Used Kia Niro for sale near Paramount, CA under $17,000

I purchased a certified SUV that I had previously researched and driven at another dealership . I knew that I wanted this vehicle if it were as described and drove more than 100 miles to the dealership. The experience was exceptional. I love my Kia Niro Hybrid! I love all of the info that is continuously displayed above my steering wheel next to the speedometer that shows me when electric power is being used or being stored; my current MPG based on my driving practices; and at the end of my trip, it tells me exactly what my mpg was for that trip as well as what percentage of my driving was economical, normal, or aggressive! What an eye opener! I was able to increase my awareness of how my driving practices immediately impact the bottom line! I was able to reduce my aggressive driving from 11% to just 3% within just a few months. Now I don’t just think I’m a good driver, I KNOW that I am a safer driver! As an older driver, I am thrilled with the back up camera! Such a big help backing out of parking spaces in parking lots ( no blind spots!) and getting out of my driveway onto a major thoroughfare in my town! I feel so much safer. And being a grandmother of a kid in elementary school, a kid in day care, and a toddler I keep all day, I have precious cargo! But my favorite thing of all is that I only have to get gas about every 3 weeks instead of every week! I highly recommend the 2018 Kia Niro Hybrid! I didn’t think I could afford it when I bought it used 2 years ago…until I realized how much money I would be saving at the gas pump! I’m very happy with it!

MPG far exceeds EPA rating during warm/hot months with an average of 50-55mpg during regular commute. it does drop during winter months but it bounces right backup as soon as warmer temperature. Touring model has '18 wheels and excellent for long distance ride and everything works seamlessly and rock solid reliable with 60k odo on original tire. Niro has safety system that the our new Lexus NX350 that cost 2x as much doesn't have. sound is automatically reduced when reversing.

Love this car and i am not a car person now or when i bought it but it reliable, agile, good viewing angles, and a design which still distinguishes it, and a killer red that is handsome when clean and shiny. You'd have to offer me conserably over resale market price to consider giving it up. Can you imagine if i can get over 200k miles? Did i also tell you the freakisly amazing 52 mph, 54 mph, 56 mph (only once and i have odometer before and after pics). I'm not one on cloth interiors and i am so used to it i can't comment. All i can say is I keep the interior very clean, uncluttered, and it never smells!

Bought this Niro LX brand new. I was impressed with it within the first hour. Plenty of power when you need it, plenty of economy all the time. We currently have 68,000 miles on it, and the only thing I have had to get fixed is the A/C system which was under warranty. We take long trips in this car and always average over 50 mpg. Driving in town gets 54 - 56mpg. It is so very quiet, even when the ICE is running. Its a shame that the price of these has risen over $10,000 since we bought ours. Not a car that I would pay $30,000 for. I have purchased 3 Kias since this one, and I love them all.

In 2008, my folks bought a new Chrysler Pacifica Limited. The car sales man was great. He knew all about the car and showed us everything about it. The dealership it's self is beautiful and super clean. They also have AWESOME cars inside in which you can sit and mess around in. The overall rating is a 4 BECAUSE, it is so hard to get a hold of these guys to take the car in. We've called 4 or 5 times to only leave messages that have never been responded to, so we are planning on just going there whether they want us to or not!

I love my gas mileage almost 600 miles on a fill-up costing under $30. BUT my AC went out around 80,000 that sucks it cost almost $3000 to fix at the dealership. Beside that I love this car.

Our Niro has been a great car, outstanding mileage and with regular service has been a good, reliable workhorse. Roomy rear seating, rear seat drops down for easy loading of luggage, small bike, pet carrier.

This is my second Niro! And I would’ve not gotten rid of the first one with if someone hadn’t plowed into me, when her ran a red light. Have had no major issues with the car the whole time I have owned it.

2019 Kia Niro was purchased used in August 2022. During test drive it did not blow cold air. Thankfully it was under warranty and repaired in a few days. Steering wheel volume control did not work when turning volume down, only up, and it was brought in and repaired under warranty within 2 hours. Great warranty. I have not had any issues since those two things and hopefully do not have any more. Drives like a dream and I’m averaging 54MPG

My first Kia. It’s a win. I drive a fair amount and I’m averaging about 47 mpg. It has as much storage room as my Subaru outback did, and get double the gas mileage. Has some neat features like the cruise control with automatic car spacing which I find fantastic since I drive on the highway all the time. I see people always talking about power, but I cruise control at 82 on the highway no sweat. You can’t go much faster than that around here so I’m completely satisfied with that performance. I definitely recommend this car.

Really love my Niro, mpg is a very big plus! but now engine light comes on, health report told me, powertrain, took in and the dealership told me needs vacuum pump and filter, bought new 2018. KIA is seeing the issue with the Niro.

So i went in already knowing what i wanted. Had my appointment already made and he was there waiting for me no issues. It was kind of strange to me how he didn’t know where the vehicles were so we had to go look for it. We walked for a bit then got into another vehicle to search for the vehicle. I think the lot and vehicle locations should be better situated. The buying process was easy and smooth. When the car was purchased i was waiting for a final cleaning and check of the car. This took forever. When i finally got the car. The inside of the windows were still dirty you can see the finger prints and the rear emblem had some chemical in it that oxidized the emblem. It took them a long time to seem like nothing had been done properly. I did appreciate the person helloing me to keep checking on me and letting me know the status instead of leaving me. The clean process and check process of the car needs to be better managed. It shouldn’t take that long for a half xxx job.

I have had my car for 8 years now. It has 104,000 miles on it and (knock on wood) I have not had any problems with it! I do drive a lot of highway miles and not as many in town!

Nate was the best he definitely went above and beyond and made sure I was getting everything that i wanted he also went out his way in told Me personal stories on the cars what I wanted to give me a better visual of the car and if it was for me , he didn’t just try and tell me what ever to get me to buy what ever he made sure to get me to buy a car that I truly wanted so Nate ! Besides the incredible gas mileage, my Niro is so quiet and smooth. I love the space in the interior, and the extetior. You won't regret getting a Niro.

This review is for the Ex with tech package. I’m the original owner and have been driving it for about 4.5 years (98k miles). Overall I’ve loved this car! The tech package was a must for me and I love the added security of the blind spot warnings. The front collision warning has saved me from countless accidents. The sport mode is also nice. The only tech my model year was missing was remote start and lane keep assist. The seats aren’t the most comfortable compared to my cloth civic seats but I do use the seat heaters a lot so it’s worth the trade-off. The leather is getting some cracks but that’s to be expected with Vegas heat and driving nearly 100k miles. Me and my 5’6” partner have car camped several times since the seats lay down so flat. As a family of 4 we have managed to take a 30 and 60 lb dog with us on many road trips and still has space for backpacks. When the seats are down it’s shocking what you can fit back there; med dressers, tables, etc. The biggest flaw is that the MPG are really crappy for all freeway road trips. Driving more than 100 miles and my MPG tends to drop between 34 and 38 depending upon hills and weather. I imagine this may be a factor of driving close to 80 MPH. In my city, I average 46-48 depending on how much I use sports mode. Also, It doesn’t come with a spare tire. Admittedly I’ve abused this car and it’s held up great considering my very infrequent service and oil changes (oops!). I do suspect some rust buildup on the rotor because they make noise when it’s raining… but that’s honestly been the only real issue with the car mechanically. I’ve only had to replace the tires once. I didn’t need to replace the break pads but I did so anyways to see if that was causing the noise from the rotors. At about 50k miles the driver door button stopped working but it was covered under warranty. Also, the driver mirror motor stopped working, but that may be a result of not pulling them in at the car wash. My tip to owners is to remove the ugly hun caps because the black rims underneath look much better. You can get black lug mugs and covers for about $30 online.

Very nice interior for the type of car. Has all the bells and whistles plus some. I’m 6’4” and have plenty of room! Love this car!
