Used 2008 Jeep Compass for sale near Triangle, VA

bought the compass limited new in 2008. love the fact it has a lifetime warranty on the engine & transmission (the only year jeep had it). did have front end problems when new, gave the dealer 2 chances to find & fix the loud cracking noise it made. they kept insisting there was no problem, but replaced right front axle. that didn't solve the problem so i did my own research & found that certain chrysler, dodge & jeeps had undersized control arm bolts. dealer fixed problem after i showed them the technical service bulletin advising dealers to replace the bolts. did have a problem in 2020 with the computer not recognizing the key, so car would not start. very vexing, as it took the dealer 3 attempts to fix the problem, which turned out to be a connector. had to have the alternator replaced in 2021. asked mechanic what genius thought it was a good idea to place the alternator under the engine, making it necessary to evacuate a/c & remove a/c lines to replace alternator. had new serpentine belt installed at the same time. 2023 had to have the oil pan gasket replaced. aha! lifetime warranty came into play---no charge. gas mileage is great, approx 20 mpg city/28 highway. car is peppy, seating very comfortable in front with driver side lumbar support & heated seats, if you are short, back seat is good, somewhat tight for taller person. cargo area is adequate. one drawback is the fact that it's a bit noisy if you only have 1 window open, you have to counter it by opening the opposite window. window guards helped with that. great sound system. good looking exterior. the "silver bullet" as i call it still looks good after 16 yrs.

Bought a 2005 Lincoln Navigator, 145k miles. It's in excellent shape, no issues since I've purchased it. I think they're an honest dealership. I would use them again if I needed another used vehicle.

This car has met all my needs until family of my own started growing needed of a bigger vehicle its economic and runs great never has gave me no issues

Was looking for a Ford Crown Vic, Young Lady call me back asking me if I could come over for a test ride and when I told her I needed more time she was Very Understanding and Call me Two weeks later, Now I'm Going to get the car, Thanks.

It had all that is needed in a car like space and comfort as well as reliability. It was clean as well which is a plus.

I bought my 2008 Jeep Compass brand new in 2008. Drove her cross country to New York and back. Had to do some front end work, replace the alternator and tires twice. I am now in need of struts and shocks and a new battery which has never been changed, just basic maintenance. I love my Jeep and if I'm ever in the market for a new rig.....It will be another Jeep Compass.

My son looked at cars and was not hassled. People answered questions for him. He bought a 2014 Kia FORTE 5 EX hatchback. Blue, ha is happy!

This car is currently meeting my needs . I bought a 2008 used one but currently has so many mechanical problems and am not happy with it. Am spending a lot of money on repairs and I regret my choice . But the car looks good on the outside and has a good interior design with a cool ambiance to it. Maybe should have purchased the newer models but this one is draining my wallet in repairs.

I want to scream a huge shout out to Collins for the outstanding effort he put in to get us going on a car! He went the extra mile to talk the bank I to 0 down for us and to top it off he drove a little o er half an hour to pick me and my other half up in the car we were approved for.. we never thought we'd be coming on in a 17 ford fusion!!! My daughter wanted to buy her first car by herself. I could not have been more happy with how things turned out. They were amazing, she got a great car for a very reasonable price. The transaction was smooth with no attempts to upsell her. They even educated her on the paperwork and process as they went along. Not just shuffled it around in front of her. They even explained the process with the BMV of getting her plates and showed her exactly what paperwork she needed to take with her.
