2021 Kia K5 LXS review
Great car overall!
I’m in love with this car. I love the features with my EX trim. Heated/cooled seats. Sunroof and wood grain interior. The only issue I have is I’ve never owned a car with CVT. It feels a bit odd at times compared to my previous cars. But anything is better than dealing with Ford’s DCT.

2021 Kia K5 LXS review
Great Car
I bought it brand new in October of 2020. Ironically I had planned to trade my 2017 Optima for a new Toyota Camry, but the dealer didn't have any, and sales were out 4 months! This was COVID and Toyota was clearly further behind than Kia. So, I ended up with a new K5 and couldn't be happier. The car accelerates like a dream which is what I needed living just off an Interstate I'm on almost daily. I love the large video screen and Apple Car Play. My only concern is it sits low to the ground like a sports car, but I'm getting older and it makes it a little difficult to get in and out of. Also, when parking you have to be aware of curbs and parking stops as the front end is also low and won't clear some obstacles. But, I love the car overall and plan to keep it for a few more years. I may never own a Camry now.

I received a letter in the mail from Curt Cowling describing a program KIA offers for people that have been in bankruptcy. I contacted Curt over the phone. He was very kind and informative. We made an appointment and that same day he and I visited further and I was really impressed that he wanted to know what I felt about my current car and if I did get a new car, what would be important reasons for me to agree to buy. He asked if I'd like to look at some new cars and I was very skeptical because I couldn't imagine KIA doing a car deal with me since I did have a bankruptcy, and I didn't think they could get the price I needed to pay monthly. I was wrong. I fell in love with the K4 and they had quite a few to choose from. I test drove it and loved it more. Before I knew it, the paperwork was done, the price of the vehicle and the monthly payments were right where I needed them to be. Curt knew so much about the car. The finance manager was awesome as well. I got a great deal and a fantastic warranty! I'm so impressed by this whole experience! Thank you Future KIA of Clovis!
