I own a 2014 Hyundai Veloster R-Spec. This car worked great for me in college, I maintained the car regularly and never had any engine issues. The car carried everything I needed for groceries and provided a great amount of space in the hatchback for such a small car. The car is fun and has great acceleration. I own the manual version of this car and I have never had any issues with the gears slipping or thumping. The best part of this car is the unique 3 door design that started a lot of cool conversations in college with my friends. It's the best of both worlds allowing people to get in the back without folding the seat down and not compromising in weight or style of this zippy little sports coupe.

We have a 1.6T. It has all of the performance we need but turns into a 40+ mpg car on long trips. It is the ultimate GT car.

Had a tough start with my purchases of the 2 cars I planned to purchase as salesperson Luis Moreta was very non responsive as time went on and numbers changed as far as my trade in values on my 2 cars. He started at one number and the next day that number went down when I asked for number to possibly go up. First time I?ve ever had that happen. So I was done dealing with him and was planning on going to another dealership. Then I figured I?d give them one more shot and Amy Rodrigue and Nancy Vega made my experience as I would have expected. They were super responsive and listened to me explain my issues with original salesperson. They made the purchases of 2 cars extremely easy and from start to finish everything was put together in just over 24hours. it's quick, cheap, easy to work on, and handles great. the perfect entry-level hot hatch, or even sports car. don't go into this car expecting comfort or luxury, that's not what it's about.

I purchased my car used. It was a trade-in to a Toyota dealer in San Antonio, Texas. It started off as a rental in Florida and I am the 3rd individual to own it. It has been an overall good car. But, the AC control knob that controls the fan speed has gotten stuck om low. I can still control the temp, but on cold mornings, it takes forever to defrost the windows, and om hot days, forever to cool the car. Also, there are times the screen that shows the back-up camera doesn't work. There are big-time blind spots with this car, so the camera is necessary. When the screen goes out, so does the radio. I am unable to turn it on, no volume, or changing stations. It's as if there is no radio at all. I thought at first I may need a new control knob, but now I am thinking there may be a wiring problem... such as a disconnect exfed or burned wire. I don't think it's a fuse. If so, it wouldn't work at all. Any suggestions?

Currently being a teen driver who takes his car to the track, and daily drives it, I can without a doubt say this is the best car I’ve driven. I have the veloster turbo, and have driven many sports cars and hatchbacks but all are either too performance based or too comfort based. The veloster is the sweet middle ground. The safety systems are amazing, with the forward collision warning saving me multiple times, especially with people in austin loving to brake check... this car on the performance side, held its ground against a Porsche 718 on track, and for less than 1/4 the price, id say it’s a pretty good deal! It’s also very friendly on gas, and maintenance is very well priced as well! Love this car and would definitely buy again

This car met all of my needs. It is fast . It has nice leather seats and they are heated in the front. It has a sunroof and good sound system . It is stylish on the outside. It is a very good car to own.

The only problem I'm having with this car the power windows on the driver side and the passenger side in the windshield washer motor I'm not are not working properly otherwise the car works very well and drives well and I have no other problems

The Veloster is a great first car for a new driver. The technology inside and the hatchback are my son’s favorite part. Gas mileage is also good.

I have a 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo 6 speed manual. Bought brand new and still own as of this review in 2025. I love the way the car looks. It actually has a design and doesn't just look like a wedge ( like a lot of hatchbacks do ). I currently have 97,000 miles on it with no problems to report. Just routine maintenance. Best advice is to replace the standard Hankook tires for some Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. It is a day and night difference. Really wakes up the car in the handling department. I would highly recommend this model.

I just picked up my 2020 Veloster R-Spec. This car is an absolute blast to drive. The styling is very unique and looks modern, but it's not overly done. The handling and performance are amazing, plus it gets really good gas mileage for a turbo charged car. The interior is really comfortable and all the controls are conveniently placed. The 6 speed manual with short shifter has a really nice feel and is very precise. You really can't beat the performance for the price!

The staff on this visit were stellar and truly were pleased to assist through my buyout process. Jeff and William are key reasons why I came back after my visit 2 weeks ago when a pretty unfavorable visit to buy out lease and treatment by Rex Moonshower. He didn’t want to abide by terms of lease and added extra charges that his salesperson Megan could not explain. He told me is I didn’t like it I could go to tamarin trail or Punta location. I returned with financing thru bank due to my past experiences and feelings I received with Jeff and William. Great economic car. I didn’t realize it’s a sports car, so insurance seems steep but car works great. Reliable. Very attractive appearance. Holds lots of groceries in back hatchback. Getting into and out of car difficult due to low overhead, and if wearing a bun impossible to get in or out of doorway. Hard to buckle seat belts and seats uncomfortable after long drives out of state. Overall, this car is give a strong 7. But, I’m use to newer corvette, and Chevy or dodge trucks with v-8 and lots of comfort, power and room. This was my try at an economical car. I’ve had it for 1.5 years but thinking of getting a truck. Too low to ground for me. Im a very large woman so need more space and comfort. Probable more suited to a younger man or woman as it has eye appeal for sure and stereo, lights, design all cool
