Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

I absolutely love this car!! I've had it almost two years and really enjoy driving it. I have the Ruby Wine Sport. This is my 2nd Hyundai. Previously I had a 2007 Sonata and loved it. It was an awesome Sedan (Frankie Sonata). Just wanted a crossover, I guess! No regrets.

I bought it used in February 2024.In the time that I have owned it I have had no issues whatsoever and it has had all the required maintenance. It currently has between 77000 and 78000 miles. I am the 3rd owner and as long as the proper maintenance is done it is a very reliable vehicle.

I have a 2017 Tucson which I absolutely love. It has just over 17,000 miles. The ABS wheel sensor is causing dashboard idiot lights to come and stay on. Recalls for that on every year except for 2017. It upsets me why they are not recalling 2017 when this seems to be happening to a lot of people

After getting the run around from multiple dealerships in LA/OC/IE I visited Auto Republic. Yes, I had my guard up after all the financing and heavy down payments other dealerships we're asking for before even giving me attention. The showroom was clean and the lot had so many dream cars. I'm writing this review since the single star reviews show the lack of reading details about add on features. Don't get upset with a dealership for having tracking on a car (saves on insurance) along with other key options that are great for your next car. I've referred family and friends, all had exceptional purchasing experiences and I'll get my next vehicle here as well.

Our 2018 Hyundai Tucson came with the Best in class Warranty of a 5 Years Engine and Powertrain. I love the Platinum Extended Warranty my Wife and I purchased for a mere $2100 CAD, which covers our 2018 Tucson bumper to bumper for all moving parts, which can be repaired for Only $100+Taxes!! The standard heated seats front and back are excellent for Canadian Winters. The engine is so easy to clean and keep clean, as are the Air Filters to change. 😊👍😎 The worse thing about our 2018 Hyundai Tucson is the heavy Key Fob, which I wish you could replace with a lighter weight FOB, it's the heaviest Key FOB I have ever held in my hands and pockets.😤

I have owned my 2013 with 32k miles and now have 132k. I have been very happy with mine and it has been the most reliable car I have ever owned and that out of 28 cars in my life. Its good on gas and when put in manual mode with traction control off is a totally different car. Most of you that blew your motor properly didnt get the oil pan changed like you should have been told in the recalls. Also just because you had problems at your dealership that doesn't make it a bad car. At least my interiors havent fallen apart like a Toyota with half the miles I have

Overall my 2017 Tucson hasn't given me any major problems. However I would like to know if any other owners have experience, having to change the brake light bulbs every 3 -6 months. I have on several vehicles for 5 plus years but never had had to replace brake light bulb. I really feel like this is some type of defect. Also my turn signal component had to be replaced.

Lots of engine trouble, lots of money out of pocket, lots of love for my Tucson. 2018 Tucson bought used with 15K miles on it. Perfect ride, great in wet weather, AC kicks butt, I’m in South Texas, feels safe, I totaled a 2016 previously and came out unscathed. The only thing that’s been negative is the fact that I’m on the third engine. Lol. The Gemma engines had issues with debris from the cam shaft staying in the engine and I had a blockage in the OG engine that led to overheating issues and eventually warped the block. Didn’t know about the engine issue and just bought a new motor. After about 6 months the second motor, used from a wrecked Tucson, threw a rod and blew up due to debris killing a bearing. Found out about engine issues and bought a resurfaced and rebuilt engine and it’s smooth sailing again. I ride this car hard and it answers the call day in and day out.

Finally got the truck of my dream. I needed a new truck for work and I found the perfect Silverado. I drove passed it for a week and finally decided to go and check it out. So i went in already knowing what i wanted. Had my appointment already made and he was there waiting for me no issues. It was kind of strange to me how he didn’t know where the vehicles were so we had to go look for it. We walked for a bit then got into another vehicle to search for the vehicle. I think the lot and vehicle locations should be better situated. The buying process was easy and smooth. When the car was purchased i was waiting for a final cleaning and check of the car. This took forever. When i finally got the car. The inside of the windows were still dirty you can see the finger prints and the rear emblem had some chemical in it that oxidized the emblem. It took them a long time to seem like nothing had been done properly. I did appreciate the person helloing me to keep checking on me and letting me know the status instead of leaving me. The clean process and check process of the car needs to be better managed. It shouldn’t take that long for a half xxx job.
