definitely would recommend the dealership and ask for Owen he was great.

I bought my car as used from the dealer. I have had no issues so far with it. The radio and heater work better than my old Toyota Corolla.

Bought a truck for great value here, it was well maintained and exactly as advertised, they were transparent about some of its "quirks" that just come with wear and tear, and the sale went smooth. Would highly recommend.

Well just got to 190K miles with minimal trouble. Hit two deer and had repairs other than that just tires, oil, a couple lights was the maintenance. Mine is a 4 cylinder but has been up to 123 mph. Impressive power for a 4 banger I hate to think of giving it up.

I’ve premium Auto version of 2014 Hyundai Sonata. Purchased in 2024 with very low Kms of about 65k but had an issue with starter motor when it came to 70k, other than that, it now runs lit. Been servicing on every 5-7k, it tops comfort & luxury & can challenge any modern car with similar features.

My 2014 Sonata is my fourth Hyundai. I never have had a major problem with any of them. My current Sonata Limited has 70k plus on it. My only complaint on my current car is that the passenger seat sits too low and its a little difficult for the passenger to exit. Other than that I wouldnt hesitate to buy another Hyundai.

I drove 3500 dually diesels for 25-30 years and then went to a Honda ridgeline 2018 new, love it until I drove my wife’s new car and decided I needed a car. My best friend had a Hyundai and loved it so I did hours of reviews Hyundai vs many others. All factors considered I decided to test drive a few. All things considered the Hyundai won and a low mileage 2021 caught my eye and I got it. After apps 1000 miles I am so glad I got it. Pros and cons Honda (H) push button start Hyundai (hy) key start, H remote start hy no remote start, H good ride hy better ride, H noisy hy less noisy,H electric keypad with gloves on more user friendly for me, hy parking easier, hy cornering better, H acceleration a bit stronger but hy smoother, both get the job done, I am 74 yo so I understand knobology better than the slow digital control for heat radio etc.,hy wins there- breaks equal, dashboard info hy wins, seems to love Google maps tolerates Waze, I prefer Waze. Pros and cons about not locking keys in car - can’t dash out start it w/o leaving key in ignition,physically gettin and out of the vehicle is harder, in a nutshell the things that matter more to me the hy wins so far.The salesman, Lamar was exceptional, a young family man earning a living by hustling but not rushing! Remember Lamar at Southern Auto Group in Newport News VA. Oh and the warranty was winner!

Bought a 2009 Honda Civic from these guys and they where great. Jose and Jorge where as transparent as anyone can be. I asked if they can let me go under the car to check for rust and other things and they accommodated me without any hesitation, even provided a flash light. Everything I asked about the car they answered truthfully and never tried to hide anything. I would highly recommend this place if you looking for a used car.

It saved my life I was in a bad car wreck a couple weeks ago in this car I hit a deer and drifted into a tree and flipped 5 times and the inside lit up to help me find my phone to call the police and my radio and steering wheel still worked to help call the police the inside was sturdy not one thing was crushed into the car definitely would recommend

This 2018 is my second Sonata. Hyundai addressed all the issues I had with the 2012 I owned. All I've done is oil changes, brake pads, tires. The car has been flawless, the transmission is very smooth, though I liked the 2012 transmission slightly better for the shift strategy. Technology package is fantastic. Dynamic cruise, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking... Almost drives itself. The car is still humming along like a sewing machine today.

We have the Sport Limited Turbo 2.0 in white. Power is good. But, sometimes it seems like the turbo isn't boosting as you're getting on the throttle. Stock tires are noisy, so we put some quiet Michelins on and it helps a lot. Interior-wise, the Nav panel and controls is really something to be desired. It just plains stinks. I'd love to have the newer radio/Nav display that the KIA's have. Trunk is very spacious and leather seats are comfortable. Overall, it's great for long trips (33 mpg on the interstate driving 77mph) and it's a nice looking car. Not as cool as our son's 2022 KIA K5 GT-line, though!

For a smaller sedan, it's alright. The gas milage is decent enough, and when you switch into sport mode, it's actually got a fair amount of jump from the line. It's a nice and practical car for the money. It won't knock your socks off, but you won't regret it, either.

I came in looking for something good on gas, spoke to Jeff and after looking at a few options I ended up buying a ford escape ! All cars were clean and neat I would definitely recommend this store. I was impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the whole place.

I bought the car off a used car lot. It had $54,000 miles on it. I drove it to Louisiana and back and realized it was a half a quart low on oil. Took it back to the dealership and they can't find out what's wrong with it. But other than that overall experience is great.

Very nice dealership. Lots of good varieties for under 5k!!! Oh my God, I bought 2005 Chevy Tahoe, lots of miles but very nice shape, reliable and happy! I do realize that this is 20 years truck that I "stole" for 4.5k! What a deal. Thanks guys. Will call you soon again, possibly for Subaru Outback, all wheel drive. for the Fall season for my son. the 2012 Hyundai Sonata is a smooth comfortable car with a potential flaw that Hyundai has, in my opinion, addressed adequately. First the Pros: It is stylish in both the interior as well as exterior design. It is comfortable, even for me at 6'3" and is not tiring for extended periods on the highway. The fuel economy is good averaging for me about 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. The engine has reasonable power when needed and is generally smooth. The cons are that the 4-cylinder Theta-II engine that the Sonata Uses, (as well as the Santa Fe and Kia Optima and Sorento) has a known flaw that causes the #4 cylinder connecting rod bearing to wear out prematurely causing engine failure. Hyundai has recently extended the Engine Warranty to a lifetime warranty on these engines and that includes if you bought the car used. I think this is a reasonable response. My Sonata suffered this exact failure 5 months ago at 164,000 miles and the engine was replaced with no pushback. The car carried an original 100K mile warranty which is still considered industry leading so, legally, any car over 100K miles Hyundai and Kia could have stuck to their original warranty agreement and taken no action. But that is not what they are doing. One of the reasons I gave Korean cars a try several years ago was the lack of response I got on a Japanese brand known for their high quality that also had a known failure point but took no action after the warranty expired. Because of Hyundai's ultimate response I still highly recommend the car. if you have a higher mileage Sonata, my advice would be sure you have some sort of roadside assistance, so in case you experience this same failure, you will not be left stranded. The good news is that in the rare instance you experience this issue, you should receive a new engine.

I have a 2017 Sonata SE that has been a very good, reliable vehicle. I spend alot of time on the road for my job and it had never given me any issues; very comfortable, gas mileage around 30+. As many others have said, the engine conked out at around 124,000 mi. The dealer replaced it with a new factory engine 2 mos ago. A week after I got it back, the accelerator something or other broke so I took it back and had to pay $500 to repair it. (they swore it was unrelated- I dont think so) Other than that, it has been a great car.

I walked in as a broke student. Said honestly: “I’m looking for finance but I’m scared.” The manager didn’t roll his eyes - he sat down and wrote everything out by hand. That’s how it should be.

Xavier was the salesman who assisted me in the purchase. I had already scouted out some cars online. They have a great website with everything you need to know about the cars. They even have the Carfax info for the cars. Xavier did a good job of keeping things rolling for me on a busy Saturday. I bought the car that most fit my needs and they worked with me to get me the price that fit my budget.

This is on a 2004 Sonota that has 191,000 miles. I bought it new and it has never been back to the dealership for a warranty issue. It has 2.7 v-6 and doesn’t use any oil between oil changes. This by far has been the best car I have ever owned. Good gas mileage, I’m 6’3” and has plenty of leg room. Yes I would buy another.

Had a 2015 Sonata for almost five years now. It's been trouble-free for the most part. There is some issue with paint flaking off the handles, but nothing to get in a tizzy over. It's not the most powerful car on the road. The acceleration is lacking. But it gets solid miles per gallon. It's also not the most fun car to drive, but it's a sensible family sedan. It is as advertised.

I purchased my 2010 Hyundai Sonata used in 2012, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. I feel like my Sonata is still aesthetically pleasing to look at when I'm walking up to after a long night at work. I have replaced the headlights and purchased new wheels, but nothing flashy, and it remains relatively the same as originally purchased. My only cosmetic complaints are the interior and exterior door handles, in which I've had replaced as well. They (front driver interior, and front passenger exterior) created an inconvenience when they randomly failed and broke off, but those are minor details in my overall view of the vehicle. The vehicle's performance has been nothing short of extraordinary, in my opinion. My Sonata currently has over 200,000 miles, and I haven't had to have any major work done on it as of yet. I still feel like it's reliable enough to drive anywhere and get me back home safely. I love my Sonata!
